  1. Simple answer: you'd need to have a US IP address
  2. What about IO set naming in GR?

If you are able to start off in Praetoria, would sets like "Positron's Blast" (and other such sets that derive from a "Primal Earth" character, but have a different Praetorian counterpart), still exist, or would they have the counterpart's name? eg: Anti-Matter's Blast
  3. Villain side has "The Missing Maidens" story arc from Jezebel Jones in St. Martial, but being a 35-39 arc, it might not produce Illusionists (lvl40+ ?)

Thus, if you merely parrot what the masses are saying in order to be seen as one of them, this would not do very much to increase your rep. To get a vast amount of positive rep requires a lot of work to stroke the egos of the masses to make them all feel like special little snowflakes. This in part is why you'd end up collecting a fan base around you if you got that far in the first place.
I totally agree. I've experienced the same thing in IT for the last ...... years. Last to get thanked, first to get smited (smote?). I guarantee IT isn't the only area that experiences this

On the other hand, when hunting them with my Hero, I just got a few people together in Recluse's Victory when the zone was empty, grabbed all three heavies, parked about a hundred yards away from the Villain base and had a Blaster pull groups of several Mu Guardians at once. It went very quickly. (Of course, other than that, you're restricted to finding them in radio missions, PVP zone missions and the Statesman TF.)
They can also be found in The Bulge & Pavia - RWZ (as well as Paragon Protectors & Toxic Tarantulas), but you might have to do a lot of travelling around in circles

  14. If I'm a villain in a VG, and I decide to go blueside via morality arcs, will I still remain in the VG, or will there come a point where, in the morality arc, it will flag up stating that if you progress any further you will lose all ties to your VG?

    ....and vice-versa
  15. login servers are prolly down. I can't connect either
  16. got about 40ish protectors from the whole Escaped! arc running at -1/8
  17. on starting a new female character, I noticed the sinister shoulder pieces were set behind the character. I didn't explore this further, but the character I created was a 4' female dark/dark scrapper, and was wearing the witch lace top, if that helps. (can post a screenie if needed)

It gives pretty good defences, as well as some nice procs etc. Not exactly cheap, but a goal nonetheless. Having not actually played /storm at all (or ninja tbh), I couldn't tell you how effective this build would be. It's just something knocked up at work while passing the time (something I do a lot of when bored)

    Teleport Badges?

need to be in SG mode
  20. I've found pet response/charging can alter day by day. Eg: 1 day both protbots were charging off, the next day 1 protbot and 1 drone, then the day after the assbot, 1 protbot and 1 drone went charging.

They don't always charge up to the group of mobs you're focused on either. In quite a few RWZ mishes I've done, the pet charges past the attacking group and ranges from the other side. In large cave areas where there are 3 groups of mobs, this action tends to aggro the entire area, and trust me its not fun when running at x8, especially when 2 pets do it simultaneously, going in totally different directions.

And as for commanding them, I occasionally have to spam my macros 5-6 times each to get any response - not sure if this is a latency issue tbh, but I tend not to get that much in the game as a whole.
  21. * Mastermind pets will now incorporate the new AI based on shopping trolley wheel technology (nb: implemented in i6)
  22. I actually started up a dark/dark scrapper recently, and after looking at Desmodo's guide build, I did some tinkering with Mids and came up with this...

  23. Yup the pet AI is pretty bad at times. Ever tried keeping bots in 1 spot without moving? They simply cannot, unless you spam the stay command about 6 times. In fact I find my self spamming all my command macros several times before my pets actually do what I want.

    MM = Macromasher
  24. Shame He's normally pretty good, but since I rebuilt to tankermind, 0x8 mishes makes him go a little more wild with all the more critters. It sometimes feels as if I'm more of his pet, as I tend to have to follow him when he runs off into a thick soup of mobs, just so I can keep him alive. This can sometimes play havoc with my bots too.
