Hehehe, thanks guys! I, too, think that SL in undies and Young Drum are the two best looking toons I've come up with.

And I kinda have to make the nemeses, even if I hardly play them. Otherwise it's only half the story! I do the same thing Ironik. My villains are like, "I will rob this bank! Then build a base! Then construct my army! Then duel my nemesis as soon as my player can get a second computer and more deskspace! Muahahahaha!"

I like this whole character posting thing. Someone suggested a centralized thread for it, that's a pretty good idea. Maybe you should start it up Marty!

I'm a big fan of King of Spades myself.

I too am an altoholic. I'm addicted to altohol.

These are all my toons worth mentioning. I just wanted to play like everybody else.

HEROES:

Serengeti Lord – My favorite toon and lovable catboi. SS/Invul tank.

Decibela – My one lady toon that’s endured, the French/American hottie. Sonic/Sonic defender.

Young Drum – A fascination of late, and Decibela’s younger brother. Sonic/Energy blaster.

Father Inferno(second costume) – The best bio I’ve written for a toon belongs to this guy, I think. Fire/Fire blaster.

Exosteel – Myself transposed into the world of comics. The character’s appearance (when I draw him) is based on my own. MA/Invul scrapper.

Dark Totem – Avenging spirit of a fallen hero. Dark/dark scrapper

Eire Avenger – I love Ireland. Wanna fight about it? MA/regen scrapper

Mind Frog – I was so amused by the character that I can’t delete him. Mind/kinetics controller.

Ionix – A recent creation. Blinded in his old age by his own power of storing electricity in his body, the suit he now wears allows him to sense the flow of electricity around him. By sending out gentle pulses of electrical energy, he can “see” again. Unfortunately, it’s back to Remedial Crime-fighting 101 for this guy, as he has to relearn to use his powers and sight.

VILLAINS

Cyborg Vesuvius – A Decibela/Young Drum villain.

Everwar – Nemesis of a deleted toon named Eternal Guardsman.

CerbeRuse – A ninja doggy. And SL villain concept.

Everrage – The monstrous nemesis of Exosteel.

The Wasting – My final SL villain concept. A big game hunter who was incapable of bringing down the Serengeti Lord makes a pact with dark forces that SL has thwarted in the past. Now, with their combined power, they hunt for the fiercest prey on the planet…

Bone Wasp – Assassin extraordinaire. When I play him I have to shout “BONE WASP!” in a Freddy Mercury style rock scream.

All Hallow – My Halloween themed villain.

Hehe, that's neat, man. Reminds me of the Wallace and Grommit movie.

For super undefined stuff I like to create a new layer, and just kinda slap on some color, get the basic shape of light and shadow in the smoke or whatever. Then I smudge the hell out of it in a circular motion. Seems to work pretty well.

Dynamic Anatomy and Dynamic Figure Drawing by Burne Hogarth are great, as is Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards. What I also have found has helped me is to find an artist I like and imitate them. Maybe at first I won't understand the lines I'm drawing, but eventually I do, and if I can pick up just one element of figure drawing or perspective or, really, anything from the excercise, then that's one more element that I didn't know before.
