Quote:Generally set bonuses are always on as long as your combat level is -3 or higher when compared to the set's IO levels. Except for Purples, which function at all levels. The power also has to be available at your current level.I'm not at all sure if I'm posting this in the right place or not, but I've been curious about this so here goes. Do your set bonuses get shut off when you get mezzed? I'm curious because I was playing my Fire/Fire blaster last night, who has over 30% ranged defense from set bonuses. Does he lose that when mezzed, or is it an 'always on' kind of thing?

Your contacts have degrees on the politics, culture and technology of a very recently discovered dimension? Damn, the Paragon City Universities have an unfair advantage if they're using time machines to start degree programs concerning alternate worlds years before they're even discovered.
Quote:Also, doesn't matter what you say, you're not going to convince me that blue... thing... should be called a clockwork -

Quote:So your contacts don't know any better, what with spending all their time standing on street corners, but if you go look for yourself:My contacts tell me that they're Clockwork. They're from Praetoria. Therefore, they're Praetorian Clockwork
*Ahem*
AntiMatter equipped his creations with the ability to generate energy and channel it into attacks. Although they appear somewhat similar to Neuron's minions and to Clockwork of Primal Earth, they are mechanical constructs and obey only the master of radiation.
The basic model of minion designed by Neuron was originally blueprinted to be a laboratory assistant. It is excellent at following simple commands and would have been well suited for tasks a scientist did not have the time or muscle for. Neuron quickly realized that the metallic minions could be used as attack drones and adapted his plan on the fly. -

It sort of makes sense to, y'know, not try to encourage people to put even more load on the servers until they've had time to find and fix most of the stability-affecting bugs in the new issue that didn't show up until it was exposed to the loads of multiple live servers. Just a thought.

That was input. It was as much input as the idea merited, it just wasn't the input you wanted. This is not a new topic by any means, and if it was added as a new vet reward you'd still be at least two years from getting it.
Quote:Hey Cox universe! It's the Protector born, Freedom migrant who everyone love/hates to read from
Perhaps you're a frequent poster on the Protector and/or Freedom boards, but the server forums aren't quite as widely read as the main sections. Expecting to be recognized by "everyone" is presumptuous at best, delusional and egotistical at worst. i post regularly in many sections of the forums and have no expectation of being immediately recognized. (If i'm lucky.)

Quote:Those are not Clockwork. They're robots using the same basic model as the Clockwork Dukes with different textures, but they are regular robots built by Anti-Matter and Neuron if you read the descriptions, and have nothing directly to do with the Clockwork King. By that standard most NPC's running around Paragon City and the Etoile Islands are actually Mother Mayhem's minions. After all, they don't even have a different texture set. (Which might explain why they're totally indestructible.)That's a matter of opinion. There's also the fact that we already have Praetorian clockwork (in both radiation and electric varieties).

Quote:A distaff version of Stryker's delusions of grandeur was missing from the boards? Really?Did you hear that? You all RUINED PvP!!!
Welcome back Felecia!!! (I knew something was missing from the boards lately)
Oh, also the just plain delusions and incomprehension of nuance in general, and the game's mechanics in particular, but without Skyppy's functionally illiterate writing style.
Well at least F_D still supplies the Bungee of Conclusion Jumping. (And a mighty bouncy bungee it is.)

Has anyone come up with a customized color scheme for Dark Miasma and Dark Blast that emulates the coloring of the Soul Mastery powers?

Quote:Chomp a few yellows and that Stalker suddenly becomes a lot less hard to see.Just as another thought since it was only one person attacking you maybe get a base buff before you enter zone and have some greens on you, and try fighting back you might actually like it.
Caltrops is another old favorite. (Caltrops not available to all sets. Offer void when servers are offline.) -

Quote:Except that any halfway competent PvPer will have the Hyper Phase temp power that you can get by doing the patrol in Warburg and will phase when you phase. Also you could pick up an Ethereal Shift recipe at Wentworths.
There not really expensive and will make you Intangible for (30 Seconds).
That's normally plenty of time to power up or get away, and can be used five times.
You can get one yourself and play a brief game of "phase tag" while running away. Being a repeatable patrol mission reward (though you can only get it 5 times) Hyper Phase costs less than Ethereal Shift, and you aren't stuck phased, so when your opponent phases to continue killing you can delay him for another couple of seconds by unphasing. Ethereal Shift leaves you phased until the charge/"buff" expires (in 30 seconds), so it's less tactically useful.
Hyper Phase is a toggle, Ethereal Shift is a click. Toggles you can choose much more easily when to stop using them.(Stroke Victim Smiley agrees with me.)

i sort of like that idea. A hard task/strike force that gives a chance of getting a random purple would be pretty cool. i'm thinking a drop table that has SHOEs and Purples. Even the current "Master of" T/SF's are really only hard if you PuG it, so it would be the perfect way to justify adding at least one new T/SF.

Quote:Ah, then Founders' Falls has a Science store in the person of Mark IV and a Magic store with Penny. Though only if you're interested buying the lowest grade enhancements sold for that level range. The Wiki is correct, Holsten Armitage is a Science store that has Dual origins, which cover Tech because Sci/Tech is an option. He is in the Eastern part of the zone, behind the Zig prison.
Also, i didn't realize that they would give their unlock missions to characters of different origin types. -
