I have managed to miss more of the last two years con's than attend, but this I have learned - and I realize not actually from the 09 HeroCon ... uh ... nm ... carry on .. nod and smile ...
The COH community has never failed to impress me.
The COH dev and community gang have always been warm and interactive - far more so than I would have anticipated.
This is the first game of this sort I have ever played, and I see no point in going elsewhere. This really is a fun, warm, mostly intelligent and even occasionally witty group and I am proud to be a justicite and to have been missed.
War Witch really is a cool chica, .... AND she likes to add 'u's to her spelling, so I love her.
I don't advise people to fall in love online ... it has too many pot holes and complications and is highly inadvisable. However, as it happens, I also fell in love through this game, and it's been several years and I am more in love with TA than ever. The first M&G that we went to was a bit ephemeral, as people kept asking to take our picture! It was wonderful and heartwarming to be welcomed as a couple into a community that, up until then, had existed alongside our romance in the virtual world.
I learned that people in this game are, from my personal experience, almost all damned good! -
