Gratz mate sorry i wasnt there but im having a rest from play for abit.

Ppp for Brutes are rubbish and when the free respec you get for finishing your patron arc is working il shall be loosing mine.

Imo mercs are so dull, i got mine to 43 and i cant even bring myself to log him in any more, not sure if thats down to him being mercs though or just the MM AT.

Id have to say watching people play thugs or robots they do seem more fun and also seem to do alot more damage than mercs as well.

Doing paper missions set to highest rep would be the fast way to lvl again but id say you cant start this until around lvl 10, until then just do as many missions as you can or join a good team it wont take long to get to lvl 10,

Thats the best part about this game you can still learn about your toon even if you think you know everything about them, but glad you now see the joy that is an elec/elec blaster

Agree, but imo id say an efficient blaster would have melee attacks as well, being a long range blaster does not work well these days since ED imo you stand a better chance of being close to the action and killing mobs fast as pos and holds ,drains and melee will do this faster than ranged attacks, i tend to use my ranged blasts as part of a attack chain while in melee range and it works very well.

Have to say although i still love my nuke but tbh since ED i hardly ever use it now, i even got close to respec it out but kept it to remind me of glory days.

When i do you use it now as has been said pop build up, aim and some reds and it can still be alot of fun.

Ok imo id drop Voltaic Sentinel its not worth having better of picking up any of the melee powers far more powefull and worth having, if you can pick up aim sooner than 38 together with build up this is a fantastic combo, id look at your slotting also 6 slotting anything is not worth it these days and the slots can be used to better effect in another power.

Id also look at maybe dropping recall friend and picking up hasten, as for epics static discharge imo is not worth it and the same goes for em pules best of getting shocking bolt and the armor and thats it, also maybe worth thinking about your slots on Thunderous Blast imo 3 damage and endred is more than is needed for this attack redrec will not help much to get the power back faster.

So over all id say pick up all the melee attacks get hasten drop the Voltaic Sentinel,EMP Pulse,Static Discharge and Recall Friend and go back over your slotting again.

Oh and make sure you pick up aim soon as you can along with build up.

Seems to be the case that empaths are wanted and are a must for newbies or going through the lower lvls again, i remember when i first started getting an empath was so hard as they were in such high demand.

At the high lvls though say 40+ empaths do seem to take a back seat also if you got a team full of people who have multiple high lvl alts then empaths are abit unwanted.

Imo i have no objection to having empaths on any team with me no matter the lvl as sometimes no matter how good a player you are you can find yourself in trouble and an empath on the team is a great back up dishing out heals,fort and cm is always a benifit.

Only prob i have with high lvl empaths not all but some out there is they dont heal when you need it, or stick themself on follow with heal aura on auto while they go afk,ive had it happen many times while lvl up my pb
