It's because ragdoll calculations are done locally. So your computer made decide that it takes 3 seconds before you can get up, but your friends computer calculates that it is 10 seconds before you can get up, leading to rubberbanding.
[/ QUOTE ]
Ok, so i got a question then.
Why during heavy network lag (like lag hill in ITF) it's the ragdoll physics that are choppy while my attack animations and such are fine.
I'm experiencing no graphics slowdowns, just network lag causing ragdoll physics to get choppy.
If they were done locally, shouldn't they be smooth still while having network lag? -

You do realize anything on the internet can be obtained for free right? I havn't tried 3D modelling personally, but i do work in photoshop.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, i don't think piracy actually would count as being free. It's still stealing. -
Hmm might be intrested.
Cannot play on tuesdays, fridays and sundays tho. -

Aao isn't that hot on brutes.
[/ QUOTE ]
Are you serious?
AAO is great for brutes. -
Elemental team?
With a costume to reflect the element chosen. -
Keen.
Tho i think i'll stick with Alias Studiotools
It's what i know how to use best, just need to find some decent inspiration to make something! -

Have you added anything like the Mac edition to your account recently, that did bump my vet reward time by a week when I added it to my account, from the 26th of Feb to the 3rd of March, however it has gone back to awarding on the 26th again once that vet reward passed.
[/ QUOTE ]
I knew it, the Mac is evil!
[/ QUOTE ]
Uhm...
That has nothing to do with the mac pack, but rather the fact there's only 28 days in febuary.
Last year i got a vet reward on feb 3rd then next on april 29th then the one after that on july 30.
This year i got a vet reward on 11th jan, then the next one on 14th april.
So the month of febuary will play a little havoc with the vet reward dates. -

Don't know if it's new, but a friend of mine noticed a 5th column's soldier talking about "Atlantis" in the last mission of ITF.
[/ QUOTE ]
Noticed that too, but i just chalked it up to never actually paying attention to it before. -
Likewise, i often lose track of the mouse pointer, especially since it often changes color. And it's really really tiny.
It was actually easier to spot when i had the mouse pointer bug in vista when it was three times as big and grey speckled. -
If deteleting the .checksum does not help, you probably have something up with the router/firewall blocking the ports it needs. Perhaps you've installed some program or something which may have messed with the ports.

Here my build is. I play her a ranged only, she doesn't blap at all. Only using power thrust as a personal defense tool.

Hey Temperus, can i upload that onto my Devart as well?
-
[ QUOTE ]
The combination of LRM Rocket and Full Auto is just tasty, especially if you have Build Up, Boost Range and Surveillance. Why spend a huge chunk of your blue bar to repel spawns when you can outright kill them?

That, plus is oh so much more satisfying firing a rocket
Can post my build for Gunsmith Cat (she's AR/NRG/Munitions) if there's any intrest, she's quite fun to play! -
[ QUOTE ]
Another good picture of Neko. I bet she is the most drawn character on EU servers.
Everybody loves Neko!
[/ QUOTE ]
Yea i love that too.
Also quite love the boobies on her
I love getting art of my chars, makes me tingle all over. Especially Sapphic Neko since she's my absolute fave. -
Looks great! i'm truly stunned
There just one minor detail, the skirt she uses is white and the leggings black, but She looks great nontheless!
Thanks very much! -
Munitions. LRM Rocket is just... <3
Also Cryo freeze ray is nice in conjuction with ignite. -
[ QUOTE ]
One of you coming soon Sappic
[/ QUOTE ]
*gasp*
Yaaay! -
You confuzzle me morty!
-
I agree, becuase it says in big letters for the EU version thats it's for Europe.
But on the US version it doesn't say anything, the only hint is the US sales tax and the fact it's in us dollars.
US version
While the EU version actually states it's for Europe.
EU version
(I also find it hilarious that EU version says it has US sales tax on it as well).
So if you do contact support and they're being snarky about it, show them that and hope they fix it in future. Cause that really is their own fault that cause these mistakes to happen. -
[ QUOTE ]
sorry to persist in this off-topicness but out of defiance, I'll draw an super-powered orgy ha!
[/ QUOTE ]
yes please! -
Exploits are defined by using some mechanic of a system in a way it's not intended to give yourself an advantage.

Cobra may have delivered an agreement with a bit more Venom (pun intended), but I'm glad he agrees with my point. Veteran rewards are given out for PLAYING the game. Not PAYING it.
[/ QUOTE ]
Umm, not entirely true. They are based on subscription time (both payed for and free time like from the Mac Pack) that has elapsed. There is no requirement to actually PLAY that game during this time.
[/ QUOTE ]
True but you do not get badges for paying for the sub, you get the badges once you "played" the duration.
Weather you just let accout sit still or actually were logged in during the played time is an altogether diffrent matter.
So Cobra is indeed spot on. -
[ QUOTE ]
Has the Nemesis Staff issue been fixed now?
The one where you'd pull out your Staff and wait for 2 or 3 seconds before the animation and power hit (or miss)
[/ QUOTE ]
yes it's fixed. -
Guessing losing access to characters will be same as losing access to the arc.
It's still there but you cannot do anything to it?
Perhaps they'll give you the option to delete it yourself to free up the slot.
