    Ok i think i'm seriously dense or something, but i cannot figure these out.

    I move the level slider to 30.
    I pick from the 26-29 pool.

    And the recepie i get is level 41.
    Note, char is lvl 50.

    How am i sposed to get a lvl 30 recepie?

    Hey i credited you half on each for those
    Round 1: 2-0, then 3-1 (we helped you on your first :O )
    Round 2: 4.5-1.5 (you came to help us on the 5th one).
    Round 3: 4-2 (finished the last ones almost simultaneously).
    Round 4: 2-0 then 2.5-1.5 (you came to help us on the 5th).

    And if i can flex my own tail some... i only got defeated once! And it was mostly due to my own stupidity of forgetting to use an EoE

    Sword/Shield

    Well, little update on this char.
    I've now made her into the new heroside Sapphic Neko
    The old DB/WP Sapphic Neko on defiant is now under a new name. (The original DB/WP Brute on union still remains tho!).

    She's almost finished on the slotting, I decided with the last build i posted here.
    I am missing a Numina:Heal in True Grit, Numina:Heal in Aid Self, Kismet: Accuracy and the +regen unique.

    I've used her in some TFs and versus hamidon and i have to say she's by far the most powerful character i've made. I can forsee my Elec/Shield brute rivaling her when i get fully IO'd out tho.

    I'm very happy with how she turned out. It took me awhile, and about 30 revisions on her build in the end. But the result is impressive! I've neevr thought IO's made that much diffrence and tbh i thought of em mostly as fluff. But this project have really changed my opinion and i can see how big of a diffrence it made for me.

    My only real defensive weakness is when i miss parry, and even with parry slotted for defense, i still put out enough damage to solo an AV (only tried Chimera tho).
    I also tanked the monsters on monster isle without too much trouble, even tanked two at once a few times.


    And on hamidon having one with the shield was a godsend. The extra hitpoints and the +100 knockback prot really did the trick. Capped regen with all that HP was nummy

    I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who gave me ideas, it's been a learning experience for me on how to do things.
  6. Not sure what good it'll do. Should it point to the train station or to the actual zone lines? Because in most cases neither of those are the best/fastest way to get to a zone.

    So you're in kings row and need to go to peregrine. Should it lead to skyway, then talos, then peregrine?, or should it offer up pocket d -> talos -> peregrine or train to atlas -> rwz -> peregrine. or ouroboros -> peregrine?

    I dunno, there is a zone map ingame already showing which zones are connected and where the two trainlines stop, do we really need more than that because it could get pretty complicated i think.
  7. Change bid button would be nice.

    Just a simple quality of life feature.
    Like putting up some salvage, see it's not selling. it would be much nicer to just put in a new bid for it and click change bid, rather then claim the items, open salvage and drag em back into AH, then put in the bid.

    Or if you're bidding, see your bid is a little low, put in a higher bid and click change bid. instead of having to cancel bid, browse to the IO and put a new bid ther.

    Don't think it would be that much effort to add this feature.

    I always spend my inf, so the most i had was around 90 mil when i pooled inf i had on a bunch of characters and started kitting out my first shield char.
    Prob spent some 6-700 mil or so on her by now, but the most i had at any one time was 90 mil, give or take 5.

    19 yellow mito kills for team uber, while yt1 only got a measly 5

    Ok they helped a little on two so i can say 18-6 in team ubers favor!

  18. Buy mac edition, apply the code to your current account. Can play on PC still.

    A standalone version of valkyrie pack will be out pretty soon as well. But the mac edition is a better deal.

    But playing city of heroes for 6 months does not make the game any more fun, its either fun, or not fun.
    Playing a tacky game for 6 months does not increase the quality of the game, or reduce its tacky-ness.
    The arguement between Prototype and City of heroes is that for 6 months of paid time on Heroes, you can get Prototype, which appears to have better quality in it, and the fact that it has been said to be an open city, and possibly open ended story, might indicate that game play could last longer than 1 week. Also - being a PC game, X-Box360 and PS3 game, there is always the possibility of additional content. Eg - Via X-Box Live, or PS Store. Yes - They often require small amounts of money for these content packs, but I would rather pay for something that is fun, and good quality, than something that is not.

    After 4 years anf 5 months, City of Heroes is still fun to me. I do not find it to be tacky, thats entirely your opinion. If i found CoH to be boring and tacky, i wouldn't be playing it anymore. But as i still have fun when i log in, i still play it.

    And if you so find the quality of a game to be the reason to get it. Why don't you go look at Biowares game lineup, better quality for money you won't find anywhere.

    You're comparing a singleplayer game to an MMO. You'll play prototype for 6 months? no. you'll play it for a week maybe, then a couple months later another week.

    Lets expand the comparison.
    say we get 15 days worth of gameplay out of protype to be generous. Dunno what it'll cost, but i guess €50 like all other new games.

    CoH i've played for 4 years and 5 months now, paid around €750 total in it.

    So lesse. 15 days for €50, is €3.33 per day.
    4 years + 5 months ~1600 days for €750 ~ €0.47 per day.
    Prototype is approx 7 times as expensive for the amount of gameplay i get.
  23. The "problem" with a wheelchair costume piece isn't the actual costume or model. It's what comes after.
    Should you be allowed to use a wheelchair being a martial artist scrapper? Probably not.
    Then you have the whole matter of creating new animations for every power.
    It might not be "difficult" but it's so much work it's not worth it.

    Same reason they not adding a new body type.
    First they have to fit all costume pieces to that body type.
    Once that done they have to add animations for all powers and conditions for that new body type.

    So yea, it's not gonna happen.
