  1. Hiya E. Sign me up as well. I'll be bringing Shadowrush's sidekick: Strike Girl, a Kinetic Melee/Ninjutsu Stalker.
  2. Had fun on tonight's SF as well. I was on the team that Luna formed, and Xort volunteered to start it for level purposes. We had a few deaths but it went relatively smooth. We also basically fought our way to the objectives, except for the BP boss mission, where we just went directly to it.

    This SF made me realize I'm really enjoying the MM I used for this SF. I've been looking for a mastermind arch-nemesis for Shadowrush that I would like both conceptually and gameplay-wise, and I think I'm finally going to stick with this one.

    Anyway, enjoyed the run. Until next time, Hail Freedom Horde!
  3. Hiya Luna. I'd like to join too. I'll bring Black Shogun, a Ninja/Dark Miasma Mastermind.
  4. Congrats to the winners!

    Great character concepts all around from all the server winners in the contest. I really enjoyed the event. Thanks PERC for organizing it again this year. ^_^

    Ha! Don't sweat it Turg.

    It was still fun. After the first few deaths, looks like we just went with it. Chaotic play, rushing the final Heroes and just fighting, lots of deaths, but it was fun. I hilariously enjoyed the run (well two runs). Got 3 new shiny badges for it too.

    Friday night would be awesome for me too. ^_^
  7. Loving it so far. \(OoO)/
  8. I'm interested in this too, Mr. E.

    I still don't have this one too on Shadowrush. I've been looking to join one. But depending on the time, I'm not sure if I can make it on November 6, I'll be representing Freedom in the Mr. Paragon Contest on the Test server that night. It will start on 7 pm CST, so depending on what time you'll be setting an MoLRSF and how fast the contest finishes, I may or may not make it.

    You usually have these Mo runs at around 9:30 pm CST right? Hopefully the contest will be done by then and I can come. ^_^
  9. Thank you for this. It may be old news, but I for one have never seen it before.

    Oh! Yeah, I remember reading something about that in the objectives during the first time. For some reason I had forgotten about the "Clockwork Arrival" thing, and in subsequent missions to get the rest of the badges I had treated the timer as just the usual time limit needed to complete the mission or you'll fail. ^_^;

    Thanks Lemur Lad. Will be fighting some Praetorian Clockworks later.

    Huh... I did not know this. I didn't notice any Praetorian Clockworks on the map. But then again, I didn't stay after Mission Complete to look around. I'll try this out when I log in again later. (O_O)
  12. I was on MB's team last night. There was Freedom Horde fun as always, and at times it was... exciting.

    It took us a while to organize a plan in the final mission. In the end, we just fought our way up the base, and fought the AV in the ocean. It was still fun regardless, especially since in all my years playing this game, this is only the second time I've been in this particular SF (first time was with Mr. E, with my actual villain a long time ago)... so the SF still felt fresh for me. (I rarely focused on villain-side)

    Thanks again for the event. Looking forward to next week. Villain Respec was it? I'll probably be joining that one too.
  13. I'd like to join too Luna. My main, Shadowrush 50 MA/SR, still doesn't have the badge for this one. ^_^
  14. Yup, there were fewer attendees this time around. But, I'm not complaining. <_<

    I still enjoyed the contest. There were some great costumes that I saw. The new additions to the rules were pretty fun too.
  15. I would love an Asian Town of sorts. Something that combines a lot of different Asian cultures placed into a mixed modern city setting with traditional themes. Some parts would have high-rises, while others would be a busy atmospheric section with stores and smaller streets. Maybe they'll even be a temple or a school nearby.

    We could probably put a trainer or TF contact from one of the characters in WISDOM that hasn't been used yet (Sparkblade perhaps?). Maybe we can have a dangerous part of town where ninjas suddenly appear and attack players (or that could be the zone event).

    So... yes, Asian Town. Would really love one.

    Ha! This one. I have a dual-blade scrapper alt who has this for fun. I sometimes take him to Atlas Park, and make him use his scrapper taunt slotted like that. The dual-blade (or katana) taunt animation is perfect as he just points one of his blades at the low-level target and it just dies from his awesomeness. Hilarious!

    Oh I can understand that. But it seems kinda reckless to drive through a filming location to get to a destination. It might be an emergency, but it may cost lives doing it that way before even reaching said emergency. (And in this case he didn't reach it at all)

    It could also be the fault of the production crew though, perhaps they didn't secure the location enough or posted notices of the filming?

    Heh on a different note though........ the kid inside me made me think "Poor Bumblebee ".
  18. Here's the link where I embedded a video report of the accident.

    An unscripted car crash happened during the filming of Transformers: The Dark of the Moon in Washington D.C., when a real-life police vehicle drove through the set, reports TMZ. The incident was captured on video, which can be viewed above (via FoxNews’ YouTube).

    Police activity was reported near the area due to a report of a bomb scare. A real-life police K-9 vehicle from the Explosives Ordinances Division decided to take the shortest route and had gotten through the movie set. The vehicle collided with yellow autobot car Bumblebee. The police officer inside was taken to a nearby hospital.
    I hope no one was seriously hurt. But it does make me wonder what the cop was thinking. Did he just not notice a movie was being filmed in that location? Also, this is not the first time an accident has occurred while filming Transformers: The Dark of the Moon. A bad omen perhaps? >_>
  19. Thanks Luna for organizing it. And thanks Paragon for leading our team. I quite enjoyed it. It ran smoother than my real villain's first run of the SF.

    It was also really fun seeing that group of Longbows piling up on that recaptured scientist. The ambushes just kept coming and grouping around it. It was hilarious! Thankfully, through some nice pulls by our leader, we thinned them down and got to the scientist again.

    We had some trouble with Captain Power's computer, but he didn't give up and kept on fighting. Overall, it wasn't a perfect run but it was fun and funny. Enjoyed it.
  20. Thanks as well Venu Sovereignty. Had fun with the run, and got two shiny new badges.
  21. I would like to join this as well. I still need the badge on my main: Shadowrush (MA/SR) 50 Scrapper, he's a Villain at the moment, collecting badges. Global is @Shadow-Rush. If you still have space for a non-support character that is. ^_^;
  22. I wish to sign up for this too, if a slot is still available. I've been missing my last attempts at joining Freedom Horde events recently, so by hook or by crook I'm gonna be there. Shadowrush MA/SR Scrapper is currently a Vigilante, working his way to the dark side this weekend. ^_^

    A viral puzzle for Tron: Legacy found at xdqlrpgmqivgca9tfjcqddnbxt.com, which came from a tweet from Flynn Lives, was solved by the people at the Unfiction forums. Solving the puzzle gave the address www.tronnight2010.com.

    Tron Night 2010 is a special event available in various locations in the US and Canada on October 28, 2010, where people will be treated to an exclusive sneak peek of Tron: Legacy featuring 20 minutes of footage. Check out the site to see if an event is happening near your location. International events will also be scheduled soon for locations outside North America.

    Free tickets will be available on the site on October 12, 2010 at 1 PM EST. So be sure to check out the site again at that time, if you’re planning to go, since the tickets will most likely be first come first serve.
    Here's the link to the article, with links to the sites referenced.

    I'm excited for Tron: Legacy, but because of it, I'm also not sure if I wanna try to go to such an event like this, because a part of me wants to see the movie as a whole with fresh eyes. But then again, the other part of me has locked onto October 12 to try and get a free ticket on the site. ^_^;
