Simply call it something different. There's a fun sub plot in Easy A where the teacher complains that most of the students didn't bother to read The Scarlet Letter but instead chose to watch the movie version staring Demi Moore, which of course strayed from the original novel. Sorry for me the only Three Musketeers movie that mattered *To Father Xmas* was the 1973 version with Raquel Welsh and Michael York.
Just want to clarify it wasn't the whole Musketeer corps that were the secret service stile guys, just the 3 and D'artanion were the best of the best of the best. There wasn't even much along the lines of gagdests except for the traps in two of the castle scenes, the airship, the gear used in one of the castle operations, and well thats it.
oh bolded and corrected for clarity as many have a particular favorite of this story / mythos.
Side note.. has there been any stories done of the Three Musketeers outside of D'artangion joining the corps? would be kind of cool to see a movie of before.. or better yet AFTER (because mother of all that is holy I would love to see the story move forward) -
AND I LOVED THE HELL OUT OF IT!!
Fun
dug the story (the Musketeers were more a secret service-esque style group instead of just really elite soldiers (they were that too but slicker)
Decent action (sword fights were slick)
Great dialogue
Mila in a corset!!
yeah it was all around win!!
note - they had a homage to the 3 Musketeers version that Charlie Sheen and Keifer Sutherland starred in. -
So far very awesome eps of Generator Rex, Young Justice, Batman The Brave and the Bold - LMAO (Aquaman musical portion nearly killed me)
Ben 10 Ultimate Alien is coming up here on the West coast.. -

While Hulk and AKA Jessica Jones are in development at ABC and Cloak and Dagger and Mockingbird at ABC Family, The Punisher which is being produced by ABC Studios is the first TV project since Disney bought Marvel to be set up at a non-Disney-owned network. Not too surprising though, considering the character's darker nature.
I honestly... am not sure if I am cool with this.. or if I want to pimp slap someone... Will wait and see but I see them trying to make a kinder gentler Frank Castle, and I don't like that idea at all. -

Premise - , three high school students make an incredible discovery, leading to them developing uncanny powers beyond their understanding. As they learn to control their abilities, and use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control, and their darker sides begin to take over.
Looks interesting.. so long as they have a lot of action and minimize the teen angst (hard considering the main characters are teens) it might be worth the watch -
