Nothing gets trampled faster than when theres 8 masterminds and 48 pets steamrolling through any map.
If lag isn't a problem that is.

We tried something like this in villain beta.
8 robotics masterminds, all having 6 pets each, 2 of the pets summing another 2 pets of their own (seeker drones). Was so many pets about we crashed the mission we were on
I do wonder if 8 thugs masterminds all using posse/gang war at once would blow up the server -
Last night i was playing villains some, and was on my brute Electri-Cat. Played for maybe 2 hours when my brain suddenly stopped functioning.
I was standing in the back line, trying to blast the enemies and i remember going "why the hell won't my attacks fire?", what i failed to remember was that i was playing a melee char and not a ranged one... -

and its in the right place to have more put round it when its healed.

Some crab spider arms around it? -
Rubbish computer get a new one!
Seriously tho, try fiddle with the graphic settings some. I had to take down the anti-aliasing some to move around city scape it the game lagged alot. Alternatively, fiddle with view distance some.
I personally prefered the slight reduciton in quality from lower anti-aliasing (i can't tell the diffrent, really) compared to shorter view distance (it's max). -
Same here... it's as if it's dying a slow agonizing death.
Wrote a long arsed reply once and when i clicked sumbit, servie unavailable, hit back and my reply was gone... sonofa... -
http://www.nerfbat.com/2006/04/15/what-is-a-proc/
Shows a couple meanings. I'm not sure one is more right than the other. -
Yeah it's a very annoying bug.
Usually it effects characters with Skirts. Specially the mini 2 and 3 (slitter and box hole cut outs) where it tends to revert to a normal mini skirt.
I've also seen it affect Face detail 1 (glasses) and face itself. -
Is she on a 56k dial up or something? heh.
-
Proc is actually short for Process.
Think it hails from the old MUD days. Where an item has a chance to process an effect on either you or the target. -
I always tweak my cossies
One char had 43 free tokens + whatever amount from vet rewards (i think 10-ish?)
Now she's down to 20 something, so i am using em up
ICON is the best part of City of Heroes, so i'm always there changing cossies. -
Will go with a maybe. I'm not sure i can get free to play tonight or not. But if i do i have 2 blasters in the 38-39 range i could play.
All blaster team sounds like fun and debt -

It's perfect as power armour and that's how I've been using it. I just wish AR didn't suck so bad.

Why does AR suck?
Seems fine for me. -

Aka, if you want the cyborg chest you have to pick robot arms, it's not there under normal tights.
[/ QUOTE ]
There is no cyborg chest. there are cyborg chest details, and they are both available with normal tights as well as bionic arms.
[/ QUOTE ]
There is a cyborg chest when selectin the robotic arm 1,2 or 3. Least for females.
Granted it looks pretty much like Exoproto, but it there's nonetheless. -
Figure i'll toss up my 2 inf worth on the cyborg pack now after buying it and checking it out.
Initial impression is that it's rather weak.
The Combat auras are neato, and the emotes. i'll give em that.
The Self Destruct power has it's novelty fun factor but is kinda pointless after all.
Then onto the costume pieces themselves.
Some of em are ok, i especially like the gloves, boots, and the shield chest detail + shoulders.
But it looks too detailed, everything like meshes together, even with making two distinct colors (black and white) it's so detailed it actually loses detail when looking at it. It's an oxymoron i know, but it all becomes so cluttered it's hard to actually see what it looks like. I looks ok in ICON when making the cossie, but when you get out in the world it just flows together into a blur imo. (graphic setting are on max).
I also dislike the fact you're forced to use some pieces. Aka, if you want the cyborg chest you have to pick robot arms, it's not there under normal tights. And the legs part is missing from monstrous, cause imo it would look ok with the robot claw legs, but that option is out.
So to sum up, it's ok, but not spectacular IMO it's worth it just for the heads up display and a few of the cossie pieces. Could've added more pieces then the few we get, it's pretty much only one cossie with some variations. The Wedding pack gave us many more cossie options.
Overall i'd rate it at 2 out of 5. It could've been better :| but it also could've been worse. Not sure i think it's value for money, but i am a cossie ****. -
Best of luck to you Rockjaw!
Hope you see you on the streets of Paragon City still tho! -
I would prob pay 100 for Candi LeBaux's outfit ><

Have you got a flash drive or something you can take the game around on? My CoH back up is on a flash drive cause you can just copy the game to anywhere and repoint the shortcut
[/ QUOTE ]
can zip it up and fit it on a 2gb usb stick. was faster to do that than copy over network when i wanted to see if my laptop played CoH -

hmmmm does the jetpack last 30 real life time, if i does i think it should be made into 30 usage of ingame time (it MAY last longer)
[/ QUOTE ]
30 days of real life time sadly. -

Plus the PlayNC website is going to be down from 3pmish for maintenance.
[/ QUOTE ]
Hmm I wonder what that's for?
[/ QUOTE ]
Prob just maintenance... -
The entire character in the background looks transparent. It's prolly more an image effect than how it'll look in the game.
I'll wait and see tho before speculating more. -
Cossie pack i will get just out of principle. It's cossie pieces omg! even tho i might not have any cyborg chars in mind a piece or two might look real nice
The jetpack will prob not be gotten tho, if it's 30 days of ingame time... maaaaybe. But there's already the raptor pack and zero-g pack from safeguard/mayhem and those two last until 30+ at least. So no point imo. -
Trick Arrows anything is pretty rare to be honest.
-
I got a 47 TA/A defender. She has her ups and downs.
My biggest grief i have with the set combo is that it's very vulnverable to teams which have knockback powers. With a skilled tank who herds up well, trick arrows is a devstating powerset, but as soon they scattered it becomes weak.
The powers also take awhile to set off, i usually only get the chance to use one debuff per mob before they all die. Which in a damage heavy team will make the set pretty unfun to play.
But at the same time, alot of powers in the set are really nice.
Flash arrow is a nice blind and tohit debuff power, long range and no aggro unless you put a proc in it.
Glue arrow is a nice slow, but has limited range.
Oil Slick is simply <3 <3 <3. Best power in the set by far, just sucks it works about half the time for some reason.
EMP Arrow is a pretty nice hold power, targetted aoe and bonus dmg on robots. Just takes forever to recharge.
Ice arrow is a nice isngle target hold, i took the hold from psychic ancillary and two hold is a nice bonus.
Acid arrow is a sweet power, just wish it had bigger radius. resistance and defense debuff.
Dispersion arrow is a nice location based resistance debuff. stacks nicely with acid arrow.
Poison Gas arrow is pretty nice too, the choke effect doesn't happen often, but the damage reduction on them is nice, specially vs cimeroran traitors, since they do so much dmg
I really like Trick Arrows, but in alot of teams i feel useless, which takes alot of fun out of the char. Most fun was when i played her in an all defender TF.
