    The PvE God...

I'd say pick Fire Melee/Shield Defense because Dark Melee's animations look like you're punching enemies with poop all over your hands.
  2. Ah those character bring back such fond memories of my early days of play when I had no idea of what the hell I was doing. I remember my first character was an ice/ice blaster with no aim or build up, only ice blaster and bitter ice blast, all the melee powers from ice manipulation, and three travel powers.

It was that way for a few months until I joined an SG and learned the ways slowly but surely lol.
  3. Welcome back Bill, please help me with my new 4870, I'm going crazy.

Had a friend get a PO drop last night in the Arena while we were testing something. They are dropping in the Arena.

I thought pvp drops were now rep based? I thought the arena didn't have rep?

I'm always happy to see power sets proliferated, so please don't take this post as a sour grapes post. With that said, is anyone a little disappointed that the most wanted sets weren't proliferated.

Here's what would've made me jump for joy:

Blasters -Dark Blast (though I admit, Rad Blast is a fine choice)

    Brutes - Regeneration

    Controller - Dark Miasma

Corruptor - Poison (though Trick Arrow was a fine choice too)

    Defender - Poison

    Dominator - Illusion

    MM - Kinetics

Scrapper - Super strength or energy melee or fire epic powers

Stalker - Shields or fire melee

Tanker - Spines or energy aura

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Master Minds getting Kinetics, lol.

The new difficulty settings are just like the icing on the cake, but what an icing!

Seriously, it's like they spiked the icing with cocaine or something
  7. I need help with this build, this is what I've come up with so far but any further improvements would be greatly appreciated.

Enhanced Difficulty Options - Players can now fine-tune their difficulty levels by telling the game exactly how they want to be treated. They can choose to be regarded as a specific size team (even if they are soloing), and even have control over the level they are detected to be when it comes to the dynamic spawn system. So if you ever wanted to see if your Scrapper could take on a map that is populated for an 8 person team, four levels higher than your own, now you can! The difficulty settings of the mission owner dictate how the mission is handled, just as before, and you can change your difficulty settings at any Hero Corp.'s Representative in Paragon City or Fateweaver in the Rogue Isles.

This is the best QoL feature ever, and a great way to ensure you'll get my money, devs. Well played.

It looks like we better hold off on buying these purples, I'm willing to bet there'll be a sharp drop in prices with hordes of scrappers taking on 8 man maps by themselves.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I was thinking the same exact thing, but now with that said I am going to be a farm king, between a fire/kin and a spines/dark we will be farming fools.
  10. Energy Melee would just be down right evil in a Scrappers hands. I cannot wait.
  11. Aww really? It's so bloody cool looking though... How does it compete DPS wise?
  12. OOOOO RIGHT!!! This is going to be interesting.....
  13. Awesome sauce! Lightning Rod + Shield Charge = win!

Okay so now how does Electric Melee compare to other sets?
  14. That's why I think specific builds would be the best solution. It seems like it would be the best way to get around this new timer.

I need some help with this build I am trying to keep it as cheap as possible while making him tough. He is made for farming PvP enhancements and will be spending most of his time in War Burg.

  16. Ok so now we all need to colaborate and figure out away to get around these stupid timers, which zones to use, ATs to use, etc...

Now my plan was to create a Fire/FF controller and a regeneration scrapper with revive and slot revive with as many recharges as possible. Then time it so he will die every 5 mins and have revive ready to go.

I think with his regeneration rate he should be able to to live for around 5 mins but I definitely need people's help. Any ideas?
  17. Guys there is no reason to complain about PvP drops, in a few weeks there will be a proliferation of knowledge about how to get around these silly timers, I for one intend to find out how to do this.
  18. Targeted AoE and it also take Knock back sets as well. Good combination is 5 set of Positron's Blast with the Force Feedback: Chance for + Recharge.
  19. Hola senor! Regeneration benefits a lot from recharge and defense bonuses. In this build I have made I have tried to focus on keeping superior enhancements out to keep cost down but I have given you a good amount of defense and recharge. Unfortunately I didn't include Hasten but you could replace Maneuvers with Hasten. Over all it should probably cost you around 600 million influence for this build but could be significantly lower if you buy your luck of the gambler: increased recharge/defense enhancements with merits. Good luck!

    Nice looking build.

    Few things...
With the kind of recharge you have on the build, you could drop Scorch and just go with Inc->GFS->Cre->FS. Could use those slots to slot up tough with 5 pieces Aiges for the AOE defense put in a set of Oblitiration on FSC to pick up the melee defense you lost from ToD. Then you could free up a slot from health and just leave it with 3 miracle (Unique, health and health/end) + a regular health IO. Could swap out the lotg on PF for a kismet unique, that little bit of recharge does nothing for you. Now you have a power pick and 2 free slots to play with. I would personally pick CP to help with the endurance when you need to, but those 2 slots well I have no clue where to put those...

    [/ QUOTE ]

Panacea when six slotted gives you 3.13% of Melee defense and I never took Fire Sword, I don't like the way it looks, silly looking scimitar. I thought I did take Conserve Power???
  24. This is why I love the scrapper boards over every other board on here, a lot of people here are numbers people, my kind of people. I am home
  25. LOL Nihlii

This is going to be my build, in True Grit there will be a full set of Panacea. In Tough there will be a Gladiator's Armor: + defense. It is capable of running Inc > GFS > Cremate.
