Devidose stood up and brushes himself off. "Shim, you need to take this seriously." He sighed, as she teleported to her feet.
"Do you really have to give me this lecture every day?"
"Well, maybe if you took this serious-" Devi was silenced by the block of ice in which Shim had just encased him. A wall of fire engulfed the cave, and when the steam cleared, Devi was standing with his arms crossed, a pool of water at his feet. "Not. Funny."
Shimmery was doubled over laughing with tears in her eyes. "I'm... sorry..." She could barely speak for laughs. He looked at her stonily. She fell silent. She could tell he was done with the fun and games.
"The Trolls Task Force has always seriously underestimated Atta. They've used him symbolically so the new heroes can feel like they're taking a pop at one of the big boys. If only they realised how big..." He paused.
"But... new heroes defeat him all the time..."
"Shim," he turned to her, "Look at what you just said. They defeat him all the time." She stared back at him blankly. "Let me explain to you why he's so dangerous..." -
I agree with Zortel's points there.
Also, I annoyingly correct grammar/spelling - so here goes.

Shimmery treaded over the charred remains of the wood which had been previously blocking the entrance to Atta's lair, and blinked as her eyes adjusted to the light. Devidose stepped in behind her, his eyes instinctively scanning the shadows of the cave for signs of danger.
"BOO!!" Shim yelled, making Devi jump as she teleported in front of him.
He glared back. "This isn't funny Shim..."
"I know" She teleported up onto a ledge carved into the cavernous ceiling of the entrance. "You always said training was important." She grinned and jumped down, accidentally landing on top of him and knocking them both to the ground with a thud, causing the dust to whirl up around them.
Shim stared at the ceiling and waited for the dust to settle before she glanced over at Devi. He was rubbing his right shoulder and glaring at her intently. She couldn't help but giggle. His features softened as he tried to suppress a smile "I'm not laughing..." Shimmery erupted in more giggles and Devi could no longer hide his grin. She stopped giggling and smiled back.
Devidose looked at Shimmery carefully. "Be serious"
She stared back intently. "I am..." -

I'd like to be there, but I'm not sure I can risk taking Snaedis to such a high level area. I know Lusca scales to level, but the Family and DE which surround her, don't.
If anyone wants to take pity on a poor ickle Blaster and sk her for the event, I'd be extremely grateful.

Shim!!! He yelled, speeding forward into the group of trolls, as another flash of light blinded him and she appeared a few hundred yards on.
Gotcha!! She laughed cheekily, continuing to teleport across the Hollows.
He looked around him. A dozen angry trolls glared back at him. A Gardvord pounded his fists against his chest and an Ogre bent down to pull a massive boulder from the earth. The Ogre lifted the stone high above his head and looked dumbly at the spot where Devi had been standing.
As Devi ran as fast as he could towards Attas hideout, he saw the rock fly inches over his head. Ill get you for this Shim! He growled.
She teleported down in front of a door saying Keep Out and giggled as he approached. So you didnt think I could beat you huh? He glared at her in response and blasted open the door.
After you -
The wind whipped her hair across her face, and Devi brushed it back for her instinctively. She stared up at him, her eyes glistening.
Seriously, Shim He paused. We cant let this get to us. We need to put all our energy into finding a way to change things not wasting time thinking about what could have been or whatever.
She sighed. I know Lets go anyway And in a flash of light she was gone. A moment later there was another burst of light a few hundred yards away.
Devi heard giggling in his communicator. Im gonna beat you! He could almost see Shim winking. Pff! Wanna bet? He replied as he jumped off the building leaving a shower of sparks behind him.
He weaved around the groups of Trolls and Outcasts, keeping one eye on the rhythmic flashes in the sky, as Shimmery teleported across the ruins of Eastgate. She may have had a fair head start, but he was definitely catching up with her, he thought, as with every flash he drew a little closer.
They were over half-way to Attas current hideout, as Devi sped under the bridge he knew for certain Julius the Troll would be standing on, when he drew suddenly to a halt. Where was the flash...? He saw her body falling limply from the sky, headed straight for a group of angry-looking trolls. -

One question I have is what reason do characters have to go to GG? I can understand going to Pocket D; It's a night club and because of that it has an in-built reason to go, but what reason would a character have to stand under a statue at 9pm every night?

