As far as i can recall it wasn't available as digital until much later. If memory serves it wasn't until after CoV sometime? Fuzzy memory tho, i'm old and it's been awhile
Unless you count the recruit a friend trial, since they didn't need to buy game then, just play it and sub to it.
I still got my CoH and CoV collectors boxes sitting in my book shelf. -
I've seen DOs down to level 5, and SOs down to level 10. Not particularly common occurrance tho. I'm sure there's SOs lower than 10 but not taken a sub 10 to faultline to fight the AVs there yet.

Keep gameplay roughly the same, don't do anything CO did. Stay the f away from celshaded graphics. Possibly more end game stuff. -

If someone has done the whole mission arc on their character, they can go to DJ Zero and get the mission even when valentines is over.
I know this cause i've done this mission outside valenties alot to get the hearts pattern.
