Yep, don't think i'll be using the VIP server. Its a daft idea imo -_-.

I've played a few f2p games, and i've actually used the store in two to buy levelling speed and to get some cool outfits (they had a catgirl outfit, i HAD to!).

The levelling speed isn't power. It doesn't make my character hit harder or make me live longer. But it did save me from having to grind out a level to get to next content.

I did try one where they were selling power. You could buy an item which would automatically heal you to full when you dropped to 25% health. It effectively let you do content you were sposed to have a team to do. They gave you one to sample as you levelled up. Might've been fine, but they put in so much content which required groups it just got tedious. I never gave in and bought them, i quit instead

I guess i'll never understand this from the offended womens view point.

Personally i have about four diffrent clothes styles i wear.

1: Comfy clothes, i dress for comfort, not looks. This usually consist of me being barefoot, having baggy combat pants or sweats and a t-shirt or tank top. Not particularly sexy in my book, but i've still managed to draw looks.

2: Work outfit. Consists mostly of dress pants, a t-shirt and a shirt or blouse over it.

3: Going out outfit. consists of clothes i wear to get attention. Usually short skirts, tops that show cleavage and/or belly button, and usually tight fitting. Alternatively nice dresses if its more formal, or same as work outfit depending on occasion.

4: Intimacy wear. yeah, i'll leave this up to your imagination. But its clothes to show off for one or two persons alone.


If someone, man or woman looks at me, i never get offended. Instead i tend to take it as a compliment. Yes i do think it gets annoying when they're very persistent, especially the "creepy guys(tm)". But i personally like looking at other people who catch my eye, i've lost myself in another girl cleavage, so i cannot really complain when someone looks at my boobs.


Also, regarding that comment i put on the nude pic earlier in this thread. Not gotten a single PM or such about the location of it. No harrassment there, granted its not hard to find, would only take 4-5 clicks to find it, but still.

I can vouch for Deedee not using photo manipulation, as she was kind enough to show me a teaser of the picture as she was working on it. (She actually asked me if she could use me for the project).
I knew instantly which picture she used as a reference, and i thought it was an excellent choise.

Hmmm lets see.

My favorites:

Ghost Widow - Awesome sexy skeery look.
Mother Mayhem - I really like her costume, and i love her "motherly way". I think shes a great character.
New Nightstar - Very cool robotic look. I love the underarm swords.
Numina - Her pink/purple robe has been the object of my want for years.
Silver Mantus - While i think her face/hair is ugly, i like her as a character. Pain so close to Pleasure
Mirror Image - Has perhaps one of the coolest costumes i've seen on a signature character. Also one i'm most jealous of.
Bobcat - Her costume is very simple (her hair sucks), but the pose she has in the club is win
Warwitch - She has a look i very much associate with CoH, it's not fancy or complex. Its just a simple, sexy attainable look you can pull off in char gen (aside her hair).
Maelstrom - Has a great cossie i think, and working holsters!


My not so favorites.
Sister Psyche - Simple costume, she has a sexy look but somehow i don't think her look suits her character.
Swan - I like the character, and i like her look, but its not a look i think is good for her. She shoud have a feathery outfit as a whole, not just some wierd arm/back item.
Mynx - Yes i love catgirls, and for that reason i think this girl needs a makeover ala Bobcat. Her costume looks terribly out of date and the tigerstripe in blue and while doesn't look good.
Valkyrie - Has a big spear on her back but fights with a sword... just silly i think. Should fight with the spear, or have the sword on her back. You have the tech to empty/fill holsters/scabbards, so she definatly needs a makeover.
Aurora Borealis - I actually don't mind her look that much. But who is she, shes very underused. I'd love to see more of this girl in the game, not just a trainer in IP.
Manticore - Probably my least favorite character, the CoH version of batman, and just for that he isn't very intresting. Batman has same problem imo, the villains there are a hundredfold more intrested than batman himself is.
