  2. Going to have to look at most peoples levels. A few will be hitting 50 in the next week or two, thought most people were a bit behind that...
  3. Any second now.

  4. Current run of Isolators will be finishing soon. Maybe four to six more weeks until the fun red side of Isos V.8 is finished.

Question is.... V.9. Go to blue side immediately? Wait a week or three and hope GR drops on schedule and do V.9 there?

Anyone who hasn't taken part in Isolators interested in joining the coming restart?

For those unfamiliar with the group, Isolators was started shortly after badges were introduced to the game. This was in the dark, dreary times before global chat, global tells, or even coalition chat. Back then, the only way to find a person from the forums was by chance or pre-arranged meeting.

The Isolators project was started so the people who post here in Victory could actually meet and play together, so that you could have some fun with the people you chat with online. Everyone made a new character for this new group. This is an once a week supergroup that plays every 8 pm Wednesdays.

When the vast majority of the group hits 50, we start a new run of the group, switching between CoH and CoV between runs.

You don't have to be an active forum poster to join, through it's encouraged. At the very least, be a member of the community; run missions, join in advertised task forces, etc.

If you're interested in joining up this run, please feel free to post interest here. Everyone is welcome.

    A few notes:
    Everyone is welcome.
    Not everyone is welcome.
This is an once a week sg. If the group ends up at level 20 at the end of the night, please don't show up next week at level 25.
If you're a few levels behind due to playing less, don't sweat it, but try to catch up on your own or with a task force if you can.
We play 8 pm eastern on Wednesdays.

I KNOW, right? Statesman waited until my grav/rad controller hit 45 and then BAM. Ham-o nerf.
  6. Grats on Ardor hitting 50.

    Put me down for it.
  7. I actually made my first controller to bring to Hamidon raids. Raids died pretty much as soon as the character hit 45.

Pretty much the same as the last zone event, Kabara Kill or whatever it was. GM npc walks through a zone, tons various undead zombies like a halloween event plus adamastor(s) and then some lame rp'ing at the end.

Note: The GM's would be a huge liability in the event of a real zombie apocalypse.

I've only tried a few master runs master runs, one successful MoITF and one MoKTF which we had one death when Reich smashed our Tank, that was the strategy we used on both. The others were MoSTF which I would like to try again sometime if it becomes popular again (Hoping so with side switching).
Eh. Once you're inside the goo, healing is a moot point.

A big thing that people need to remember; if you're running for safety, Hamidon has the range of the entire bowl and will continue firing as LONG as he sees you. So just running out 100' and then running back and forth each time he lobs another round at you is a bit useless.

  11. And if you take Voodoo, drop an o-zone portal at his feet 30 seconds before the end of the task force.

    Isolators?

    And another important issue:
What level will the Cow make it to before quitting this time?

    Oh Happy Day!

Side switching/being able to play on the other side will make that a moot point, however, unless they make it unlocking Cimerora on crack. Making it so that all my characters can run both sides content will be a top priority of mine.

I do have to say that it's about time. I like that they're going to allow for some RP ways of not bringing inf back and forth, but this is good overall for the game. Of course, it's coming after my villains now have enough cash to look after themselves. Oh well, at least their merit deficit won't matter so much now.
Blue side, I have 2268ish million spread over 17 level 50s. Red side, 951 million over eight level 50s. It's just usually so much easier to form a team blue side, especially given the number of task forces available. Being able to trade money over the sides is going to be really nice, take the pressure off trying to generate more cash on one side specifically.

Sounds like there is plenty of level 50 content coming down in the near future, at least.
Yeah, but a lot of people would rather team higher level for their beloved set bonuses.
