Boost Range is the real reason why people like energy.
-
I would say roll spines/wp, great aoe and a good amount of survivability.
-
You should look into my friend's build, very very nice build.

I probably wouldn't focus too much on + hp because with the accolades and dull pain you'll be at the scrapper hp cap. I'm not entirely sure how PvP works but I would definitely focus on getting recharge then defense in that order. Also you can buy Eitheral Shift and it will allow you to pick up another power instead of choose phase shift.
-
Happy Birthday Bass! May your next one be even better!
-
I would say go Fire/Dark, because nothing is more fun then Tar Patch + Fire Breath + Fire Ball and Rain of Fire.
-
It would be sad but I'd make my money back eventually

[ QUOTE ]
Ok I narrowed my next project down to these two until we get some new power set to play with in between my fire/sd
Late game if any one has any input
I can get both close to the same regen rate not exact but close using IO's etc so that is not a big issue (I come out overall more with wp but nothing to make me go wow) endurance is equal
With WP I planned out some builds I can get to 33% on type positions or close to on all the defenses plus 52% resistance to s/l a little resistance to other stuff psionic resistance and a plus some defense debuff resistance from heighten senses
con: no heal for big burst damage
fire/reg
I basically have two heals in recon and dull pain plus dp gives me a hp boost
i can get to roughly 20-22% to all three positional defense
I basically have two tier 9's with no crash in MOG and IH
About 24% s/l resistance with tough resilience stacked
con: no defense debuff resistance
So how does fire/wp and fire/reg hold up under stf; ITF and solo AV's
yes yes I know my katana/wp at 24 would be better at surviable but man I love fire and it's damage I am hooked
[/ QUOTE ]
Regeneration has no debuff resistance to anything for that matter lol. -
Here is my fire/regen, not too sure on the best dps I've put out but I usually use incinerate > gfs > cremate. It has in Fast Healing Panacea: Heal/End, Heal, and Chance for Hit points/endurance and in Tough it has Gladiator's Armor:Res/End and +defense.

*puts on a Werner mask*
[/ QUOTE ]
Where did you get your Werner mask? I did three years of trick or treating in PI and got a stupid States and LR mask. -
I figured out a way to get PvP and everything the way we want it, but a huge sum of stock in NCSoft, then pull your I'm an investor card and I want this NAOW and it will be done.
-
But wait if you call now I'll double your order and throw in a free ginsu knife!
-
[ QUOTE ]
While I find these threads hilarious, I do think it would be pretty cool if the devs could do something productive about pvp drops.
[/ QUOTE ]
They did, they changed the drop rates to rep based kills only, meaning that you can no longer get drops in arena and only in pvp zones and because pvp sucks so horribly in this game I do not foresee prices going down anytime soon. -
I am looking for any level Panacea: Heal/Rech and Heal/End/Rech on Virtue. PM me a price
-
If there is one saying that has stuck with me through my years of game play in CoH is the developers change the maze and the mice find another way to the goal.

In Catalyst Control Center:
Under Display Options:
3d Refresh Rate Override: Same as Desktop
Under 3D settings:
Anti-Aliasing: 4X (Temporal Disabled) (2X for better performance)
Anisotropic Filtering: 4X (2X for better performance)
Catalyst A.I.: Disabled (I've seen no benefit in leaving this enabled)
Mimmap Detail Level: High Quality
Wait for Vertical Refresh: Always On (Disabling this will yield better performance, but will causes screen tearing. YMMV.)
Adaptive Anti-Aliasing: Disabled
API Specific:
Direct3D:
Enable geometry instancing: Yes
Support DXT texture formats: Yes
Alternate pixel center: No
OpenGL:
Triple Buffering: Yes (If you disabled Vertical Refresh, do NOT enable this)
Force 24-bit Z-buffer depth: No
[/ QUOTE ]
I can't find these three on my catalyst menu? I just recently got the 4870 with the updated driver package. -
I would definitely like to see this as a balance issue in comparison to other secondaries. As I pointed out, other secondaries have debuff resistance to add to their damage mitigation. I would definitely like to see recharge debuff resistance put into Resilience to a magnitude of 30-40% just like Quickness. I'd also like to see a 50% regeneration debuff resistance in Dull Pain, it would act like Reconstruction's Toxic resistance buff whenever clicked. It would last the duration of Dull Pain.
