Technically, she appeared to superspeed up the first section of the building/wall, then jumped the rest of the way.

Type slower and adapt. Not a big deal. Teams will still form in a timely fashion.

Quote:Hmmm. So the Notice on the Wall is ONE of the components to get the next level of alphas. But The only? Been playing 50's for shards/see how their new builds are working since uncommoning them, thinking of getting another character to 50 / closer to 50 while waiting on the exact recipes.Hello to everyone! Black Scorpion here to make a little announcement.
In early February we are launching an update to Issue 19 called the Strike Pack. The Strike Pack introduces the Weekly Strike Target and the Rare and Very Rare tiers of the Incarnate Alpha Slot.
Weekly Strike Target: Every week, we will announce one Task Force and one Strike Force (or instead one Co-Op Task Force) that will give increased rewards for that week. The first time a character completes the Weekly Strike Target in the week, they receive double merits and a bunch of additional XP. Even if you go rogue and do the other sides Weekly Strike Target as well, youll only get that reward for your first in a given week. After running it once, your character can earn progress toward some brand new badges for helping others by running it as many times as you like. Of course, you can run the WST on as many characters as you have the inclination for and get the increased rewards on each. The Weekly Strike Target will change every Tuesday morning.
But wait, I hear you say, how does this get us more Incarnate power? Black Scorpion hears your pleas.
Alpha Slot Upper Tiers: With the Strike Pack, you will be able to expand the Alpha Slot to the Rare and Very Rare tiers. Running the Weekly Strike Target on an Incarnate-enabled character adds to your once-a-week bonus a Notice of the Well reward, which is a necessary component to craft the Rare tier abilities of the Incarnate Alpha Slot. Save them up, add a few Shards, and your Notice of the Well can be upgraded to a Favor of the Well which is necessary for crafting the Very Rare abilities in the Alpha Slot. Of course, once Issue 20 launches, you will be able to build these abilities with stuff found while completing Incarnate Trials as well.
In addition to their tree-specific benefits, when you slot a Rare or Very Rare Alpha Slot power, a level shift will be applied to your character. Your level 50 character will fight with the same strength as if they were level 51; your actual level will not change, and the level shift only applies when you have a Rare or Very Rare power in the Alpha Slot and it is active. Characteristics which take level differences into account like damage and control duration will be affected, but basic stats like hit points and movement speed are unchanged. This should come in handy on tackling challenging content like the Tin Mage and Apex TFs (or any other high-level content), but you will find it is of tremendous value in improving your effectiveness in the Incarnate Trials launching with Issue 20!
More detailed information will be released in the coming weeks.

Quote:Selling just feeds the flippers. You're best off to continue your current practice.Well, I know that either way SOMEONE is getting my pruples, whether I give them away or sell them, since that money has to come from somebody bidding on it. Even I'm not petty enough to just trash the things, or worse still vendor them

That's just crazy talk.

Seriously, no one has the name of the person who came up with this yet?
Really starting to annoy me when forming teams....

Quote:Likely not. He just is kissing up in hopes of getting a purple from you. Ignore him! Just keep teaming with me.Have we actually run missions together, NT? In City of Heroes, I mean?
I know I pester you pretty much every time I see you on Global, but did we ever get the chance to team up and actually do a mission?

Was having really bad load times in PI as well. On a few occasions we had 2-3 teammates crash at once.

Quote:You're trying to trick me into saying that Samuel Tow likes to play with himself. It won't work, you know.I'm a bit confused by this thread...
I mean, I saw the 6/8 number, and I realize that Hamster is one of the
two that like teaming with Samuel Tow.
However (and I've looked very carefully), I can't see where it's been
established that Samuel Tow likes teaming with Samuel Tow...
/em scratches head...

Quote:Yes.Yeah, crazy idea, I know. When I say "reroll," I mean delete the character and create a new one with the same look and backstory, but different powersets and/or AT. To answer the obvious question of why in as short a form as I can: Because I'm done playing Blasters. I really don't want to discuss this, beyond saying that recent changes to the game have made me realise that I never actually liked them to begin with, and I will no longer torture myself playing an AT I don't like.
<snip>
Any ideas?
Are you high?

Quote:I think its Sam doesn't need to team, because money just keeps falling from the sky around him.
If I was giving away my purple drops, because I just sold a bunch of other purple drops, I wouldn't team with any of you people either. I would sit in my purple wallpapered base stroking my purple cat while thinking of alts I could create that could use all ten purple sets.
Jeez the last time I got a purple drop was months ago and I accidentally sold it at a store. I don't even remember what president was in office the last time I got a purple drop before that.

Quote:I had concerns that using reduced fractions would unduly confuse some of the more developmentally challenged forum readers. Given some of the responses in the thread, it was a justified fear.Yeah well, I'm giving the Hamster a mark down in his grade for not reducing his fractions.
