I can never get an ITF started that lasts. The team I had quite AT Romulus pt 2. SOOO PISSED.
Sidebar: how do you get the team mates names different colors?!
[/ QUOTE ]
Different color names? Its under options, scroll down and look near the other chat related options on the first tab. I can't do without it anymore, makes it easier to differentiate names at a glance. -

Now, this is turning into "A Serious Open Letter To Arcanaville"
What about your hair?

Yeah. Let's go back to discussing squeezable D20s.

Bah, those would never roll with anything approaching true randomness. What good would they be?
*Listens to ear piece.*
What? You don't say?
Nevermind, carry on. -

Maybe she's in Nome...

Hawaii, if I remember correctly. Honolulu, to be specific.

Well, there is the answer. She must be hot if she's in Hawaii, humid too. -
No shock, called on the account of poor turnout.
Enchantress will be running one on Friday June 12th at 9pm Eastern. Hopefully she'll have more luck with attendance than I do! -
Raid is tonight, I hope to see lots of happy people there!

In my defense, those Inspirations are pure drops from the mish and we were ambushed so I had no time combine any of them... as for the color... i prefer to keep my UI in line with the overall color of my characters powers or outfits... and her original outfit was purple.
Moving on though, these are hilarious, and I'm sorry you found the picture juvenile Shadow_Fire. = (
[/ QUOTE ]
I didn't say it was bad, just juvenile. It may be one of the lower forms of comedy, but its still funny. -
Hmm, I'll take the risky pick then. Tuesday June 9th.
-
Yes, yes you are.
I wonder how long the banning would be if one used the Notify Moderator button to notify said moderator of teh lulz? -
Corpses doing CPR? Its that where zombies come from?
Much hilarity in this thread from such a juvenile screenshot. -
Its time once again to muster the troops and attempt to dog pile Hamidon into submission.
Saturday May 23rd, 8pm Eastern. Meet in the Hive for the next assault against the giant jello and his fruity cohorts, bring any leftover EoE you have!
As usual, I still need 6 other people to lead teams, including one to run the Hamidon Tanking, and one to herd the main raid vs. the Blue and Green Mitos.
Hope to see many of you there! -
Hmm, interesting. According to City of Data, Blasters and Defenders drain the same endurance in PvE. Odd, I could have sworn that Defenders had higher base draining (post I6 sometime, my memory is hazy of when the change supposedly happened). They do in PvP according to the same source, but not in PvP.
That makes a big difference. I'll have to go check in game.
Still, the Kin part makes for stronger single target draining (Transference is damn good) and provides for better protection while waiting for the draining to work. -
Why recharge in Voltaic Sentinel? You can only have one up at a time, and its recharge is equal to its duration. While previously slotting a End Mod/Rech IO would speed up its attack rate, that was removed in I13 making Recharge in VS utterly pointless.
Hmm, other oddities. End Mods in T-Blast? Bwha? Transference and Transfusion not 6 slotted?!
Otherwise, nice team oriented build. Personally, I went for Resists instead. Boxing, Tough and Charged Armor instead of the Leadership Pool. I do have Recall Friend for utility, but its going away when I respec again. What for, I have no clue right now. Grant Invisibility has its merits, hmm... -

Other than the slotting being out of date, Quason's old guide is still useful. Should be plenty of updated recomendations toward the end of the thread from others. I'm still planning on writing one of my own, but I'm digging up numbers at the moment.

Yes, Kin/Elec is good for draining endurance. It is worth noting that Trickshooter is accurate about blasters having an edge in AE draining, at lower levels. However, by the 40s Defenders have caught up, and potentially surpassed, the Blasters.
A few tips:
Only slot Endurance Modification in Transference and Short Circuit. The effect of that enhancement in other powers is trivial.
Recharge is more important than Endurance Modification in Short Circuit. The recovery debuff only lasts 10 seconds (base recharge is 20 seconds), without that your foes will have the endurance needed to attack.
Repel and Zapp are the best powers to skip. Voltaic Sentinel and Increase Density can be alright to skip. Really though, the best powers to skip are travel pools, and Fitness. Kinetics provides for both.
Good luck with it! -
I haven't seen a single thing on new APP sets being introduced for any AT. Though we are long overdue to get new ones all around. Probably just a rumor.

