Roiboos, chai spice, coffee, or iced tea generally. Occasionally soda water with fruit juice added. All of the previous drinks sweetened or caffeinated to whatever level i currently desire.
i very occasionally buy energy drinks. Usually whatever brand i see that i've never tried before. 90% of the time or more they're vile nearly beyond description. Which hasn't stopped me from drinking them anyway. -

Tried that, and after 40 minutes of fixing files anyway the client crashed again when i tried to start it. i'm done trying for now since it takes well over 20 minutes for each attempt. Maybe tomorrow there will be a quicker method or a fix.

Goths (though perhaps not the "black metal is real goth" crowd) would be more likely to listen to "cure" than any emo.

Anyway, i find changing animation speeds/times, or even just changing power animations, to be terribly unlikely as a customization feature since it figures so heavily into power design and balance. i do expect there might be color and other effects customization, but i'll wait until i hear more about what will be in Going Rogue before i actually expect it. -

i'll be doing the same if the updater's fix fails. For now i'd just copied over the missing files in the main folder. -
All the .dll files were missing from the test folder after downloading the new patch. i copied them all over from the live version and it crashed midway through launching the test client. It's now fixing a bunch of .pigg files. If everyone else's experiences are anything to go by i fully expect it to crash again as soon as it's done.

Honestly, it takes a bit of effort to achieve stretching it to anything like 20', and under normal combat conditions it isn't usually easy to look for while fighting. That combined with varying latency makes it hard to be sure that what you saw is what actually happened. i think the recently increased range of melee attacks makes it much easier to notice, and also to stretch it a bit farther. It's not something that's easy to do for every spawn and takes a bit of luck to achieve, so i don't think it's really much of an exploit or game-breaking and personally i'm not going to worry too much about whether i'm hitting too many enemies with an attack.
There are many "cheats" used by players and mobs that take advantage of the game engine, and this hardly seems a major one to me. The ability of an entire spawn to instantaneously turn and return fire when first attacked is more immersion-breaking to me.Or how Freaks, the tanks especially, are fairly easy to embed head-first into walls and other objects, leaving them flailing helplessly while you beat them unconscious.

Same here. i have noticed a couple occasions where movement as you triggered a cone seemed to effectively increase its range and arc, but i always thought it was just an artifact of latency while player and mobs are moving. Now i'll have to actively tinker with it and see if i can reproduce this. -

In many ways my DM/Nin and Elec/Nin play very differently. The former solos very well, but the latter is deadly on teams. -

It isn't ED2.0 coming it is diminished returns. Just look to the pve idea test bed known as pvp. Diminished returns tackles all the problems the devs have been rumbling about.

Pve'ers are going to scream bloody murder when DR hits them, just like pvp'ers did. It won't hit pve quite as hard though as the environment is less min-max by nature, but people will be PO'd for sure.

Isn't issue 15 adding the option to remove heal decay from arena matches or something? Effectively allowing you to repeal one of "new PVP's" least liked features? (Haven't checked this out myself, but a friend in game was talking about how this option was going to renew his interest in PVP...)
i15 is not especially exciting to me, but i hardly consider it to be making the game worse.