Shimmery gazed out over the vast expanses of the Hollows as the sun slowly began to rise over the horizon. Dawn was one of the few moments of the day where the tensions were merely simmering; after the shady dealings and fights in the myriad of shadows and dark alleys, and before the open warfare of the day escalated the clashes in every corner of Paragon City to boiling point.
She sighed peacefully. The city was as quiet as it ever would be. For a second she thought she could even hear a bird sing over the distant shouts of ugly fights between the outcasts and the trolls.
Devidose stepped forward so he stood inches behind her.
She acknowledged him in almost a whisper "You'd never know..."
He looked puzzled. "Never know what?"
"It's so quiet...You'd never know ... what it gets like..." She sighed softly and turned towards him. He looked down at her.
"Don't think about it. We just need to get on with what we're here to do. We can't let Atta get any more power here." -

Dear Diary,
I can't believe I haven't updated in so long! But I've been ill, turns out even 'Superheroes' can get the Flu! Underneath my suit, there's definitely nothing 'super' about my immune system!
Anyway, aside from all that; I've been helping the Precision Rangers on a few missions; and I've been helping to clear up the streets in a place called Perez Park - I even helped fight this weird monster called Kraken there too!
I'm security level 12 now... according to my electronic ID. D.A.T.A have taken some more looks at my suit - so they've helped me control the ice a little more! Anyway, I'd better go! Paragon City won't clean up itself!
I'll update more - promise!
(Oh and Devi has been so nice to me =) he's so great!) -
Would love to. Have Recall Friend but not invis. (However if someone had grant invis it could work - I'm quick like a fox
)

Just like to post a brief update...
My apologies for not posting in this in a while; but I've been very busy with stuff inTHE REAL WORLD!
I'll try to be back and update soonJust got a lot of work/evenings out on atm.