I don't think dealing with removed content via Ouroboros should be that big of a hurdle. All it needs is a little narrative to explain, and a place to put the appropriate contact.
I give you the Islands of Time.
[ QUOTE ]
Greetings, I am Mender Seers. Behind me is a device that will transport you to the Islands of Time. There you will find important historical events that are largely secure in their occurrence. While they are not at risk as many other points are, by participating in the events you help to solidify them, making any future changes more difficult. It is best to act as if you were part of that time, those therein have no inkling of their status.
[/ QUOTE ]
Behind Mender Seers (or whoever) is either a gravity geyser, or a simple portal. This transports the character to mist shrouded islands in the hinterlands of the Ouroboros zone. Each contact is on an island that seems to be a chunk of the city torn out of the game at the time of the event. Energy bridges connect the islands, and an exit from the zone is on the first island. To do the content, simply talk to the contact.
In any case that a mission goal has also been removed, it would also appear on an Island of Time.
Calvin Scott for example would be standing on a chunk of IP, ready to give his mission. Sister Psyche in Aurora Borealis' body would be standing at her usual spot. Just talk to Calvin as usual to do the TF.
If one TF isn't enough reason to do this they could have an old Bastion TF vs. the 5th Column, or even have access to the old Riki Crash Site (for who knows what reason).
Nice and simple way of keeping old content around, allowing the setting to advance without having to loose any outdated content. -

This is so freaking awesome.
I'm hoping for...
Rikti invasion
Rularu invasion (where I came in the game, during the invasion! woot!)
ICE PONDS! Winter Lords!
5th vs Council!
HALLOWEENIES!
ZOMMMBIES!
I'd most like to ice skate. Seriously. Under a Rikti warship. With zombies coming out of the ice. Being shot at by 5th.
hehehehehehe.
I love this game.

Zee, you forgot the important time rift that somehow reopens doorways to the Paragon Dance Party! :P

Don't forget Calvin Scott! No issues leaving him around during other events.Should be interesting regardless of what it is.
Now CHAOS. Hmmm. I should make sure my shoe gets 3G service. -
Aha! I knew I had seen that somewhere! Good spotting.

I remember leaving Outbreak for the first time, only to be unable to find Back Alley Brawler amidst all the spandex surrounding him.
I remember the joy of finally being able to skip Outbreak.
I remember the frustration realizing my main couldn't get Isolator, then the annoyance when we finally could in Recluse's Victory. One mark every few hours.
I remember street sweeping in Perez. All the noobs learning that multiple Defenders on a team rocked.
I remember when only Positron's TF actually worked.
I wish I didn't remember attempting it a dozen times as teams wimped out on the first mission. Then finally giving up and just finishing it solo.
I remember when TFs capped one level higher, and training one more level would boot you from the TF.
I remember when a Rikti ambush in a low level zone was practically an event.
I remember sitting at 38 for most of an issue trying to get a Numina TF, because everyone else was too busy farming Hatched Kraken.
I remember drinking the sweet tears when that Kraken XP was finally nerfed.
I remember when seeing the Shadow Shard was a leveling goal for me.
I remember when Fulcrum Shift could cause error messages and had the great old ripping sound effect.
I remember just about everything in this thread, other than the old skool Hami stunts and the first Remember when... thread. -
Very, very nice. So from left to right and top to bottom they are: Ghost widow with Arachnos Banner, Synapse Running, Dark Watcher, Manticore and Sister Psyche in embrace, Numina, Midnight Club banner, Unknown, Arachnos Tower (Ghost Widow's?), Archetype Zodiac wheel with Origins over Cryptic Logo.
That sun image seems vaguely familiar. The only places I can think that might have something similar are Oranbega, Ouroboros, and Cimerora. Obviously I could be completely off base.
