I hear rumour that completion of the trial leads to your character being unable to enter the actual zone after, is this true? If so, then completely no reason for a roleplayer to do the trial for character advancement so as to not neuter the character's potential roleplay or exemplaring for Praetorian content.
Sure, I may be overreacting, but I believe this extreme of story progression forced upon characters is not needed. If an ending for Praetoria's destruction was needed, they could have continued with solo-story missions for your character's own story (much like the last choice in the DA arcs), meanwhile have the final trial fight end on a more neutral note than SO YEAH THIS ALL EXPLODED, OOH LOOK SHINY MAP, THAT WAS COOL WASN'T IT MICHAEL BAY?
Please wait until they tell us or its released to figure out if it was Nova or more then Nova Praetoria. -

INTRODUCTIONHello, Virtue!
I'm back with another Dark Astoria event, but this time? Post i22!
In this event, we will be forming up at the hospital in Dark Astoria and moving from there to clear the streets until we reach the cemetary. This will give us exploration & defeat badges as we move towards where Mot himself lays. From there, depending on the turn out, we will dive into a RP Dilemma Diabolique run. DD is a 16-man iTrial introduced with i22 and does close the events of Dark Astoria with surprises.
Following the completion of the RP DD, I will be holding another more OOC event. Taking place in Dark Astoria itself, we (the event hosts) will be holding costume contests and trivia. This will be one of two things that closes the night with a 2bil+ give away in prizes, so prepare for a night of fun with this!
To close off, we will have a minor IC debriefing of what has transpired and what to expect from those who have dedicated themselves to seeing Astoria restored to a brighter state.

So, without further ado? I present to you the event details.
IN-CHARACTER
WHO: Heroes / Vigilantes / Rogues / Villains
WHAT: Fight Mot & and his minions!
WHEN: March 10th -- This portion begins at 7PM CST / 8 PM EST
WHERE: Dark Astoria -- Meet right by the hospital
Mot has awakened and his minions are free! But that is not all, as multiple villain organizations converge on Astoria and make it a battlefield. A call out has been made by Shadeknight & Dr. Warlocke for all heroes to come to join them in an assault on Astoria to show Mot that they are not weak and will not let him rule Astoria. But, Mot poses a greater threat and various organizations (ex: Arachnos) have decided to send agents and what else they could spare to join the assault. Mot threatens the world and it is time to unite to bring him down!
(Following our assault upon the cemetary, we will form into 16-man team(s) and attack the new iTrial under the premise as the next step of our fight back against Mot himself and his minions)
OUT-OF-CHARACTER
WHO: Heroes / Vigilantes / Rogues / Villains

WHEN: The first begins at ?? (As I do not know how long DD takes, this time is still being worked on)
WHERE: Dark Astoria's Hospital area.
In Dark Astoria, some time after the finishing of Dilemma Diabolique, we will move towards Dark Astoria's hospital and set up for costume contests as well as trivia. The judges / hosts will be using request for announcements as well as the trivia questions.
Costume Contest #1: Lovecraft
-> I want to see Lovecraftian themed costumes! Be as creative as possible with the Cthulhu mythos or just Lovecraftian horror in general. Give a good shout-out to one great horror with a costume and let it show here.
Costume Contest #2: Overall

All I keep hearing is oh no you thought of using that bit of lore first and now I am sad I cant from every one who argues with me. I also already said i know I am not the only Bentley Berkeley out there, I am the one on virtue, and it is one of my accounts global's. I also know there is another demtrios vasilikos on virtue using the upper case i trick for the L in the last name. Never met the guy but I put him on my friends list in case I do ever see him on. I once did that with Dauntless until I met the real Dauntless and couldnt stomach that trick anymore. See I do recognize first come first serve. Id made the mistake of assuming dauntless was blocked out and the upper case i was the only option. But nope there is a real Dauntless on virtue, claims to predate the history badge and lore to. Maybe he does.

I dont call them "My Characters" They are simply character roles I find appealing to RP. However I can try to undertand that character, get inside thier fictional head so to speak, and flesh it out.
My entire OP was not ever about a " This is how it happens or should happen" debate it was just my own offering in the current countless posts and threads about states death and why or how could he be brought back. Personally I am glad the last remnants of jack are being expunged from the game, and I truly hope someday all the dev based icons will be removed leaving the world more open to new heroes every day.
The fact is I think people are truly just jealous because due to my use of lore what I described could easily be something that could happen and has nothing to do with me at all. Each character i suggested being there existed in lore before I made a few my own to enjoy RPing. That is the point of being lore based so when new lore is added you already fit with it quite well. clearly I do a good job of picking my own roles and how I play them because as of yet not one bit of new content was ever added I couldnt easily spin to fit with my portrayel. CoV itself proved that to me as several of its SFs play out like they where custom made AE arcs for a character like T'Keron Valmaz.
The end battle in the VSF with the Beast where I can start by acting all aloof and uncaring, right up until Infernal is on the ropes, then I costume change to my human form, and rush in yelling " Leave K'Varr be vile demon! You wish to face a Binder of Beasts, then face the one who has bound your lord to his own flesh!" and then revel in a great one on one with that big ugly while the rest of the group usually stand around going wtf is happening here and is he really soloing that big monster.
If you do have to constantly adjust and update your lore based character then you likely didnt do strong enough research in the first place to properly take on the role.

No one in their right mind is jealous of your fan canon. Not a SINGLE person should ever be jealous of your fan canon.
You are using lore which does not belong to you (The game's already pre-set lore) and basically bashing it with your own head.
If this was kept off the forums, better written, or both? This sort of flack would be non-existant at best. At worst? Some people might flak you if they run into you in-game. -

Demetrios, who we see to have bad grammar and spelling, was making fun of someone who has comma placement troubles.
Mind you, the person who he was making fun of? Not exactly the best at grammar or spelling either, but I suspect said person isn't an English-first person. I may be wrong.
