you are going to have lv 50 toons that don't know how to play their toons very well no matter what you do. the difference between a "noob" and a vet is most of the vet's have experience in how most of the powers behave. unless they pl'd an at that they haven't tried before, then it takes them a little longer to get used to it. the difference is they are not afraid to ask about things in game where the new player is because of the bs answers he sees in broadcast.

and yes, your ideas are completely stupid on how to fix the ae. and since this seems to be a rant about farms, as shown in the last sentence of your post, it needs to be taken to the appropriate thread for farm discussion that mod8 made in the City Life section.

thats funny, because i know several people who have emp defenders and solo just fine. would you like to know why? because they have a strategy to soloing. something which you seem to lack. read the booklet that comes with the game and it tells you that some at's power sets were designed for teaming. that should have been your first clue. you can also go to the defenders section on these forums and learn about what works for soloing and what doesn't.

actualy darktyger, defenderofflames has been around since before MA. take a look at his posts. as for calling people that use MA differently then you do peices of trash, it was uncalled for and a big mistake on your part.

i always for get what server your on ful. i can check though to see if i have em incase your on infinity.

i think what is being said is that when you're teamed and both of you take your cape mission, which happens to be from both 1st contacts, they should count as being the same and have the little box come up for the person whose mission didn't get run.

i ran into a guy on infinity trying to charge per every level you got in a mission. being me, i spoke up in broadcast and poked at him a little to get a rise. after about 5 mins of poking the guy finaly logged off. haven't seen him since.

try rolling back to the 185.85 nvidia drivers. they have worked fine for me and have actually gotten rid of the nvdlmnopqrs display driver problem.

the whole reason the OP asked was because he asked in another thread how to get auras. so instead of asking there he started another thread which he didn't have to do.

so i guess i don't have totest it out. it has been a while since i taken on fort's with any type of control. oh well.

are you sure you werent using your immob instead? i can't get on to test yet but it may be possible that if you haven't locked your powers in your tray, assuming you use your mouse to click the powers, that they got switched around. i'll let you know as soon as i can get on to test though. i have a 29 mind/ice dom that i can test with.

servers go down on monday and friday mornings for server resets, maintenance. usually from 9-11 am est.

and no, trial accounts can't join super groups.

this is nothing new. it is a known bug.

hmm...then no there isn't anything you can do. it just happens. worst time is when you're PvP'ing and it happens right in the middle of a good fight.

make sure your drivers are up to date. reset your modem once in a while. do a clean up on your comp. other then that there really is nothing you can do.

we don't need a teamin badge. it is pointless. and the dev's wouldn't tie in an accolade power to a single badge. especially when we already have accolades that give these powers/bonuses. and all the badges are attainable by everyone. even the people who choose to solo. this badge would be unattainable by those that can only solo due to time constraints or whatever.

we already had a discussion similar to this when someone suggested a team leader badge. it is just not warranted. and as for your comment about following the story of the game, i solo and i do dev created content which must mean that i am following the story of the game. so moot point. again we do not need a badge like this. ever.

and what about the people that solo because that is all they have time to do? as for tying in some kind of power from it, NO. all people would not be able to get this. not to mention the fact that day jobs already offer accolades for some of your ideas and for the others we already have regular accolades that fill these rolls that are attainable by a solo player.

you can also do it without being in base edit mode. and im sorry i fogot to let you know how to do that in my previous post.

there are no privilages for the vault, it is personal and noone can see what anyone else has in it. and in order to change the permissions for the base storage racks and tables you have to be the super leader(red circley star) or leader(plain circley star).

please, since this is your first toon and first time playing the game, please do not try to argue against people that have been here for quite some time. most of us have had the same issue you have had and are trying to help you understand what is going on. if you were fighting when the mission ended then somehow the boss got by you and ended the mission. he could have run behind you when you were fighting any of the 3 mobs before the mission ended. when fighting in caves, it is highly possible with the camera angles that you can't see everything that is going on around you. even if you scroll all the way back on your camera because it is not an open area.

with that said, go back through ouroboros and do the arc again. make sure you are on heroic so you can beat it for sure and get the badge.

yeah, the defeat biff mission doesn't state anywhere(or at least didn't use to) that you have to stop him before he escapes. that is the mission i had to petition 2 times. once he starts running though, if you cant stop him and you get defeated you wont be fast enough to reset the mission. if you did this for the CoT mission, the same thing applies.

did you petition it in game to have a gm clear the fail and complete it for you? i had to do that 2 times on an escape mission before.
