Two sappers at once is dangerous for almost everyone

I got two lag spikes playing last night, other than those, no lag at all. One of em lasted around 3 minutes tho, which was kinda annoying

And in all honesty, the lfg tool in city of heroes is kinda rubbish.
It's great to flag yourself for lfg, as you can indeed set it to intrested in TF/Missions/etc and a comment to it. If i'm out to do a TF i actually put in comment which tf i wanna do and flag myself as looking for TF.

Often i set it to looking for any, as i might be up for just missions or a TF, but in which case i would like a tell, usually with info if they plan to do radios only, other missions or a tf. I might be bored of radio missions that day etc.

But using the lft tool to actually find a team is where it fails. I can see who are teamed and who are solo, but i cannot see if teams are full, what they're doing etc. Because thats what it boils down to mostly, lack of information.

But, if you flag yourself as lft on one char, then log out and log in another, you will be flagged as lft on that char too without having set it.

Usually when i'm team leader i rarely have to look for people. I often get tells asking if there's room. I also have nothing against sending out a short tell asking if they would like to join my team.

If they're spamming broadcast i would say invite away.
And no they're not really same, since there's still diffrent kinds of teams. How would i know that your team is not a farming team, planning to do a TF etc etc.

I might have no intrest in farming a mission, nor have the time for a TF.

I do not accept blind invites because i do not like to be randomly invited and find out they just wanted me to pad their mission. Or some low level who goes "PL PLZ".
If that makes me arrogant and rude, so be it. It makes my gaming experience much more pleasant not having to deal with that, and knowing that those who do send out a tell, generally tend to be good polite people who are fun to play with.

It's a MMO ffs, is it so hard to interact with your fellow players?

Personally i think it's rude to sent a team invite just out of the blue. Perhaps the team you have isn't what they're looking for, missions/TF/badge hunting/farming etc etc.
Not to mention that there's lower levels players who will try invite higher levels to powerlevel them.

And i think you'd find them less rude if you just took the effort to send a tell asking beforehand "wanna join lvl xx team for some missions?"

for my maths for a year is there 12 months
the badges are broken into 3 months each for a year so it 4 badges a year
so every 3 and 6 month you seem to get a tailor token
every 9 month is a respec and finall on the 12 month is a power or something might or not so might in some people cases and the free account slot space

Well, if i understand what you meant, every 3rd and 6th month of each year we get a costume piece+token.

Not entirely correct tho. at 9 months we get one at 21 months (9th month in year 2) we get one, and we don't get one at 42 and 54 months. (6th month in year 3 and 4).

Only respec and char slot seem to be on a recurring scedule... so far.

Those slots never appeared then vanished, you were just only awarded them in the first place if you logged in within a particular time window. If you did that and got them, they were yours forever - no expiry.

Utterly and categorically untrue! Ghostraptor has confirmed it, Lighthouse has confirmed it. Once a character slot is on your account NC have no way of knowing how it got there (purchase, bonus per year, or the initial two freebies that were granted for logging on within a particular period of time), and there is no way for them to be removed once they are on your account.

The vet spec free slots are only on a limited time period before they vanish. I have six extra slots, 4 from veteran rewards and two when they introduced em.

Secondly, respecs are every 12 months not 9. Starting from month 9. So you'll get em at 9, 21, 33, 45 then will be one at 57.

Costume Tokens are given out when the veteran reward offers a costume piece.
Month 21 for example, gives a respec, shoulder cape and a free costume token.

Do you really have so little to do that you feel the need to moan over 3 days where your patrol xp doesn't work, but instead are getting even more xp, more inf and more prestige? And then those three days are up, you still have the patrol xp.

Could always use some public irc server. like the stratics network or whatever.
Stratics used to have a cityofheroes channel which i was moderating for a year, but not been there for 3 years now, so it's prob dead. They also had some moderator bots and stuff you could get in if you registered channel (was free).

I'm sorry, but are the 10 bars pf patrol xp important at 50?
if you manage to get to 50 during double xp weekend, why should you care about patrol xp? you still level at a faster rate during double xp weekend than with patrol xp, plsu during double xp weekend you get double prestige and double inf as well. with patrol xp you only get 50% more xp, no more inf or prestige.

Option A is more than valid, and it's whats gonna happen. If you so concerned with the 10 bars of patrol xp, level to 49 and stop there.

And even if you have 10 bars of patrol xp it will still count towards badge. I have a level 2 char with the patroller badge. So it would've been impossible for them to earn the 30 bars that are needed.

And also... I want the valkyrie sword to be available for dual blades as well, not just broadsword ><

You also get a valkyrie option under Tights/Smooth(?) for boots if you want a less over the top version. Gives the valkyrie scale pattern with a bit of shiney metal on the front.

Aye i know, but i want the awesome style of the lower part of the boot, the triangle looking styling without the over the top kneecap bubble.

it's not true. It does bump veteran rewards time by one month. Says 4 years 4 months on my account, and paid time 4 years 2 months. I'm supposed to get 51 month reward on 11th jan and i did not get it when i applied valk pack. Might look see if 54 month will come on 11th march instead of april. But gotta wait until i get to that billing period to see it.

Some random thoughts on the Valkyrie costume pieces.

Overall they look awesome. But something i noticed when i was playing around in icon for a couple of hours.

- I want boots without that big bump on knees. I can go without the bump on gloves, shoulders and wings. But not boots. Two versions without the bumps, wings and no wings.

- For the top and bottom valkyrie pattern, i'd like to see the scales being larger so they actually match the scalemail skirt.

- I'd like to see shoulders without the bump but with the wings on em.

And lastly, most a curisoity, why are the wings so much bigger on males than females? female wings are perfect size imo, on the males they just look ridiculously huge.
Also there's alot of clipping issues with these new wings. Specially when they flap (they go thru my head) and when standing idle, they clip into my legs and back.

Fastest char to 50 was Sapphic Neko the scrapper version, which i leveled from 1 to 41 or 42 over a double xp weekend. I think when i hit 50 i had played her for 46 hours in total. The original brute version of Sapphic Neko took much longer, prob around 150 hours over the course between issue 11 and 12, mostly due to there not being many teams villain side so i had to solo, which i could only stand to do for a mission or two

Slowest was my first 50, which took around 250 hours in total over 5 months.
