Quote:Its not the value of the bonus that matters it's the name. Gaussian doesn't give a 1.25% to En/Neg, it gives a 2.5% to range 1.25% to en/neg(Moderate Increased Ranged/Energy/Negative Energy) which is different from Reactive Armor and Pounding Slugfest's 1.25%to En/Neg .625% range (Tiny Increased Energy/Negative Energy/Ranged), you can stack up to 5 of each. Not sure if I'm the only one noticing this, but a heads up for you Diellan...
With set bonuses, it seems to not be following the rule of 5. On occasion it's allowing me to slot the same bonus 6 or 7 times, specifically with the 1.25% Energy/Negative bonuses.
Noticed it on an EM/EA Brute build while trying to add more regeneration with the Pounding Slugfest set, and saw it also added the 1.25% Energy/Negative bonus as well, for a sixth time.
Already had three Reactive Armor sets, The Gaussian's Synchronized Fire Control set, and one three set of Pounding Slugfest when I noticed the sixth bonus add in. (Which all give the same 1.25% Energy/Negative bonus)
Also had it happen while experimenting on an Invulnerability/Super Strength Tanker build, and had the 1.25% Energy/Negative bonus apply seven times. -
Not that it's really on topic, but this is false. The Pop-up was removed as a temporary fix for an exploit using Walk and Mystic Fortune and it was put back when the permanent solution was implemented.

I'm not sure Vanessa is old enough to be Penny's mother.

That's what I recall from Beta too, people came to the conclusion that the unlock occurred at the level ding of 20 and was dependent on the characters faction at that point, so side switching and Praetorians are out of luck. Part of the confusion could be that people still get the you have unlock EATs text, even if they've already unlocked EATs, I even got it on my Praetorian characters, and those who are inclined to test and post to Wiki are more likely to be the established players who already had the EATs unlocked.

Since everyone had the exact same chance at getting shards, it is in fact perfectly fair. I could see adding a streak breaker to reduce the feeling of falling too far behind, but that's about it.

If I remember right, the last thing we heard on customized travel powers was that travel mode animations were outside the scope of Power Customization
-
I noticed today that Patroller::Criminal and Pratroller (Praetorian Origin)::Criminal have separate entries despite being alternate versions of the same badge.
-
The rewards you can pick are tied to contribution level, and it isn't exactly clear on how that's calculated. I never had any problem getting the full reward table as long as I was involved with the event from the start on my tank, but I know of at least one Mastermind who couldn't get the badges despite being in from the beginning.

The point is that the spawns in the CoP are summoned Mobs, similar to Rikti Portals or Death Shaman pets, and don't give any rewards so throwing in a few shards at the end wouldn't be all that unfair.

For what I can tell, Male has all three pieces (Sleeve and Pants pattern and dragon baron coat) Huge has just the Pants pattern and Female has none of the pieces.

Quote:The Syndicate patterns didn't come with Going Rogue, they are a bug from i17 and have, to my knowledge, never been officially released. That's the whole costume in a nut shell. Going Rogue brought us a Syndicate design pattern for the pants, and the Jacket sleeves, so my question is: why no Syndicate design for the torso portion of the jacket?
Quote:This isn't the only set that is missing a piece, either. For example, the Praetorian Police set is based around the gear worn by the the T.E.S.T. NPCs in the game: we have nearly all of it, except the side-thigh guards and the large gloves.
Considering the art already exists, and we have access to most of the costume(s) already, I would like to see the full set available. Anyone else want to see it, or know other costume items that are missing but could easily be implemented? -
Quote:You should read up on the information on the Carnival over here, Vanessa/Giovanna formed the group as vigilantes, their methods just means the world sees them as Villains.Yet Vanessa is almost exactly the same, only good? Why? It'd be interesting to see how they justify this... If they ever do.
Also, remember, Praetoria isn't a mirror world any more, it just takes existing characters, puts them in different situations, and sees how they develop. Vanessa's appearance doesn't change because it has it's rooted in Giovanna, who's personality was shaped prior to the changes. She sides with the Resistance because Giovanna would be unlikely to join the side that takes away her freedoms, and here methods are seen as less extreme relative to her allies, making her seem more heroic than her Primal counterpart. -
While this logic makes sense from a game design stance, it's actually the exact opposite of what happens lore wise. From a story perceptive Venessa and Giovanna come first and the carnival is an extension of their aesthetic tastes. Since Both Venessas fashion sense are likely being shaped by their respective Giovannas, who predate any of the dimensional differences we know of, there's not really any reason to expect the two to dress differently.

I took a look at the Needed Info and unless I'm missing something, I already posted the villain text for those 3:
Quote:[200-100-100-5450] Honorary Peacebringer (StrigaTF) Alien Fighter
You have stopped the Council's plan to infect the populace with Nictus aliens.
[200-100-100-5750] Protector of Kindness (ShardTF3) Destroyer of Strength
You defeated the being known as Ruladak the Strong, freeing the people of the Shadow Shard from his tyranny.
[200-100-400-5400] Liberator (EdenTR) Destroyer of Earth
You have freed the captured heroes, preventing them from becoming Devoured. -
You should re-post over in The Costume (Re)Design Thread, they've helped a lot of player with costume troubles.

Quote:Thanks, it just amazes me that this little thing that I did on a whim and took me less than an hour (Gimp Colorization tool for the win) has gotten as much attention as it has (194 downloads that I know of).Ahhh thank you Shadow State! It is an AWESOME mod, even though it's a simple little thing!
Quote:Question; what's the difference between corva and standard pogs?
The whole thing was your concept so you get full credit, especially since all I do is copy and paste. However, the artwork for ones I have linked, other than the split resist/def pog you did (I can't copy and paste to get something as nice), are actually ones I redid to use the centering I figured out while assembling the ones using Corva's pogs. The icons are moved one pixel down and to the right or the pog one up and to the left depending on if it the pog or icon artwork. Also both have some fun alternate "pogs" which allow for easier identification of IO set types and more intricate GROs pogs. The file contains .png for them if your interesting. -

Don't see why it couldn't be switched to grant 2 powers (similar to Swap Ammo granting 3), one to summon the pet and one that works like Trap's Detonator.

I found it mildly amusing when they told my character, who was just punching people, to be careful not to harm the rogue PPD while the SWAT members went full auto with their assault rifles.
