actually i found the patch notes rather easily.....check this out...and you may ask how? I clicked the link at the top of the updater page that says Patch Updates. Granted the updates are not always listed still its worth a try.

Yea I know I bite it twice the first time around...and the DC'd the second time when we were going to fight Rom the second time. Man that sucked. Still though it was an absolutly great time for both runs.

Just wanted to update everyone on my computer issues...as it stands right now, the computer I am using has a "limited" amount of hard drive space 33 gb's to be exact and it finally dawned on me that I really wont be able to load CoH on this particular machine. So I am working on getting things straightened out and should be back in a few weeks.

getting mightily frustrated with not being able to download CoH to a different computer....first i an error pops up saying that I am either running out of space (I have over 30 Gb's of free space and a computer admin...yep using Windows XP) and then after I click ok on that I am told that the updater failed to change the City of Heroes tempfile over to CityofHeroes.exe, WTF? Come on now....I have tried the dvd disk version and tried to download it off the web and i get the same friggin errors!

I did what was stated by the previous responder and that did not correct the issue.

I keep getting this when I attempt to load CoH on a new computer. Come on Dev's I would like to be able to play on my account...

Im actually getting the checksum error when I try to install CoH on a different computer. I dunno everytime that a new issue gets released it seems to blow some things apart..... very frustrating and very tiresome.....

Since the 5th are back in the game as a group that you can kill while going through neighborhoods, I was wondering if there is a defeat badge for them.....I have looked at what has been added/adjusted in the way of badges and was thinking that the devs might have slipped this past everyone......

I would like to join this....however it seems like the list is full......I would really like to get this badge for Sevenpenny (my lvl 50 scrapper/main badger). If I need to wait til next time so be it.

The reason that your toon is "bright and shiny" has to do with your graphics setting in game. When you first log your toon in go to Menu (which should give the drop down box)/ then select options/ and the last tab under options is graphics and audio(?) (I think its audio, dont hold me to that, graphics is definetly listed on the tab though) and there should be a graphics setting which more than likely is set on recommended.....slide that all the way down and the click apply settings and your issue with the bright and shiny toon will be solved.

I believe I typically get that message when I am trying to get into my SG base. It hasnt been because of updates etc....

I do not know why this happens, however wanted to add that this has occurred to me as well on several occassions.

As I said in my other post about the Rikti invasion, I am pretty much taking a break from gaming. From the previous times trying to log in and the hassle of it....no thanks, I can skip that weekend, I would rather take my time than worry about how many different archtypes I can possibly get to level 50 in a weekend.

well with me pretty much taking a break from CoH and gaming in general I might just skip this and I know that double xp will be a mighty pain in my azz to even log in so I may skip that weekend too. Oh well just make sure my toons are parked somewhere and are able to work on a dayjob badge that they dont have.

As the first response stated go to whatever server you play on and set it up that way. If you do play on the Freedom server there will be a certain person that will typically be running TF's on monday nights and this is one of the TF's that gets done.

The only thing that 10 times the victor has ever given out as a reward is the witch hat. So what exactly is that argument here? Its not like this accolade gives you 5 percent to your health/endurance or some snazzy power, you get a hat end of story.

Why re-design this TF? So you can carry around a badge saying that you were (x) times the victor until you hit 10? That is just tedious.....
