    What.

Scott was totally gung-ho for blowing up the hospital. He only lets you stop the bombing because he needs to keep you undercover. This has been repeated over and over in this thread.
  2. Y'know, I like the idea of Dark Astoria going through cycles of darkness. It makes the zone's foreboding seem that much more sinister. Even if the heroes were able to heal it, how long before its plummeted into darkness again?

I could totally see him doing that.
  4. Calvin Scott is Maximilien Robespierre. There's no doubt in my mind that he'd have his own Reign of Terror after deposing Emperor Cole. What Praetoria really needs is a George Washington.

Not that I'm aware of, but their lore implies that she tried to get them under her thumb once though. It didn't pan out because of some protestors.

    Quote:
Their initial headquarters was in the area now known as Faultline. It was destroyed by unknown attackers in power armor. Countess Crey stood up to back them and their new headquarters in May 1999, but public protests by both citizens and heroes, including the famous Hero 1, prevented them from starting construction on a new headquarters in Baumton. They abandoned the plans in October of 1999, retreating into relative obscurity for a time.

The multiverse is at the mercy of an insane god that, by its very nature, cannot be defeated. And you thought the Arachnos omnipresence in CoV was bad. (Well ok, maybe you didn't, but a lot of people did.)
I was more disturbed by Longbow's omnipresence. I mean, here there's the PPD, the Legacy Chain, and Wyvern and how often do they show up? Only a few arcs here and there if you're lucky to run into them. And why the hell do we never see Hero Corps?

What about an alternate Stephan Richter?

Um? How so? I run into the Spectral Daemon Lord a lot pre-20 villainside.

I have a love-hate relationship with that arc. I love the story it tells, but hate that there's three EBs throughout it, one (Metalshift) that you have to fight twice.

There's EBs sprinkled liberally everywhere villainside pre-40 too.

  17. It's actually more of a character flaw.
  18. One of my characters is supposed to be a host body for Erishkigal.

So ... arrogance means dumb? I'm pretty sure arrogance is more of a pride issue actually.

  21. Yeah, let's see you build a time machine or a giant forcefield that engulfs the city and then we'll talk about "smart."

Yeah, Longbow's probably the most villainous organization we fight.
