Synopsis: During a Rikti assault on Paragon City, a legendary hero goes missing. You must team up with Turbo Starr and unravel a mystery that may spell the end of Paragon City!

I'd appreciate feedback on this arc. I want to make sure the clues and dialogue are understandable, so any comments on maps/story parts is appreciated!

When you play it, pay close attention to the clues and dialogue, as well as what transpires throughout the story. It is intended as a prologue to a much larger story.

I think you will all have fun with this arc. It has a little bit of everything, and not everything is what it seems

I already did and got everything cleared up. The GM was very helpful.

I sent all the relevant information and my toon was restored. One costume she had I can maybe see as a stretch, but other than that there was nothing even remotely similar.

You may want to explore all the facts next time before jumping to conclusions about what is/is not a EULA violation and about players whom you know nothing about.

I understand your point of view and I do agree with the EULA. However, I don't agree that it should be taken literally and that every single thing needs to be petitioned. During the Marvel suit, blatantly obvious clones in name, power choices and costume design were the subject. They were obvious clones of existing copyrighted material and should be petitioned. Petitioning every single INV/SS tank with flight and laser beam eyes who remotely resemble the more famous of characters should not be.

Take a peek around the fan art forums here and at websites like MMO ART... are there similar characters to copyrighted material? Of course.

How many characters in this game are mutants who have a bio that says they attended Charles Xavier's school? How many were once part of the Justice League? Were recipients of the Super Soldier serum or something similar? Should they all be petitioned and banned too?

Furthermore, if I alone had to petition everyone who ever used a profanity during the course of gameplay, there would be no one left on this server. I don't need the EULA or a GM to take care of anything I find offensive in-game for me. I use the ignore feature if need be and turn off channels where stuff is said that I don't want to read.

Save the EULA and GM time for serious violations that are truly noteworthy and prevent people from enjoying the game.

It's my understanding the game is rated "T" for Teen, so children should not be playing it.

There is also a reason for the /ignore feature and profanity filter. If you find this kind of thing offensive, ignore the person, turn on the filter and leave it on.

Someone standing in Atlas blatantly broadcasting profanities is one thing... once in a blue moon after a team wipe or something is another.

I don't think you read my post at all. I've let many, many, many things go over the past 5 years I've been here. During my tenure, I've seen my share of Wolverine, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Spiderman and other "off color" named toons and did not report them.

Now, according to your response, people like this should be reported because they are "hurting the game". I'm sure to see "BangMeGood" and "D E A D P O O L" this evening in Atlas doing their usual AE PL begging, so I will be reporting them since I don't want to "hurt the game".

I didn't put in a guess but I enjoyed the arc overall. It was something different than the usual stuff you find in the MA and had a story worth reading. I can see where the second mission would be a little much for some (mostly due to all the slows), but I had fun running it.

Turbo and I are collaborating on an arc that has a mystery to it. Your arc inspired us.

The toon doesn't really matter. I'll change some of the outfits around a bit, but if NCSoft feels it is a real copyright issue, then delete the character and delete my account. What I find amazing is that one of the costumes "genericized" is our SG uniform that looks nothing like any existing character.

She is not a "clone" of an existing character. She is a very, very loosely based parody.

I've no idea who did it, but I just wanted to say thank you. I'm glad you've nothing better to do with your time than ruin other people's fun.

Since the introduction of i14, I've seen more than my fair share of Hulk, Wolverine, Deadpool, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and various other rip-offs in Atlas asking for PL farms in the AE. I've seen my share of "colorfully named" characters like "HooFlungPoo" and "BangMe" and I've minded my own business and let you go about doing your own thing.

From now on, I will make it personal mission in-game to locate every possible clone and report it.

Thanks again for ruining my character. I really appreciate it.

So rate the ARC as you see fit and move along to the next one. No one forced you to play this Arc.

The whining and complaining over "farms" is getting old already. Any MA created content can be considered a farm.

If you did not like the story, the content or whatever, quit the mission and rate it as you feel appropriate. Then move on to something else.