Dear Diary,
I woke up to see a message determinedly flashing on the screen of my console.
Devidose: Hi! Hope you're doing okay! I wondered if you maybe wanted to join the Precision Rangers, since you don't know anyone here yet?
Devidose has invited you to join the Precision Rangers.
Devidose has gone offline.
I rolled over and smiled to myself. At least I have one friend in Paragon City.
I arrived at Caitlin Murrays office at 10am sharp; and soon I was on my way to investigate more Clockwork activities. She sent me round a few warehouses, and a community centre where they'd captured members of mensa...
I finished at about 3pm; and she told me she had no more work for me; so I was to go and see her friend Paula Dempsey, in a place called Kings Row.
I stepped off the monorail into a zone part industrial district, part old New York style brownstones. Sand and coal was piled high; and vast warehouses stretched into the distance beneath rusting water-towers.
I walked a few miles to where Paula Dempsey was waiting for me; and she instantly sent me away. Someone in a place called 'The Hollows' urgently needed my help.
I wandered back to the monorail as the sun was setting.
It would have to wait til tomorrow. -
Dear Diary,
I woke up the next day feeling a little lost. Noone was coming for me, noone was there to show me around, noone really cared... I was just a number in hundreds, maybe thousands of other heroes. I had a shower, had breakfast, then climbed into my suit listlessly. I'd better get going to Freedom Corps - after all, there were only another dozen or so heroes who could do the exact same job... I sighed.
I slowly retraced my steps back to the Freedom Corps headquarters (being a little more wary of figures in the shadows, after learning my lesson walking home with Devidose) and by the time I arrived it was around 10am.
"Morning Shimmery" Caitlin smiled. "Have a good nights sleep?" I smiled unenthusiastically. She didn't seem to notice. "Okay then, I need you to get a Clockwork piece from a man called Kip Cantorum. D.A.T.A needs to study them more so we're in need of a sample... Oh! By the way, I forgot to give you this." She handed me what looked like a tiny TV screen. "This is an all-in-one system. It contains a GPS feed, your ID - you won't be needing your card anymore now - and data on your achievements; virtual 'badges', if you will." I accessed a few menus.
"Uhh.. it says I already have a badge... 'Isolator'" I told her, quizzically.
"Ah yes! Well, the Police were so pleased at the extra thugs you put away in that outbreak, that they decided to award you with this badge. You really helped them with their investigation." She smiled. Her phone rang. "Anyway, we both have to get to work! Bye!" She retreated into her office.
I hadn't had the chance to ask her what a clockwork was... Oh well, I'm sure I would soon find out. I saw she'd marked Kip Cantorum's location on my map, so I walked about a kilometre until I saw him waiting for me at the agreed spot.
"Hi, you must be Shimmery" He extended his hand warmly. "It's nice to meet you." I shook his hand shyly. "I'm afraid I gave that Clockwork piece to another Hero, but there's an office they've taken over nearby - you'll probably find a piece or two kicking around there."
I went to the office he marked on my map (still oblivious to what Clockwork actually were), until I walked in, only to have a blast of electricity hit me in the eye. I blinked painfully - and shot blindly ahead of me. "WHO'S THERE??" I yelled. All I heard was the dull rattle of machinery. I blinked again, my sight returning; and I looked down to see a tiny bronze machine with a key sticking out of it's back just as another bolt of electricity hit me in the chest. 'Ah so that's why they're called clockwork' I thought, as I freezed it until it's parts were all jammed and it's circuits were ruined.
Two more waited round the corner. They didn't put up much of a fight either, and I picked up a few cogs and gears from them as I walked towards the door.
Just as I got outside, a message flashed up on my screen. 'You have been invited to join a team. Do you accept?' I accepted.
'Hi!' Flashed up on my screen. 'We're in Atlas park - we need to find a crate. We'll see you at the warehouse (it's marked on your map)'
Coyote had mentioned the monorail to me. Guess now was the time to be using it! I ran the half-kilometre or so to the monorail; and it was mere seconds before it stopped in Atlas Park.
"Wow!" I uttered in awe, as I stepped out to the balcony of the station. I gazed around me. Atlas Park was lush and green, with statues of heroes gone by - and a beautiful marble city hall surrounded by a park. To the other side was a lake, with a statue in it's centre. "Wow..." I repeated. "Maybe I should've picked Atlas Park after all..."
I arrived at the warehouse 5 minutes later, only to see a mere 2 soldiers left to arrest. With a few blasts they were down, and we found the crate we were looking for - and left.
Once we got outside, we saw a few of the same gang I had encountered on my walk home last night with Devidose. (Apparently called 'Hellions', one of my team told me.) They looked a good bit stronger than me, but they were trying to steal a woman's handbag - so I charged in. Unfortunately, they were a lot stronger than me; so it was lucky for me that Ion-Storm stepped in and healed me! (Or I could've had my first test of the Mediport patch!)
After all the fights, I felt a lot stronger; so my team told me I should see Miss Liberty, the trainer for Atlas Park. I thanked them, and headed off on my own to City Hall.
I saw her from afar, a group of heroes clustered around her; while she quickly dispelled advice. I eventually got my turn, and she showed me how to fire ice more rapidly. It did a little less damage, but it allowed me to draw water from the air more quickly. She also told me that I could probably improve my old attacks with some advancements to the suit, now that I was used to them. I smiled and thanked her; and returned to my apartment in Galaxy City for the night. -
Godmode?
I assume you mean making your character all powerful and perfect rather than 'human'?
If so, then agreed
