Don't recall seeing any Freaks in Independence Port... Tsoo, Council, Family, Devouring Earth, Giant Octopus...
[/ QUOTE ]
Freaks show up in IP, but generally just as single minions or lieutenants negotiating with Family. -
Terra Volta has lots of Freaks. Also a good number of DE near the reactor.

Who do I talk to for an AURA costume part? I forgot...please respond
Thanks

At level 30+...
Redside: Talk to your starting contact in Mercy Island.
Blueside: Talk to the City Representative inside the lobby of City Hall in Atlas Park.
[i]Edit: Bah! Curse you, Fleeting_Whisper, currrrse you! -
You receive a varying number of merits for completing a TF/SF/Trial or for completing a story arc (if it's your arc), and you get 2 merits every time you get credit for defeating a giant monster.
At a merit vendor you can roll for a random rare IO set recipe for 20 merits, or you can buy the exact recipe you want for a much higher price. You can also get other stuff, but it's the recipes that are most useful. (IMO of course.) -

I gave him 20 Ribos (the old ones) as it seems there are new ones and the older ones are useless lol
[/ QUOTE ]
Eh, what?
Ribos are Ribos, they have not changed. There are no "new Ribos". There are alternate Ribos with slightly different names, but they still do the exact same thing.
If you're actually referring to IO's it's not comparing Ribos to Ribos, it's more like comparing apples to fruit salad. Set IO's enhance multiple aspects of a power, like an HO, but not to the same level as an HO. In some cases each (IO or HO) can be more effective. -

Pretty sure. It's the home network on CoX New England.

Seems odd for a home network with just a standard router to give that error.

Although you may want to wait so you can have the costume options at creation so you dont have to wait for a higher level and visit ICON for a costume change.
[/ QUOTE ]
You don't have to wait for a higher level to make a costume change. i've visited the tailor/facemaker at level 5 to change costumes. It's also cheaper the sooner you do it. As your level increases the costs increase far more.
If you have any vet badges you will receive at least one free costume token as well. -

well im about to buy the cyborg pack and has a cyborg concept in mind.. well this new toon need to all a concept due to a very useful/good build..
so.. im doubt of 3 of them:
first is a blaster ar/dev/munitions
second a corruptor ar/trap/mace
third a SoA(bane)
this cyborg doesnt have powers.. its just a half human half robot with weapons, traps, etc thats why im not getting others AT and powers.. thought that a MM robot/trap could be nice but i really dont enjoy sit and see my robots killing while toon watch :/
im in doubt of the origin science or technology, maybe a science fits more nice to cyborg since is kinda a experiment, not sure..
of those 3 AT and powers wich is the better when talking about soloing, good at teaming, i mean useful at a team..
one more thing ill create this toon today, but will buy the cyborg pack in a week.. will this toon get the destruction power and cyborg costume pieces since i will get the pack after create it? or i need to create the toon after getting the pack?
thnx!
[/ QUOTE ]
Cyborgs are generally considered technological. You really can't be more quintessentially technological for a superbeing than a cyborg, experimental or not.
All characters get access to everything in the cyborg pack after you buy it, so there's no need to wait.
[i]Edit: Also, any abilities that come from being a cyborg are powers by definition. Saying you don't have powers because you're a cyborg is like Shazam saying, "I don't have powers, it's just my magic word (that turns me into Earth's mightiest mortal) that has powers." Unless of course your powers are entirely devices you carry around to use, and your cybernetics are just to correct a handicap or look cool and actually do nothing significant. -

Single Pistol Corruptor. Unless, of course, it clones itself when drawn. Hell, he's a god's avatar, he should be able to reroll as a Quad Pistols Corruptor...
It's not like any of the players need backpacks, holsters or slings to carry their weaponry. -

Didn't Posi say we weren't getting more slots?
[/ QUOTE ]
Correct. But if I recall correctly he said it in a way that didn't conflict with the concept of universal enhancement slots. Someone will dig up the exact quote but it was something like "we won't raise the level cap, and you won't be getting more slots for your powers." And universal enhancement slots are not slots for your powers. They're something new.
[/ QUOTE ]
I love when they do that.
Statesman: There will be no more nerfs to powers.
<ED happens>
Statesman: It's a change to enhancements, not the powers.
[/ QUOTE ]
So universal enhancement slots would be sort of like the ED kerfuffle, but in reverse?
Which does raise an amusing thought: The Devs have occasionally tested new mechanics and powers in game in limited ways, by doing things like giving new power types to NPC's or making them temporary powers for players to use. It would be interesting if Mystic Fortune powers were test versions of the sort of bonuses/powers universal enhancements would grant. Hypothetically speaking. -
Another 12 months down, an indeterminate number to go to the next milestone.
Congratulations. -

Given that Japan is in fact Japan, you can never be sure.
[/ QUOTE ]
If you encounter a futa catgirl in heat, back away slowly. Do not make eye, or any other type of, contact.
If they follow you try to run past a large tentacle monster. Tentacle monsters "attack" futa catgirls on sight, and should give you time to escape.
This has been a public (fan) service announcement. -

Numbers are cool and all, but it really is pvp easy mode, and this a thread about pvp. I am not saying omg nerf it. I will say you can face roll with one and do pretty decent though. Yes I have one, yes I play it, yes I will continue to play it.
[/ QUOTE ]
Heh.
That's all I've got to say to that. Good day.
[/ QUOTE ]
Hey, it's not like numbers have anything to do with actual gameplay, right?
<.<
>.>
Exactly. -
Fly is a perfectly viable travel power in its own right. It's been years since Fly's endurance cost was higher than base endurance recovery. Now it's downright cheap to use.
Not one of my alts with Fly bothers adding endurance reduction unless it's for set bonuses. Just remember to turn it off or switch to Hover in when in combat. Which is pretty much the same as remembering to turn off Sprint when fighting while playing a lowbie.
My 50 Grav/Storm never shuts off Hover, never. Then again i use Teleport for long distance travel. For combat maneuvering and traveling inside missions Hover is more than fast enough once slotted up. -

Fixed a bug where cones could hit significantly more enemies than intended.
[/ QUOTE ]
Could we get some clarification on what, exactly, this means? Were cone powers hitting more than the target cap, cones being a larger size than intended, the 'cone warp' due to movement?
[/ QUOTE ]
The 'cone warp' due to movement.
[/ QUOTE ]
So i guess it was unintended and fixable. Assuming the fix works correctly, that is. It would probably be a good idea to test it and make sure it didn't bork melee cones in some way. -

Had that happen on a Manticore TF (with only one defender, no controllers, whee). We had been doing it for hours, since we didn't have a very good combo of players and almost everyone was min level. Finally, 6am, we were on the last mission and finished it. Everyone left the mission except the leader. i was literally falling asleep at keyboard myself and some of the other members said the same thing.
It ended up okay, though. After we waited around and talked about it for 30min or so the guy woke up and left the mission then called it in. i know several of the guys were already asleep, but there was no reason not to just stay online at that point and wait for the leader.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, once you complete the final mission and exit you already have the badge and rewards; there is no reason to wait for the leader to call it in at that point unless you really want to do so. Even if you just quit or log out the game won't suddenly revoke your rewards once they've been granted. -

Wait, so you didn't allow your girlfriend to go to Thailand (apparently spelled Tailand in France) just so you could post on the boards? (i mean you just said you laughed and woke her up, so obviously she didn't get to go...)
That is cold. i mean, you've already boasted many times about how incredibly rich and successful you are, but you won't let her go by herself? Is she under the age of majority or something?
Inquiring minds don't really care, but do anticipate the incoherent lulz of any reply.
