sorry i don't sugar coat things with rainbows and bunnies and pretty flowers. and this is just another whining/people must be "farming"/pl'ing because i can't find a team thread. there is no way the OP would be able to tell who is teamed with who just by looking at the team search window. he is making terrible assumptions. and then he tells us that he is stuck teaming with people on his global list or RL friends. *gasp* oh my, isn't that what we do when our friends are on? oh, and to answer PvPleasehelpme's question on why i didn't report it:

if you bother to read any of the posts i made, you would have seen that not only did i post relevant info to the op but i also asked him to answer any questions without using the word "farm". none of which he has done. don't try to bash people for stating the obvious, which you seem to do very well.

i thought i asked you to reply why your idea was good with out using any form of the word "farm". obviously you can't. you are a troll whining that you can't find a team because you choose not to and blame it on farms. so now that you have been shot down in your other thread, you decide that it would just be easier to eliminate all the 50's so it will be easier for you to find a team...... GROW UP. start your own teams rather then waiting for an invite to teams. join global chat channels if anyone will let you to find teams. use coalition chat, use sg chat. use request channel. go solo if you can't find a team. your book analogy has absolutely nothing to do with this game. realize that noone will stop playing their 50's and no amount of anything will get them to stop.

what does a punch or kick have to do with a sword? not to mention how many different animations for each power thaty would have to be made.

enough with the "farming" sterotypes of 50's. you have no argument for why you would want this so just stop already. give up on trying to get an "end" to the game. in fact, why don't you try to keep a 50 around and do the things you missed, or do the things you like. maybe get some friends for once and help with their missions, or have them help you with yours. oh, and the next time you reply to someone try to keep "farming" out of it.

again, take your anti-farming suggestion to the place it is meant to be. in the City Life: CoH & CoV general discussions section in the "farming" thread that Mod8 started. you have not given one actual reason why this would be a good idea other then your obsured assumptions of "farming".

first off i am not trying to thread jack. your main purpose of your original post was anti-farming. you have a very obscure idea of what "farming" is. but so that this thread doesn't get locked down withthe response of "please keep all farming threads in the appropriate 2 threads about it", as said before when you take away what the goal of the game is you might as well shut it down. if you don't like the game go elsewhere. and before you leave, can i has you stuffs?

you could offer me all the money in the world and i still would not give up my 50's. I enjoy playing my 50's no matter what i'm doing with them. now give me proof that "farming" has a negative affect on the game. "farming" is not the only thing to do when you hit 50. plain and simple. and for someone who said that they see no reason to have a 50 you prob should stop playing the game then. how many times can you go through the content before you get bored reading the same stories over and over and over and over.... seems to me you would find this more annoying then having a 50.

how about you respond to some of the other posters in here. and while your at it get it through your head that there is no amount of anything that will encourage people to do this. like i said in one of my posts in here, this is an anti-farming thread in disguise. please take it to the appropriate thread in the City Life section.

absolutely nothing could get me to part with any of my 50's. nothing, nada, zip, zilch, zero.

so basically this is an anti farming thread in disguise. guess what? there is a thread already dedicated to farming in the City Life section. there is plenty for a 50 to do. in fact there is a new TF/SF comming in i15 for the 45-50 crowd. oh, and i would like to see proof that lv 50's destroy the game. seriously. if you can give me 100% unadultered, unarguable proof then i maybe, just maybe might maybe give your idea a 2nd look and still turn it down.

im going to add a #4: it would kill off the game completely. there would be no more CoX at all.

so explain to me tony how it is that a toon that hasn't been logged on since before MA and lv pacted with someone else's toon is being deleted. i haven't had this happen to me but i do know others that have. you are obviously not reading entire posts before you reply or just have so much brown on your nose that is is severly effecting your sight. yes some people blatently exploited while others didn't. and it is the people who were wrongly effected by this whole sweep that are trying to voice their opinions. READ the post BEFORE you try to genericize it.

no to all of it. all are bad ideas with the acception of the safegaurd/mayhem idea.

1: TF/SF changes: nothing about them needs to be changed other then giving the villians some for the lv ranges that they don't have one for.

2: MA changes: not every mob you fight in a regular dev created mission has bosses unless set for 7-8 people. and regular drops can already be obtained from doing HoF and Dev's choice arc's in MA.

3: Safeguard/Mayhem changes: sounds good.

4: Costume pieces: NO. not a good idea at all.

5: Curency changes: i don't think you even know what currency means. you can already purchase whatever recipe you want with merits at a higher cost then random rolls. and we have, if you count vanguard merits separate from reward merits, 4 types of currency in the game. 3 types per side.

6: World events: again you don't understand the word "currency". there is no need for a world event or salvage currency. not to mention it would get the people who just couldn't grasp the whole base salvage/invention salvage concept and got base salvage removed.

7: SG/VG changes: absolutely not. 150 members is fine and if anything coalition needs to be raised to maybe 15 groups or so.

if you even bothered to read my first post in here i stated that i would be leaving for now due to RL( real life, sad i have to tell you what RL means) reasons. i never said i would be gone for good. and again, NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO READ OR REPLY TO THESE POSTS!

like Rock said, i am making the most of what i paid. if i don't it was a waste of money and since i can't get a refund i will be here until i decide to leave.

with that said, thanks to everyone who actually took the time to read the posts the way they were suppossed to be and for understanding it and showing your sympathy/empathy. i'm sure that we will all be back at some point just keep an eye out for us.

so far everyone of the leaving threads has nothing to do with farming. it has to do with the way the dev's have dealt with the issue. lrn2read. stop assuming that all these leaving threads are the same. and to use your own words on you, you were not forced to read or respond to these type of posts.

it means that each team member must be a different AT(archetype). which means you cant have all tanks or 2 tanks and what ever, but 3 different AT's.

Rock, have a good one man. was fun hangin with you the couple times i got to in RV. i to am letting my account go for various reasons. (mostly being rl stuff). i might be back once in a while, but who knows. and to eveyone else who is leaving i wish you luck and the utmost fun in what you do.
