    Depending on the AT and Powersets, END issues can be radically different. As an example, my MA/SR toons were slotted with nothing (both offense and defense) but END Reduction DOs from 12 to 22 and that toon was a wind sucking pig until SOs and fully slotted stamina. My MA/Regen was an entirely different story.
  3. Was a lot of fun. Really nice to have Ocho join us for this one.

    Well done everybody!

    If it were only a small minority of players who took advantage of Mito farming, do you honestly believe the developers would have taken such swift and stern measures regarding "AE PL'ing" up to and including banning accounts?

    Of course no one knows an exact number, but I will guarantee it was a lot more than what you think.

    I'd bet it was way more than 20% of the playerbase.

    You don't know that. The devs would have to sell that inf for so low an amount in order to keep RMT'ers from competing it wouldn't be worth their while to do so anyway.

    2. Saying "legal" RMT would destroy CoX is a theory, a good one YES but we'll never know. You can cite real world economical examples that would support the theory but that's still all it is until proven which (despite the impression I've apparently given) I hope never is.
    Actually, the way I read the example it was dealing with de-valuing "rare" in-game items and having to rework drop rates/inf sinks to compensate for the influx of cheap inf. Those are guaranteed to happen if the devs make cheap inf readily available to the playerbase. Too easy a game = players get bored faster and quit game.

    The 100% guarantee for getting rid of RMT you are looking for is;

    1. Don't use their service
    2. Play a game where there is no in-game economy or anything of value

    This. Personally, I haven't received a single /tell or email since the update to include turning off email. Ignoring them and not using their service is going to do a whole lot more to hurt their business than anything the devs will come up with.

    Right, and kill their own game in the process.
    I agree the idea of NCSoft selling inf for CoX is a terrible idea.

    I do all the time. My pet Monkey likes ArachnoSnaks, Mako Munchos and Recluse-O's cereal. You can't buy those anywhere in Paragon City.

    Yes, you may lose your toon name.. but teaming would be a LOT better.
    Your thoughts...
    After 6 years of playing this game, I have yet to have a problem finding a team to join or starting a team.

    If you cannot find/form teams, the problem is you, not the game.

    The servers do not need to be merged.

    Meh, I like to be anti-social and give people a hard time. Especially Turbo. And Foley. Sun too.

    This is more to the point however;

    It is likely that you had NOT seen my prior interaction with Lord Ozi on TW, since that doesn't get posted for posterity like the forums do. However, he has been complaining vociferously about the server nickname, the server attitude, the server population for months now on Triumph Watch 2. Every time he has voiced his opinions in TW and he is provided feedback - some polite, some not so polite - he remains unmoved and unconcerned that *his* opinion is not the *prevailing* opinion. He states that this forum breach of conduct was for all of us "...was just trying to help out the server" and " ...was for a good cause" yet no one else appears to have supported this, even in concept. So, I stand by my statements in my prior post. While I am content that he apologized for his breach of nettiquette as well as forum rules, I do not appreciate that he still feels like he did this for 'us' when it is something that 'we' apparently don't want.
    I recall seeing quite a bit of this silliness on the Triumph chat channels as well. It's this kind of crap from people who are not satisfied and complain (yet refuse to do anything for themselves to change that - as in rolling toons elsewhere or server transfers) that I ignore the channels or put them on a different tab the majority of the time. Some people just deserve what they get. Like Rhynwa says, it's nice he said "sorry", he already knew he doesn't speak for everyone and has no business trying to do so. Nor should he be going to other servers and insulting them.

    I would like to point out that -- the ones that are jumping on the OP - who is apologizing for their actions - are rep PL'd posters; and those that are accepting the OP's apology have their rep turned off.
    I lol'ed at that one. Or, it just might be that the person in question deserves it.

    Also I don’t visit the forums often enough to know the rules of posting and that cross forum spamming about something particular is against the rules, which is TOTALLY my own fault.

    1. Triumph is fine as it is. Thanks tho.
    2. Fix'd for ya and ignorance of the rules is not an excuse to break them.

    Regen Scrapper

    Regen does get better. It's never going to do what a well built /SR can do IMO, but it's still a fun set to play. I like it for the simple fact it comes with QR that can stack with Stamina. Micromanaging END is one of three things I hate most in this game, and with Regen, you don't have to worry about END.

    That and it would keep in line with the ED philosophy.
