Quote:Well, i have at least 6 or 7 50s i rarely play at all, so those will not be going Incarnate for some time. For me the answer is no. I have a lot of 50's just that I cant see everyone of them becoming an incarnate. Its like I see my many guys like a Justice League. Sure there are a LOT of really power guys in the Justice League but there is ONE Superman... ONE Green Lantern... Kind of like that..
SO I find myself selecting certain 50's being elected to Incarnate status.
Anyone else going this way ??? -
Quote:Try here. Can anyone please tell me where to find a copy of mids that has i19 additions? (somewhere safe and virus free please
)
ty!
Edit: It says support for issue 18, but it's actually updated to include issue 19's inherent Fitness as well. The incarnate stuff isn't built into it yet, but AFAIK no version or mod has that yet. -
Quote:As i recall it checks against all enemies inside its radius when it first hits an enemy and every ten seconds after that it checks again against each enemy in range.OK, my understanding of the game mechanics are somewhat limited, and I've been getting differing opinions from players ingame... If I slot Force Bubble with the Force Feedback Chance for +Recharge proc, when and how often does it have a chance to activate? Every 10 seconds? Every time Force Bubble hits an enemy?
Any help is appreciated. -

i'd suggest Crab Spider VEAT, but i'm afraid that it's solidly in the box, so i guess right now i don't have a suggestion. Still, it's fun on ITFs to just hover over Rommy and wait for him to get back up instead of running for cover.

And yet Dark Miasma is still a favorite of mine. It has -res, -regen, -damage and -tohit in addition to a pet that brings more of the same (except for no -res from the pet), so it's not completely useless against an AV.

Nicely written. This post will help educate new players who happen to read them. Of course there's a whole section just to deliver this sort of information, so in a sense posts like yours are really more useful to counter misinformation.
Still, nicely written. -
Ah, was just speculating that it was the internal (variable) name for displaying the pool that was being displayed due to an error.
-
Also VEATs. My punked-out Crab loves spewing all over groups of enemies.
Since it appeared where the inherent Fitness pool usually does i wonder if Temporal Freem Overthruster is the placeholder/name used by the client for inherent Fitness. -

i've enjoyed what i've seen so far. The new TFs are rather fun, but it's the psychological effects on the playerbase that i enjoy the most so far. The sheer diversity of high level TFs being run and the lack of emphasis on skipping as much of the TF as possible when on PuGs has been a good thing in my opinion.
Incarnate shards drop often enough from enemies that they are a greater incentive to fight the enemies in the missions than purples have been. i've also seen more people getting purples because they're bothering to fight more enemies.
The alpha slot capabilities are handy for many builds while not being overpowering. It's basically a universal enhancement slot like the one that was mentioned in that survey from a few years ago. What really interests me is seeing what the other nine Incarnate slots that have been planned so far will do.

Eh, i remember back when she was ranting on about how useless Darkest Night is. Apparently she thought it was a single target debuff that had a huge taunt effect or something. Which is understandable if you never read power descriptions and don't pay attention when you use powers. Ah, memories... good times.

Quote:It was an odd and easily tested assertion. i knew that beginner's luck was working because i usually have the most relevant real numbers (generally tohit, recovery rate, regeneration rate, recharge rate, perception radius and a few others depending on AT) displayed in a corner of the screen. Mostly to monitor debuffs. The beginner's luck is inherent to the player not their staring faction. If you are below level 20, you get Beginner's Luck, period.
i've been enjoying inherent Fitness quite a lot on my lower level alts. Which i haven't played much this so far weekend due to the whole Incarnate thing distracting me. -

Quote:*huh* And to think i would've just done a bunch of rolls and then sold off any unneeded recipes on the market and then bought the Thunderstrike recipes from there. Actually purchasing each of the recipes with merits when they're relatively affordable uncommons on the market seems slightly demented. How many merits did those Thunderstrikes cost? Did you buy them individually from the merit vendor?
Unless of course he's completely opposed to the idea of buying stuff from other people for some reason. All the advice given for using Thunderstrikes was based on the premise that they would be acquired on the market. Hell, most of the time i bid on the already crafted ones for convenience's sake. -

Quote:i think the team i did it with last night just stacked up an obscene amount of immobilization to lock him in place. The invisible mine layers can be repelled or destroyed by pets and non-targeted AoE effects. Having +res and healing is good too, since Director 11 hits hard even if his mines don't get to you.He does or did (in beta) have a power that gave him, per my Power Analyzer III, mag 30 immobilize protection. Apparently it isn't always "toggled" on and a bunch of folks spamming various immobilizes should potentially overcome it as well. I have not monitored or attempted to since i19 went live.
The mines also have better than +12 knockback on them ... which often sent my squishies sailing into other mined areas. -
A bug i've only just noticed is that Mids' currently has a tendency to set IO levels to 30 seemingly at random when changing around slotting. i'll open a build, reorder some of the IOs in some powers, and the new IOs will frequently be set to 30 even if the set goes to 53.

Quote:It can happen with any character 47 or higher as long as they aren't set below +0. 48 or higher if they're set to -1. (Unless of course i19 changed the drop rules for purples.)You need to get a character to level 50. Seriously, it will solve many of your problems.
For example, Today I logged on Biospark and did my 5 tip missions set to +0/x2 cause I was not feeling like working too hard and got a purple recipe (Ragnarok iirc), sold it for 400million. This cannot happen with a character that is below level 50.
Quote:Finally! I've told you to get Thunderstrike in every thread like this, even this one.
Thunderstrike is cheap and awesome.
It gives you bonus recovery, and global accuracy so you don't waste end by missing.
It carries the equivalent of 3 Dam, 2 Acc, 2 End Redux and 3 recharge in the powers its slotted in. (Almost 2 of each...)
It will cap your Ranged Defence on a FF Defender.
Do it do it do it! Six slot Power Blast, Power Bolt and Power Burst with this, change nothing else and tell me you don't feel the difference!
