Quote:Eh. I think you might be a bit generous, assuming how well the team meshes and how competent they are (and how many missions you rush).from experience running them, normal runs take about:
1-1.5 hours for tarikoss sf
2-3 hours for silver mantis
1.5-2 hours for renault
1-2 hours for ice mistral
1.5-2 hours for LRSF
1.5-2.5 hours for barracuda
Tarikoss: 30 minutes to 1.5 hours
Silver Mantis: 1-3 hours
Eyeball SF: 1.5-3 hours
Ice Mistral: 45 minutes to 3 hours
LRSF: 45 minutes to 3 hours
Oooooo Baracuda: 45 minutes to 3 hours
In my experience, most of those run in the middle of those ranges; you should always be prepared for the worst, especially if pugging with strangers. Half the team might be stalkers, two people might quit, one person doesn't have any enhancements slotted, etc etc.

Personally? Just get combat jumping. It's an awesome power that works well with every character/AT. And you can slot def sets in it, so it's a good place to put +kb protection and luck of the gambler+recharge.

As usual, shivans/nukes aren't required but I won't complain if you bring some.
8 pm eastern.

Well, it's that time of year again. Isolators is finishing their current run blue side.
Group meets at 8 pm eastern every Wednesday, play for 2-3 hours. Casual group, try to have people stick to the same average level. If interested in joining, please feel free to drop a line here or in game.
Will be on/idling earlier for invites on my brand new axe/shield brute.

For those unfamiliar with the group, Isolators was started shortly after badges were introduced to the game. This was in the dark, dreary times before global chat, global tells, or even coalition chat. Back then, the only way to find a person from the forums was by chance or pre-arranged meeting.
The Isolators project was started so the people who post here in Victory could actually meet and play together, so that you could have some fun with the people you chat with online. Everyone made a new character for this new group. This is an once a week supergroup that plays every 8 pm Wednesdays.
When the vast majority of the group hits 50, we start a new run of the group, switching between CoH and CoV between runs.
You don't have to be an active forum poster to join, through it's encouraged. At the very least, be a member of the community; run missions, join in advertised task forces, etc.
If you're interested in joining up this run, please feel free to post interest here. Everyone is welcome.
A few notes:
Everyone is welcome.
Not everyone is welcome.
This is an once a week sg. If the group ends up at level 20 at the end of the night, please don't show up next week at level 25.
If you're a few levels behind due to playing less, don't sweat it, but try to catch up on your own or with a task force if you can.
We play 8 pm eastern on Wednesdays. -

Katana already had the most awesome one.
-
Quote:God dammit so much. Need another 194 merits to buy them both. Shame I can't turn in the blades I already bought. Or buy/trade vanguard merits. It's true, Hamster! It was in some release notes from Nivene a week or so ago. Vanguard blades of any kind can be used for any sword-carrying hero or villain. I could be wrong on the details, but it's along those lines. I'm pretty sure they would have to be bought seperately still at the crafting table though.
-
I've always wanted the vanguard broadsword/katanas for use with dual blades; they just look so much better then the lame little short swords DB gets as a default. So color me surprised when a DB player I teamed with last night had dual vanguard katanas.
Figured, unannounced change to the weapon options, went to Icon today to change my db scrapper and behold! No option for that. Nothing listed as a possible option like that in wiki that I could find.
Am I missing something? How the heck did this guy have dual vanguard katanas? -
Ice Mistral is a fun TF, through.
-
Best way to unlock Viridian; run Ice Mistral like eight times!

For the last year or so, he doesn't shut up. Ever. And his chat appears on your tab(s) mission wide. And he talks every three to five seconds.

We kept running my Mako arc till it's end, finished around 12:30. 2.5 million completion bonus at the end. Made a good 75ish million tonite. Now have 630 million banked red side (average of 90 per level 50), with 1201 million blue side (80 per 50). Going to try to get another 70 mill red side this weekend.

Been sitting in storage for three years, can't sell it on the market (stupid jerk market).
-
Well, then that raises the question: Who IS interested in this?
