Does anyone have a link to a gallery/site that shows the Rikti as they appeared at launch?

i was thinking about the various improvements to the game's appearance since launch and i consider the Rikti one of the most dramatic examples.

Easy to forget about it if you don't have the badge. Even Mids' planner doesn't support the option yet. i've got a couple characters who have used the "skip the travel power prerequisite" option, so i expect it a little bit more. One of my Defenders has Combat Jumping and Fly.

Well, something was giving me XP, inf and inspirations every time one dropped, and at 38 not many things in Steel that are airborne can do that.

So... that was 18 ships?
And when the hell did they start giving rewards? (Which is good since there's a fair bit of work to defeating them.)

Actually, Dark Defenders are not known for taking down AV's, at least not solo. Also, a Dark Defender has very little lockdown capability vs. an AV unless you mean lockdown in a different sense than normal. Regardless, defeating an AV four times in 60 seconds implies an effective DPS far beyond what most AT's would normally be capable of when solo*, much less a Dark/Dark Defender.

*i tend to define solo as meaning without assistance from other players. Even with nukes and Shivans i have my doubts about a D3 defeating an AV four times in a minute without exploiting some sort of glitch. However, i am willing to witness this and concede error.

Make it simpler: they turn into a crate or cardboard box. While hidden the Gadget Stalker also sees question marks over enemy heads that turn into exclamation points if they can detect him.

Between RL keeping me out of the game and then joining some friends on an Invincible Dr. Quaterfield TF i was only able to help take down one dropship in Sharkhead. Still, it was awesome watching it break apart over the Arachnos fortress.

A bunch of Pingus are currently running an Invincible Dr. Quaterfield. Well, not "currently" exactly. Started it late last night, got halfway and will be finishing it tonight.

The body count on both sides has been impressive. Not so much a "defeat all" approach as much as it's mostly been a "defeat any enemies you encounter" approach.

i've found some of her claims sort of odd myself. She will assert that ordinary content that i solo without difficulty with any AT is hard, and then claim she solos one of the tougher foes in the game in an absurdly short time. To me the fact that she refuses to reveal her secret method implies that she's either exploiting a bug/glitch or lying, but that was already suggested in the original thread.

i'm not disappointed at all. In my opinion Veteran Rewards should either be very minor perks or automatically granted versions of powers/costume pieces/whatever non veterans can earn/craft/unlock.

Looking forward to trying the 63 month one in several weeks.

Instead of transparent...which could be confused with invisibility and stealth, would it be possible for them to switch to an inverse color spectrum...like where whites become blacks and the other colors are inverted...like a photo negative (i know that color transformation has a name but I'm not sure what it is off the top of my head). I think it would look cool and be a pretty clear indicator that its phased. Or at least some other kind of indication to not confuse it with stealth.

i really like this idea if it's possible to implement. Inverting or otherwise shifting phased enemy colors would be a better cue than making them more transparent.

My personal opinion is that if vet rewards continue to be added then they should be temp powers, costume pieces or the like that can also be unlocked/acquired in game by non-vets.

As for Reveal: it interests me only to the extent it can remove fog of war from zone maps. On mission maps i don't find that a useful ability.

i don't. Admittedly i can recognize most of them almost immediately, but i don't have every single map layout memorized. There's a lot of them, even if they're made from the same basic modules for the most part. Also, some maps start the same, but then diverge in their layouts. There are some city zones (Shadow Shard) that i haven't completely mapped on my alts either.

Overall i'll probably find Reveal more useful than the 60 month reward. On most alts i don't take travel powers until the twenties anyway.

Purchased the pack. The new pieces and emotes are excellent. i have a couple power armor themed alts that will be switching between their normal model and huge. (Or possibly just gaining height and bulk, will have to tinker before i decide.)

A bit unhappy that the tailor screen animations are still broken. i have enough characters with wings and/or auras that is will be rather annoying. Since it's apparently not occurring with the other builds in the pipeline i hope we get another patch soon.
