Not really, if their are lvl 50s on the team you will get no XP from killing anything below a mid 40s threat lvl whether the "lowbies" are SK'd or not. The only enemies needed for accolades that would give XP that I can think of are Fake nemesis robots.

PS wouldnt it be quicker to SK the "lowbies" to 50 so they can join in as vastly overpowered killing machines?

I think this info should be on the main website itself. Everquest 2 has a cool website which logs your in game character (my bf plays it cos I've hijacked the COx account!)

It'd be most cool if all of our in-game profiles and powers etc were accessible on the site. It's all stored in a database so it's doable, probably a question of priorities.

Yes there where times early on when I felt my contribution was making little difference to how a mission went, though I think defenders suffer similar feelings at times. But my controller never sat back and waited for the tank to finish, I always was in the thick of things.

Don't believe them I say! I only have about 3 hours on a weekday to play due to my work situation and I certainly wont be on every day. Weekends aren't much better, sunday is usually my longest stretch but it's pretty random how long that'll be.

I expect it will take me a long time to ding 50 and I've been playing since US release. But I still love it, I'll get there eventually.

Short?!?!? Never.

My blaster took nearly 700 hours to hit 50, playing 2-3 hours each night, maybe 3-4 at the weekend. It was only shear pig headedness that made me trudge to 50. Controller was done in about half that, basically by learning from the mountain of mistakes with my blaster.

You had the misfortune to team with my gimped blaster in the Hollows (being controlled by a n00b didnt help ). Anyway you were part of the first really good teams I was ever on, gave me advice and encouragement and inspired me to go and make an empathy defender, so a quick thanks from me.

I am a rad/thermal corruptor and I have taken every secondary power so far available to me apart from Thaw, I took stamina instead because I like to keep busy, buffing (shields), healing and scourgifying stuff! Unfortunately that seems to be quite end heavy

The main problem I have is slotting, where are my priorities? I have 3 attacks (not counting the uber brawl!!1111 ) 2 are 6 slotted the other is 4 slotted, heals are 3/4 slotted with 2 in each shield. This way I have my maximum damage output with 3 well slotted attacks with a reasonable heal, IMO I dont need to be the healer because so many other powersets have heals too, we work together to make up for the lack of empathy.

I am not however "the healer" I dont feel responsible if you die, its not (always) my fault.
