Oh, so it IS a bug then and not me going insane. That's good.
Yeah, but when I'm listing an item for 170 mill, I KNOW there's a warning coming. Just doesn't occur to me to look that close at it.

This has happened to me a number of times in the last few months. Trying to decided if it's a bug, I'm crazy, too tired, or intoxicated.
At the end of a play session/TF, I toss out any recipes worth selling on the market, then craft any recipes worth selling at a profit, then toss those and some left over salvage onto the market as well.
Then go down the stored tab and list them one at a time.
Click "find" to see the last five prices/no. on the market, type in a reasonable price, and then hit "enter."
And here's what has happened:
I'll type in a large amount for a crafted enhancement, hit "enter".... And the item BELOW the item I'm on is listed at that price. And naturally, it's usually when I'm listing a crafted obliteration for 70ish million and the item below it is eight hydraulic pistons. -
Quote:Strike Target of the Week
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
February 1st to February 7th - The Statesman Task Force (from Statesman in Independence Port)/ The Lord Recluse Strike Force (from Lord Recluse in Grandville)
February 8th to February 14th - Return of he Reichsman (from Dr. Kahn in Founders' Falls) / Thus Spoke the Reichsman (from Barracuda in Grandville)
February 15th to February 21st - The Lady Grey Task Force (from Lady Grey in the Rikti War Zone)
February 22nd to February 28th - Clamor and Destruction (from Sister Psyche in Independence Port) / Pirates of the Skies (from Silver Mantis in Sharkhead Isle or your supergroup or villaingroup base's mission computer or oracle)
The above is posted...Doing the Sister Psyche in the 20's...Give me a break. Your Alpha slot won't work...not that it needs to just "facepalm".
We should be doing CONTENT that will generate SHARDS meaning lvl 50 opponents.
Extremely disappointed.
So.... Your question is....? What? Not really seeing a question. Seeing a few grammar errors. But no question. -
I just wish it had a larger hit box. Hate trying to hit it from the side/above at times. You're clearly next to the model but still out of range. Same w/ the pipes and the tree.

Anyone else have a problem with their client freezing up here? It happens to me a LOT. While I do have soundloop crashing issues since I18, I specifically have my client freeze several times a week but only at this corner.
Always under the following circumstances:
Going NE through PI
Using superspeed
Been on for a while
And yes, I keep forgetting to avoid that corner. Flying? No problem. Going AROUND that intersection? I'm fine. But forget about it and go through there? Freeeeezzeeee up.

Oh, really. Hadn't considered the pseudopet issue; thought it would be directed at the player. Tier 6 bonus is only 5 percent tox resistance. Hmmm. Maybe move that slot to tactics on a future respec...

My elec/elec dom just hit 50 last night, finished IO'ing it out this morning.
Haven't had much of a chance to play with it since my level 50 repsec, however. How well does the chance for placate work with static field?

Quote:Yeah, but when you have multiple tf's go REAL rough at the end and no one on the team but you has any shivans to yank out, it gets annoying. For the time spent getting them, they're a real nice ace in the hole. Especially if half/most/all of the team has them.Yes, you always love your Shivans a bit too much, but you have been posting about it a lot more. Here + your Festivus thread=your latest thing to grouse/talk about. It's not like we don't all have things that bother us more at random times, whether they really should or not.
No saying you should have all five charges on each character, but just the power itself can be a nice crutch.

Quote:No, it's not a latest thing to talk about. They're not required, but LORD can it be nice if you have a TF go bad. There's no Shivan requirement to do any content in CoH or CoV. It's just Satanic Hamster latest thing to talk about.

I'm up for it.

I'm still disappointed in how few of you had shivans.

Still in.

Screenshots of some of the tier 3 and 4's posted in general.
The short of it:
Going from tier 2 and 3 is relatively easy. Two common components and one notice of the well. I imagine a lot of people can and will just say "screw it" and go straight to tier 3 by running the task force of the week and burning eight shards.
Now, tier 3 to tier 4 is another story. You effectively need 40 shards, a couple common components, and two notices of the wells. And *two* tier 3 alphas.
You CAN convert components to shards but at a fairly horrible rate. However, good news for DC; you can convert V-merits into shards.
I think I'm going to continue on my previous strategy; until this goes live, I'm going to be building up components on random characters and when this goes live, go through all my characters semi-randomly until they all have tier 3's slotted, then go back to randomly playing them until they have tier 4's.

Mastermind: 5 analyze weakness, one Ragnarok chance for knockdown.
Corruptors: 5 analyze weakness, one devastation chance for hold -
Going to hit 50 this week myself.
Question is; how many do we have for another run?
-
The celebration of Festivus begins with the "Airing of Grievances," which takes place immediately after the Festivus dinner has been served. It consists of lashing out at others and the world about how one has been disappointed in the past year.
To start, I'd like to say how disappointed I am in many of you for not having Shivans on all your characters. I can understand not having many characters with nukes or vanguard HVAS, but shivans are an easy way to help a poorly performing team take out a difficult end encounter. Several times this weekend I had tf's go bad and only to find that I'm the only person out of the team to have any temp pets/powers that are helpful.
Second I would like to express how much some people have let me down by asking for team invites when they can't actually take an invite. Be it in a mission, the wrong zone, in a task force, on global hide, it's just wrong. Especially having five people do it in a row.
And for all those people who have made new stalkers in the past year, I'm disappointed in you most of all.
This Saturday will take place the Feats of Strength, which will be in the form of a Quaterfield task force. -
Quote:Hmmm. I had a few TF's that went FAR harder then they should have, including an ITF Sunday evening. Didn't occur to me to consider that as a possibility for the difficulty.I am begining to really dislike double xp weekends, I think that 2.5 hour LGTF killed it for me on Friday morning. I had a few tfs where the people on it were unslotted or "my enhancements just turned red" and then they felt they best served the group by following behind and not really doing much.
-
Here's the first thing; don't use "random" for generating costumes.
-
Jenkined my energy/traps corruptor to 50 on Thursday night, spent the rest of the weekend running TF's it hasn't run, slotting an uncommon on it, and then doing random component tf's for the coming alpha expansion.
-
Quote:My mastermind went 5 analyze weakness, one rag+chance for knockdown. Corruptor went 5 AW and one dev+chance for hold. Both are good. Hell, the hold might be a bit better. That was my reaction as well.
Now, I'll have to find another set to put into Acid Mortar.
I was looking forward to using the chance for energy damage though.
Alas, 'tis not to be.

Quote:NooooooooooooooooooooooJust yesterday, I tried to slot the 5th IO from Positron's Blast into Acid Mortar. I wasn't allowed to put it in there with the other 4 that have been slotted for a long time. THAT is Outragous. It's a travesty. It's probably going to make me burn a respec to take the other 4 out of Acid Mortar...eventually.
