Even if you do get mezzed in mid-air, it only lasts until you hit the deck, after which Grounded kicks in again.

In work, I have my IE Window small and out of the way

    Hehe, ditto
  3. Best of luck this month to all taking part - take it from me, it's hard going. Especially about 2-3 weeks in...

  4. Not really Max, because most builds have stamina problems as is (which is why Stamina is a must have power for most ATs), and slotting for recharges and attacking twice as often in a given space of time, as well as constantly, will only exacerbate the problem further still.
  5. Aye, but pre-end recovery power (Power Sink for me) you're gonna run out of end pretty quickly.

Acid fonts do a lot of 'popular culture' fonts as well. V V Good.

    Cheers Weasle

I shall trawl that today when I get home

I am biased, having taken my Kat/Reg scrapper to 50, but it's brought the most fun I've had in the game so far.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Ditto to that
  8. As a regen, I see my scrapper as the bodyguard of the team. I'll take on anything (esp as being 50 means debt is pointless) to pull the aggro off the squishies in the team.

I see it as my job to kill any threats to my team-mates.

Yes but Sar, the effect is the same before you take fury into account. That's not acceptable for a brute though. Fury makes a WORLD of difference. It seems to me that in some situations it's more important to do loads of damage in a short amount of time, then it is to be economic about your endurance use. In those situations slotting for recharge would be greatly superior to slotting for damage.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'll give it a go on the test server tonight and see how it goes - but most of the time you're going to kill things too quickly before your fury gets up to decent levels surely?

Dunno, but like I said I'll give it a go today and see how it pans out.

But before Power Sink I can't see it being effective, as End problems will be very apparent.
  10. Nps m8, it's a great wee site - some fonts you need to pay for, but generally the free ones are just as useful.

PS: I take it you liked that one FFM?

Yep, Grounded definitely has KB protection - I was getting blatted all over the shop before I took it. Since that? I've not been KB'd once.
  12. Better to maximise your efficiency in slotting for damage to be used per endurance point spent, rather than spending twice the endurance for what is really the same end effect - a 95-100% damage increase BEFORE fury is taken into account.

The last day of the Halloween event is all day Wednesday.

I still need ghost-touched on my brute - thankfully I got em all on my scrapper who's my main badge-magnet.
  14. I get all my comic fonts from blambot.com - that one's called badaboom.

  15. Aye, just a bit, including getting the necessary screenshots. That 3rd issue especially took some time - about 4 hours all told. Mostly because it was getting done in spurts, but more because there were more effects used this time round.

All a part of the evolution of the strip, which ultimately won't have to rely on screenshots at some dim and distant point in the future...

Not sure Chels deserves the "his/her" bit

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Says who?

I have no idea of his/her gender, ergo my usage.
  17. It is Halloween after all!

  18. A bit late in production - not brought to you on time in conjunction with Christmas shopping and Budweiser.

Depends on his/her usage of "like"

I read it as it should have "y'know?" with a rising inflection on the end.

    Like, totally for sure!

Aid self has NO damage resistance.

It has a minor Disorient resist, no other.
  21. Dunno at what point Issue 3 will go up over the weekend, because I'll be out Christmas shopping of all things tomorrow!

Well done Sis_kin, I really enjoyed that
  23. Swissy thank you.

That's a fantastic site - yet another site to add to the Art folder in Firefox!

  24. I did this back in 2001. Got up to about 32,000 words then gave up :P

So for me? No, sorry - don't have the time now. But best of luck to those who do go for it
