Seriously, how are you out Vanguard merits? On Desmodas Siazar I've purchased every costume piece, the salvage extension and numerous HVAS....I'm still sitting on a stockpile of 2500 Vanguard merits.

Ah, thought Des was implying you could run LGTF as a meaningful source of merits.
Oh, agree on alpha's being required. Can you tell if a teammate has them? Look at their power list?
Can you sell alpha enhancements?

If one of the TFs you run is a LGTF, you should come out with enough merits. Only takes 150 to craft a component, but you can only do it every 18 hours.

Having thoughts on going on a purple buying spree pre-I19 due to all the respecs that are going to be done.
Currently in storage, I've got two Apocalpyse
amages, one Ragnorok: Chance for Knockdown, and two Absolute Amazement: Stuns, with a little over 4.9 billion in cash. Now, looking at the purple prices and comparing them to pre-I18 (did a purple buying spree just before I18 dropped)?
Purple prices have more then doubled. At the same time, the prices of all other recipes have been gutted. Personally? I blame the A-merit changes. There's no longer any reason to pay a huge amount for a LoTG and people are now having a lot more cash left over to put to purples (the recipe drop structure of halloween also helped w/ this due to the H-merit drop choice). Also a big factor is the number of people leveling new characters due to side switching / existence of gold side.
So my question is... What do you guys think I19 is going to mean to purple prices? With Incarnate coming out, people are going to be playing their 50's a lot more instead of doing lower level stuff, which will both mean more purples dropping, more inf on hand, and more recipe drops that people won't need.

Anywho... Target level looks 40ish. Going to run Eden tonight with xp turning off, I think, as I fear out leveling it next week. Will run Numina and Sewers after next week then.
Team Hamster ran through the rest of the 35-40 Crey arc and started on the Envoy of Shadows arc. Got to the first encounter of the Envoy then called it a night. Will continue with him next week. -

Haven't been really paying attention to beta.
Really dislike the concept of the salvage only dropping from certain task forces. Encourages/forces farming of those exact ones; prefer random chance/drop tables in order to encourage people to do, well, whatever they want for fun instead of being "forced" to run a certain one. -
