    pick up stone mastery for your epic and youll be just as tyipcal as the rest of them

  4. sorry for being late with a post but i also tried this when elec tanks came out and i was pretty successful with my elec/stone melee tank

    according to mids it IS possible to max out,however the way to do it is to use the pvp melee sets( gladiator strikes) and having enough single target melee powers to do it.( not all secondaries will work because of too many aoes)

    with stone melee i got mine to 88.15 resistance. i would have gotten to 90% however i didnt want to slot up boxing and lose 4 slots from anywhere else to do it.

    this is where i got with mine.

    as you can see i got 88.15% s/l resistance.30.15% melee defense and a recovery of 3.50.on top of that i got 24.6 kb protection which also is great with the pvp guys spamming knck out blow.i havent been knocked down yet!

    lesson here is...yes you can max him out...however itll take pvp i.o's/single target powers and slotting boxing to do it.which will take away from someplace probably more important then a couple % of resistance

  5. yeah it sounds like a slap to those who already preordered going rogue. are we not capable of such things at the start of preorder ?

    i mean yeah its great to people who might be new buying it .but to your established fanbase your kicking them down cause 90% already preordered and get nothing. who's the genious behind that?

  10. tank role is simply....taunt a mito.literally thats really it.unless your the hami taunter and thats the same thing only you get hami and have a couple healers helping you along the way.

    go in. hit a eoe and taunt hami or the mito. repeat 4 times and smash hami at the end and poof! your a star.however remember to avoid damage control from splash damage make sure your out as far as you can go so you dont hit the occasional scraper/def/troller tghat comes by taking out the mitos. however let it be known most its cause we have higher hit points and taunt more on average then a scrapper will.make sure you got enough kb too on tanks that dont have kb protection to begin with( i.e. fire and dark.).when those mitos hit you itll knock you down the entire time.


    oh and yeah turn your toggles on.
  11. we'll see if gr is the saving grace of this game.if it isnt and i suspect its alittle too late then youll see a coh2 become that much more a reality.infact maybe thats what we need is a new game to peak the interest we had 6 years ago.i mean we all know if this game was "the best ever" we would be in the toliet for a playerbase now would we?..no!

    i think you think every tank is slotted evenly.you can sit and say this is better then this and so on.

    but at the end of the day it really is about slotting.not every tank can be slotted perfectly.maybe in a one time chain combo some things are better then others.but what can be damaging in one chain can be weaker overall.recharge of powers and slotting are keys to what makes something "more powerful"

    that 6th bonus seems to be worth more then a recovery and a hp bonus perhaps.might be worth that extra 3%?
