    Issue 17 lagfest

from all the stickies and post and threads going throughout its cleasr this issue was pushed out before it was ready.

everything from ati to nvidia to vista to m7 to drivers and lag spikes are happening.hell even the market is down

we are all playing the waiting game for fixes at this point...your gonna have to be one of them waiting as well.

a...not in closed beta where it would have helped.thats for fanbois

b..it was already said by the devs they know theres problems and they pushed it so there would be something and their working on it.posted the day issue 17 was pushed out.i love it when they actually admit they wernt ready but did it anyways

c..sorry man but open beta was like 1 or 2 weeks max then pushed out.i work for a living and cant be on 24/7 so i have to hope the devs dont push buggy garbage out on their customers without making sure the **** works first..clearly now even the market being down for 2 days until further notice makes your arguement even more worthless since that worked in open beta and is now dead in the water

d..some people still dont wanna go to test and do all the content before it hits live then have nothing to do...sorry you got so much time on your hands..maybe you can grab golden girl and get out of the house once in a while.
  3. i wont buy a new computer for this game..but i might for cox2. i see alot of truth in this since even you guys cant deny that the game has lost tons of subs and people come and go so much now due to lack luster issues, too many nerfs to count and the inability to do anything with a out of date engine its really in its best interest if they wanna stay employed to move onto the new stuff.

sure gr is coming out. but i think its alittle too late to be the "saving grace" if you will..

frankly just finally merging servers would be a better start to helping this game and i know alot of you wont like that but lifes tough and so is a game not making as much money anymore.it is after all a buisness first ,game 2nd

oh and someone besides castle to be the one to make these decisions..
  5. i have an ati card and getting lag then a huge crash

i tried the ati thing but um..i dont have a "ATI HotKey Poller." in my list..so now what?
  6. the crashes and bugs that came with this issue that tons of people are now having. what really gets me is how i was fine the day before issue 17..one day really does make a difference

    yeah its great alright!

shouldnt we have been warned about these things?..that way if i have to keep crashing i wouldnt have bought gr preorder yet and waited till they fixed it.

feeling really ripped off at the moment ..thanks cox! from a 6 years customer!
  7. 2 days and now stilldoing it..ill be teaming on red side doing a mish and get a huge lag spike and the game goes blank and unresponsive to where i have to hit contro/alt/delete and hit my task master to shut it down

i thought at first it might be my computer so i reformatted it last night instead of playing then it worked for like 3 mish's and i figured i was set..4th mish bam! back to crashing

im running 32 bit vista with a 1650 ati card..ati drivers up to date and computer freashly updated so what am i missing cause i havent crashed before iss 17 and im not buying a new computer

    heres my rundown

  8. my plan was to do a ds/thermal mm...but im behind now cause iss 17 didnt like my vista very much so i reformatted my computer last night* shakes fist*
  9. the time to get on said 12 est...its 12:20..stop trying..you know it always go past it !

edited time cause the 1 key doesnt work..lol

    Tank Farmer

i still break out the fire tank to farm cause it breaks up the fire/kin alittle.

great thing about it is i have many choices to farm with if i choose that way it doesnt get old.
  11. how bout when i tried buying moi for 80 mill and that was HUGE back then. and i lost cause dc took on a community pot just so i wouldnt get her

the only reason i stopped was cause i didnt want to have to do that many transactions cause we could only do 999,999 influence at a rip at the time and 80 mill was gonna take FOREVER!

    Tank Farmer

i would say it would be for drops..not everyone farms for xp ya know :P
  13. all the threads where posi and states nerfed burn
  14. came in dec 27th 2004 as coh was my xmas gift....wasnt willing to pay 50 bucks for it at the time...lol

i still remember my first teammates in the game in the hollows. it was me, emerald canary, street fighter and dazzler.ahhhh what times!

i remember wondering where all the higher lvls were after brickstown to. then got to 36 and hit the asn and went AH HA! there you all were!

i even remember my first karaken farm...i was the tank and they said go get the kraken.i said ok and i went over and punched the hydra right between the eyes and said "take that punk!" and then he punched me...whoops theres some debt!

perma hasten just by slotting 6 recharge s.o's

being able to have 5 phantasms!

when burn was actually worth taking :P
  15. way i see it if they can fit hibernate into a patron power we should already have elec fences for our tanks...yeah we all know why it was ported over for pvp blah blah..but still.
  16. when it comes to castle doing anything for fire tanks on get a aoe immob and make burn less useless i wont be holding my breath

however i just thought about it and i guess if i did respec my fire/fire tank redside that means i would lose combustion and have to pick up cremate and ilose an aoe right off the bat.no fireball but could grab an aoe from the patrons...either way though im not sure oi wanna lose combustion for cremate

you realize the reason they nerfed fire tanks so badly in the first 6 issues was because they were the best p.lersfarmers in the game right?
  18. you heard it here first..issue 18 is pony travel power!

so you saying that half the servers arent ghost towns..teaming is at a all time low and the server tokens were just "gifts" instead of a an alternative to server merging?

what color is the sky in your world?
  20. idk...hows out playerbase/subs going from last year?...hmmm kinda looks like it doesnt it?
  21. seriously two issues..one you actually had someone ask when issue 17 is?

and the 2nd issue is the fact out of all the other questions you picked this one like your doing us a favor?

who picked this question ..this question should have been ignored ..i had 2 better questions then that. and you wonder why the playerbase is dead

yes and a buff to healing flames...and this why?..because of the 14 nerfs before that...and they were small buffs...i dont even use temp protection so big deal.
