Why does this topic even exist?
How do you know the AT will be "boring" after watching a little promotional trailer about it.
Why does there even need to be an argument about the *speculation* about the AT.

I for one am glad they adding VEAT. Were they what i expected? nope. But they look to be intresting with a brand new way to develop your character. (oh noes it's new... it must be bad! i hate new things so much i never change my undies).
Does some things about them look iffy? Yeah sure, but here's the kicker: I... Have... Not... Played... It... Yet.
So why get upset about something that might or might not be true?

So do this before preaching the doom of VEAT.
1: Wait for Issue 12 to launch.
2: Make a VEAT or more since there's two types and each can branch two diffrent ways.
3: Play to at least 35+ so you have some powers earned after brancing.

Then and only then, might what you post carry more weight than a snowflake in the wind. Cause right now you're pretty much only making yourself look like a whiney little kid who didn't get his lollipop in the color he wanted.

Moghedien seems to be the kinda person that when given a check for 1 million he will complain it's not two million and that the ink is black and not blue...

Haha i just remember from english class in school. We had a huge discussion on weather the swedish word was translated to Billion or Milliard. Ended with the teacher having us do a paper about it. Found out both are correct!

It's called Milliard(10^9) and came from the french. Billion is used by american-english, Milliard is more common in non-english languages. Billion has pretty much taken over from the "thousand million" that was standard some 10+ years ago. Saying Billion now is not wrong.

I still have a char i created the day the opened up servers for preorder head starts back in april 2004. she's still not 50, infact she's 36 i believe, i recently respecced her from her pre ED slotting into IOs. She still has her one of a kind costume pattern, freedom corpse chest pattern ^^

Just skimmed it some.

First thing is performance shifter in stamina is pretty much pointless. Specially the chance for +end will not work there i think.

Put that set into Consume instead. Consume is not a damaging power.

Looks very nice

The only thing i can really see which looks odd, is her legs, it kinda looks like she's sitting down, but i assume you wanted her to look like she's risig up from the chimney.

Other than that it's a very nice picture, i absolutely adore her face.

-def is only on ablating strike, no other attacks.

The thing with dual blades is the combo system. Which gives you four diffrent combos to perform each with diffrent effect.

Weaken - lowers def and accuracy of affected targets (pbaoe)
Empower - gives you additional boost of dmg and acc
Attack vitals - places a damage over time effect on affected targets (melee cone)
Sweep - adds 50% dmg on finisher and gives a knockdown effect (pbaoe)

So no, we have no real secondary effects, one power with -def, two with knockdown. and thats it. What we do have is those comboes. They each have uses. Attack Vitals and Sweep most commonly used as they give best damage and smoothest chains as they share no powers in their combos. Weaken is in my opinion awesome for elite bosses and AVs etc.
