One thought I have about hasten (and granted I've only taken mine to 16 so far): Don't think of it in terms of hasten as "perma"-hasten all or nothing. I think this combo is one that you can take hasten and super-speed (as your movement power) and just leave hasten be with a single slot. You're not significantly more uber with perma-hasten, but hasten can still have value for your larger powers and the defense buff in boss fights and such, even if you never add a slot. Don't discount the value hasten can have, but don't think that you have to 6 slot it if you take it, either.

Seems like everybody has this mind set that hasten must be 6-slotted or nothing, but it doesn't have to be, and I think this power set combo is a good example of that.

Thought I'd post this list of major NPC heroes and villains I've compiled.

Handy for editting demos to include the villains or heroes of your choice.


www.cityofvillans.com has some of these and many more mobs but I've noticed many of the big NPCs or archvillains are listed under different names (I think they're extracted from editted demos), so I put this list together for my own reference. Most are pretty self evident, but what the heck. If anyone has ones I'm missing, a PM with the model names would be welcome.

Combat Jumping and Super Jump have always been mutually exclusive. At least with every character with them that I've played. Activating one automatically deactivates the other.

Also, the Hero Corps woman outside the hospital in Steel Canyon works. Forget her name. (At least I got some hero corp badge for getting near her, and pretty sure it was the same one).

Great guide.

Was wondering if anyone had a download link to piggviewer to go with it. They've all gone poof off the boards because of the mods, but it'd still be a useful just for editting demos (being able to look up what's what in order to make changes).

EDIT: I'm assuming here that it will just let me see the code lines which I could edit in the demo to change models, FXs, etc. If piggviewer doesn't do that, then nevermind.
