  1. I kinda thought on something whihc might be a useful feature.
    When you made a build, i'd like the feature to actually select an IO then have +/- to set the level of it.
    Would neato to see how dropping a level of an IO would affect me. Also to match how i have it slotted right now in game. Like say i have a set slotted in the levels 37-39 or so, how much more benefit would i get upgrading all those to 50's.

    Maybe totally useless feature, dunno. Just something i thought on.

    Sword/Shield

    Ok, decided to make a preliminary build for my rising Sword/Shield scrapper.

    Figure i'd mostly want some ideas from you people who are better at slotting than i am! Figured i went for added defense to strengthen Shields some. She had aroudn 40% defense to aoe, 38 to ranged and with double stacked parry her melee is around 80%

    Biggest problem i see atm is the endurance consumption, 1.16 end/sec. But hoping conserve power and slotting 60-80% end reduction in the attacks with help. Along with the Numinas unique (which i already have in) Miracle (gimme!!) and the +end proc.

    Edit: I also did not put purple IOs into the build as i felt this is more realistic to start off with, purples can be bought and slotted in later for better bonuses.

    Edit: my plan was also to take hurdle over super jump, then slot in universal travel into sprint, but as that don't work... fooey!

    Edit2: forgot to slot my Steadfast 3% def one too

    That would be neato, but again, lots of work to do, as you'd need to do an aura per weapon model to make it fit the weapon.

    Say you want 5 aura per weapon, and a weapon set have 10 diffrent models, thats 50 auras to do, then say we have 5 diffrent weapon sets, it's 250 auras (fictive numbers).

  18. It's just some people feel the need to be upset and have to moan over every little thing. They also tend to overexxagerate a great deal.

    I guess you could techincally made a night elf warrior with a sword and shield, but then that is the beauty of City of Heroes. The Diversity

    I really don't think this game feels fantasy at all. It's always been and still is a comic superhero game to me. Personally i wanna see more weapons in the game.

    Is complete rubbish. It's easy enough to tell, you look at veteran badges. I did so when I came back to the game. Very few people in Steel Canyon had any badges.

    Yeah, when i played my new shield scrapper and brute, a surprisingly large number of people i ran into had no vet badges at all. So it does seem we are getting new players.

    To be honest, this last week the game has felt more alive playerwise than it did before issue 13. Now if they could only fix the fragmented tells, i think we'd notice the activity even more. Cause i've been getting alot of em, and being unable to reply to what i guess are team requests probably causes people to just solo atm :|

    And prospect of updated graphics and such which is to come. I really don't think CoH is about to die, rather the opposite!

    Well, i only played TR in beta so i dunno how i ended up being. But there were LOADS of tedius running in TR from mission objective to mission objective.

    And to be honest, City of Heroes is not bad in that aspect really. World of Warcraft, Warhammer Online, Everquest etc are all far worse when it comes to travelling.
