They're a sin against man! Okay that's dramatic.
What I mean to say is these caves are a pain in the keister to navigate. They're narrow, cramped, and not to mention the infamously inefficiently set up end rooms where you fall through holes or have to keep jumping over and over to reach higher areas. It basically MAKES you wish you picked fly. In a game all about customability, I shouldn't feel like I should be forced to use fly.
And before you suggest it, screw jetpacks. -
Ah. Thanks for the heads up.

Quote:Excellent! Thanks : DIt's a decent stand-in for a Rularuu weapon I suppose, but it doesn't look like the other Rularuu weapons. Hopefully we'll get a real Rularuu TW sooner or later.
Edit to reply to ShadowMoka: Assuming there ever is one, and that it's unlocked by the Overseer badge, yes it should unlock immediately if you already have the badge. -
If I went ahead and killed 100 just for the hell of it, do you think I'd unlock it automatically upon release? (If there ever IS one)
-
I recall Zwillinger mentioning there'd be a rularuu titan weapon, but I can't tell if that's what purgatory sword is or if I unlock it by killing 100 overseers. I just wanna confirm one or the other before I spend the next hour or so in shadow shard wiping out rularuu.

Shadow Mokadara here! You can call me Moka for short.
Are you tired of being restricted on how you do your job? No bloodshed allowed? Can't blow up the enemy base? If so, do I have the surprise for you!
Breakdown is a group of special ops mercenaries and heroes who take the tasks a normal hero is too goody goody for. Say the Phalanx want an Arachnos base blown to the heavens (or to the fiery pits of Hell in that case) but can't dirty their reputation with such a disgustingly "violent" act. That's when we come in and do it for them!
Now we're more that meets the eye. Have you ever explored a dimension full of eldritch abominations? Oh what am I saying? Of course you have! Did you like the thrill of stopping those monsters from entering our world? Then look us up.
If any of you heroes are looking for a place to crash, I can let you sleep in the club for free. Free food and drinks too.

Quote:inb4 NemesisWell, the spilled spoils has resulted in everyone talking about it, that's for sure. Still not convinced that's not the main purpose of it all anyways.
Some drama llamas would have you think they're on the verge of /ragequitting over the devs letting this cat out of the bag. I just wish people would let the whole arc play out before starting with the gnashing of teeth and the rending of clothes. I have a feeling even more surprises await if they're willing to throw out this major spoiler this early. -
Actually I had it long before this on my hero. You can get it from vigilante tips or going villain, getting Hero Slayer/Killer and then going blue again.
-
While the crits are incredible on a scrapper, Energy aura is a powerful secondary for Titan Weapon brutes. I'm almost always at cap fury in each mob I encounter.
-
I was more disappointed it got spoiled by the devs themselves. I guess it was going to be spoiled by griefers/trolls right off the bat anyways, eh?

Quote:The new villain lowbie arcs are actually pretty villainous. They just need to extend the regular new story arcs into later levels. Even offer some new story arcs for after level 50, maybe.
Oh, wait, we're saving another dimension now. Y'know, it's becoming increasingly difficult to write a story for this character when it's so damned hard to do genuinely evil things in this game. I really wish they'd hire some new writers for the villain content. I mean the current writers are okay at writing heroic stories, but there's really no sense of great evil being done by my characters. It's like someone said "Evil = Robbery" and that became the writer's bible for everything redside. I'm not asking to firebomb orphanages or anything equally un-PC, but a superweapon project every now and then never hurt anyone. Well, except your targets. They tend to hurt quite a bit.
Regular story arcs. Involving your alignment.
Not the well. And if it does involve the well, it's either you trying to master it as a villain or keeping it from mastering you as a hero. -
BAF and Lam are far from easy to fail unless you're running mini BAF or with just stupid people.
TPN and MoM are like UG I guess. Unforgivingly hard. -
Release Oblit after Titan Weapons? SNEAKY SNEAKY, NCSOFT. You got me again!

Actually at the end of WWD4, Positron takes over the Phalanx in Statesman's place. The player won't be the new leader. I hope not, at least. RP will get really wonky.
Anyways, yeah it's confirmed States dies. -

Maybe.
I'd rather just get the old defiance. -
