    Unfounded? Really? Seriously? I'm just going by their track record; never mind vague statements from today.

    I am against anything that is clunky, cumbersome, and reduces teaming opportunities. And everything that we know about GR (vague as it is), combined with their approach and release of other major things to the game do not leave me with much confidence that GR and side switching will NOT be some or all of those things.

    Again; I heard that the guy who came up with unlocking Cimerora got together with the guy who came up with the Vanguard drop rate and point values for all the Vanguard items, then they all got together with the guy who made Dr. Quaterjerk TF, and all these guys had a kid together.

    And now that this kid has grown up, he's coming up with the method of side switching.

    That's what I heard.

    Things WERE said in team chat. Several times. Before the TF started, before we entered, once we entered, AND once we got to the bottom and people STILL weren't getting it.

    AST technically isn't that hard in its own right but it has a high "lrn2play" factor. It's the TF separates the men and women from the children. Might try to setup another tonight or some point over the weekend. Despite being my 3rd failed run, I know I have a vastly higher success rate at running these than most (who seem utterly terrified at mentioning it). I will say that it is one place in the game where I vastly prefer having Fly over Super Jump and thus I'll probably try to run with my Blaster instead of my Scrapper.     It wasn't just that, however. Every time we took down the generators, there was always one guy doing it five seconds early and one guy doing it 20 seconds too late. That would always result in a lot of wasted particle gun shots (and time), as well as dealing with extra Rikti ambushes.
  12. I think all our spawns were at 42. One tank, five scrapper, one blaster, one defender.

    A major problem was a very low level of coordination. Several people weren't reading team chat, some people had no sg/no base hospital, some people used the "wait five minutes dead to see if anyone will rez me" strategy, some people needed written instruction on how to exit their sg base and even then it took them ten minutes and multiple trips back through Atlas/sewers to figure it out. Plus a general lack of coordination.

    THAT'S the glaring fault? I was more expecting "the animations make you look like your character is spastic and has gone full retard." I'm surprised that the powerset doesn't have an "aim" type power that makes you shoot your pistols sideways for the duration of it's effect.

    They'll look at how popular unlocking Cimerora is and think to themselves, you know, this doesn't go far enough. Then they'll think about how much people dislike getting Vanguard merits for custom weapons/costumes/fanny packs AND the Dr. Quaterfield TF and think to themselves; "If there was only some way we can combine all of these things together but make it EEXXTXTRREEEMMMEEEEEE."

    And that's what they're going to do. You have my word on this.

    Remember, I am the person who successfully predicted a fish based epic power pool back in CoV beta. Everyone laughed at me but WHO WAS RIGHT, SAMUEL TOW? WHO WAS RIGHT?

  22. Took longer to form up then I liked, but TF went very smoothly. 1 hr six minutes, iirc, with five deaths.

    Sharks seemed to have been having problems; three times the entire team LCMS'ed at the time time/for the same duration while in Shark's.

    You won't get the "full benefit" obviously, but it will go at 1.0 speeds. Because they're backwards compatible, more manufactures are phasing out 1.0 cards entirely.
