Sapphic_Neko

First build i made for my rising dual pistol blaster.
It's pretty much a copy of my build for Gunsmith Cat, who is a AR/EM blaster. Really like her build too, worked very well for my playstyle

Mostly looking for some ideas and alternative slotting.
Rise of the phoenix is for concept, no fire armor cause i don't like hiding my character in flames.
Not sure what to take for level 49 power. Possible conserve power since i am having some end issue now with SOs, hoping IOs will fix that tho.

edit: Updtaed build with new slotting on empty clips, piercing rounds, bullet rain and hail of bullets. Both alot cheaper and better bonuses.

This is my current build for Sapphic Neko. Works very well, the only drawback is that it relies on parry for melee defense, but so far i've never had a problem with that. I have soloed ITF with this build, so i do feel like it's working

Also, i despise having to take fighting pool, so this build works without it.

She is a hover-scrapper, so if you don't wanna hover, change those to something else.

I never understood why people moaned and complained so much about it. Posting tables and such on numbers which made no sense to me.

The set feels really good to me, i don't mind the animations, i really enjoy playing this blaster. Doesn't feel weak at all. Cannot wait to get some IOs in so i get better end reduction and recharge

Hmm, i'll try to be there, on Sapphic Neko, Broadsword/Shield scrapper.
I could lead a melee team, i've done it a few times before when Omega_MCX arranged it. I was on the better yellow team *sticks out tounge at uther_dracus* 18-6 baby!

Super Booster V will be mutation themed.

What that means in what costume pieces we'll get we can only speculate tho.

Personally i am hoping for more anthro bits. Like paw gloves and boots, more tails (animated ones since they are in issue 17).

Will see tho, i know jay is very against anthro stuff so might not happen after all. There's other mutation bits to consider.

Playing in ICON. I've probobaly logged more hours in ICON than i have playing the game.

Playing with my friends. I never have as much fun as i do when i play with people i love, Psygon, Gonk, Morty, Maximus Prime, Rab, Uzzi etc. You make the game awesome

Finding that awesome combination of good costume, good name and fun powersets. I have so very few this has fitted on. Third version of Sapphic Neko broadsword/shield became a major hit, much more so than the other two, which i still like alot . Sapphic Shock, elec/shield brute, so much powah, and i love her outfit Gunsmith Cat, AR/EM blaster, always hated AR until we could change the model of the rifle, now i love it
I have other comboes which are fun, but lacking that special something, be it name, costume or powersets.

I spent most of my time during DXP face down.
I had the first three debtbadges before lvl 30, and fouth before 40 with a fair amount of progress to the 5th

I had a little bit of a habit of running into groups to take alpha while hailing bullets!

Had lots and lots of fun, playing with friends who i love to death!
Participated in two costume contests and got 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
*shakes fist at psygon and gonk*

Did experience short periods of big lag in missions, specially on aoe heavy teams. Normally the game is lagfree for me. Feels as if the servers handling the missions couldn't quite cope with the added loads.

DXP was ok, fun playings, but experience lessened by me feeling really really sick :|

got my DP blaster to 41 and a DP defender to 17, as well as the odd levels on other chars.

You know... i actually got a tell from a level 42 blaster asking me how to change his ammo.

That really boggled my mind.

I've only been kicked once. And it was on my petless mastermind Was around three years ago, and i wanted to play a dusl pistols char. so i rolled a Thugs/Dark MM and picked only three powers from thugs

I usually don't mind how people build their chars, but sometimes it just annoys me. Like the super reflex scrapper who complained constantly they were held/slept/stunned etc. I checked their powers, no practised brawlers. I asked why they didn't have it and got the reply "It's not doing anything".
*rolls eyes*

Or the invuln tank who died in every fight on ITF, and noticed they didn't have Temp Invulnerability, they respecced after the TF tho and became a much better tank

Or the Fire/Axe tanker who didn't have stamina (he had hurdle, swift and health tho), demanded that we stopped every fight so his rest power would recycle and threatened to quit when i ran ahead and soloed two groups at once while he rested. The best part was when he said to team "I'm gonna put two more slots into rest, six recharge should make it better"

So by that reasoning all sets but fire are inferior since fire has the highest single target and aoe damage?

There's been lots of em tbh. Most are tame and unfunny. Some are just annoying, like a guy who sent me i think seven mistells back to back, he was having some conversation and all his replies went as a tell to me.


Personally i don't mistell much, but i often chat without thinking O.o.
Which has caused alot of my friends to cite a swedish comic character called Arne Anka. He said "Thinking before speaking, is like wiping your behind before you do a twosie" <- Ok actual quote is a fair bit more explicit than that, but still, i kinda type, then think o.O

You're paying $30 for all the going rogue content which will come. side switching, praetoria etc.
You're paying $30 for all the new costume pieces they create with going rogue.
You're paying $30 for all the stuff they've not announed yet.


Your prepurchace is buying you the going rogue expansion, you don't have to pay for it when it comes in july you pay for it now. And paying for it now, you get early access to two powersets, dual pistols and demon summoning. If you don't wanna pay now but wait for it's release, thats fine too.
