This is indeed great news. Yesterday I seemed to owe loads of rent. Can I expect it to be reduced once I've logged on today?

I've got a lvl 45 blaster (Scarlet Shocker) and she's in dire need of a respec. Fortunately I've got my free respec to do it but previous respecs haven't worked for me. I've never managed to stop her being totally squishy, nor is her damage anything to write home about

Any tips you can give would be greatly appreciated

Crafted control items in general arent worth it (until you get to advanced databases etc). The only reason to have holo displays, mega monitors etc is to save energy, not create more control, as the energy-to-control ratio is better with the crafted ones.

If you want more control, simply add databases on top of the mainframe. When you cant get any more databases, the only real option is to save prestige for the unlocked supercomputer which will solve control problems for a while. After that its about getting advanced databases etc and ultimately the autonomous expert system.

Am I missign something? I thought you could only have one database and computer?

Our problem was getting the right amount of units sorted - By juggling and making a few sacrifices I've managed to put in a bigger control room but I have to say the base editing interface and instructions are not at all user friendly

Guys I could really use some advice please.

We are experiencing significant control problems with our base. At present we are simply using it to house a workshop and teleporters and we'd like a med bay and meeting room. However, control seems to leak away, even with Holo displays. I've tried adding a 2nd control room but it won't let me add any control items into it, and it's going to be a long time before we can afford a bigger control room. Please advise, what do I do?

Ultimately, for a small SG, it's still far too bleeping much. However that calculation takes place it means that a significant amount of time and effort has to go into simply affording the rent, before you can even worry about improving the base. Earning Prestige is tough enough to begin with, and the more I learn the more I dislike rent, because I cannot see a game value for it.

My SG is trying really hard to put a base together and then suddenly "bang" we are hit with a demand for rent which suddenly gives us an effective "cash flow" problem. It's a real mess and makes one wonder why bother?

So how can I get beacons for the non-hazard zones?

I've managed to create an Auto Doc, but for some reason I can't place it anywhere, despite the fact I've got almost nothing in my sick bay. Is this a bug or am I missing something? How can I make my rez ring better too?

As a small SG with only a few members, base rent is a real issue. We struggle to build our base as it is and then just when we think we've got enough prestige to actually buy something worthwhile, the rent bill comes through and bang... we're suddenly quite poor again.

I don't really understand the pricing structure of rent or the reason behind it to be truthful. I can't see how it can benefit the game or the SG, especially given the exhorbitant prices of the basic necessities of a decent base.

I really hope the "look" that bases are due to get straightens the whole thing out. Certainly, as things stand, the whole Base system doesn't favour small SGs which IMO is wrong
