And you might not have understood the QR before Fleeting's post.
QR is short for Quick Reply, the posting field located directly below the thread. It's easy to use and post a quick response, but it has the downside of listing as a reply to the last poster.
People here use the QR to denote that it's just a Quick Reply and isn't necessarily a response to the poster it's listed as.
Since Fleet's post has pretty much nothing to do with yours, it's pretty clear he was not intending it to serve as a response to yours. -

Two-Tone Scientist Coat
[/ QUOTE ]
On the downside, the buttons aren't independently colorable now.
Color 1: Coat
Color 2: Inner section
The buttons take on both colors with outer "ring" being color 2, inner section being color 1.
Not bad and a nice addition, but it would be nice if we could have both versions: the old style and this new style. -

Nope. Not true. I just had to bug it 2 days ago. Didn't work in RWZ unless it was on a smooth surface. It had to be non-tiled. Not rubble. Not soil. I tested it for over an hour and then bugged it. It did work every time in missions though.
[/ QUOTE ]
Are you saying:
A) The Oil Slick Target is refusing to con as an Enemy unless on a smooth surface
or
B) Oil Slick refuses to ignite unless on a smooth surface
A is the bug that's currently going around in MA (though it has nothing to do with surfaces it's on).
B is "normal" buggy OSA behavior. -

I'm honestly surprised this thing has not only remained here, but also is intact.
Oh well.

And one other thing. The slick has a bug with controller pets . . . when the slick lights, controller pets will run out of the area of fire. For pets that have ranged attacks, they can continue to attack foes inside the fire area from outside. Fire Imps, however, have no ranged attacks, so they will run out of the area and just wait unless there are other foes outside of the fire area to attack.
[/ QUOTE ]
Last Night my imps did not run out of the fire, and they did fight while oil slick was ignited.....maybe it was a bug....I don't have too many trick arrow players to test with.
[/ QUOTE ]
This bug was "fixed" a while back, but, like with many things associated with Oil Slick, it has a tendency to reappear from time to time. -
[ QUOTE ]
3. it has 2 base durations, 30 seconds of knockdown/slow/-def, 10 seconds of damage, they are independent, if you immediately ignite it, you'll still have the other debuffs after the fire goes out
[/ QUOTE ]
It's 15 seconds of Fire, not 10.
EDIT: And here's a big rundown of what OSA does and how it works.
When using Oil Slick Arrow (OSA), you will be given a targeting reticule. Select where you want to fire; the targeting rings will turn red if the targeted area is invalid.
After you have fired OSA, it will summon two pseudopets. One will be Oil Slick Oil, the second will be Oil Slick Target. These are behind the scenes names, so don't worry if you don't actually see them.
Oil Slick Oil is the large black patch. It has an auto-hit -DEF, -RunSpeed and chance for Knockdown. It has a duration of 30s.
Oil Slick Target is the targetable, enemy conning... thing. It has 10,000% RES to all damage types except for Energy and Fire. ONLY Energy or Fire damage can defeat OST. It has a duration of 30s. After 30s, it will despawn along with the OSO.
If/when OST is defeated, it summons a third pseudopet: Oil Slick Burn. By various means, OST sometimes does not summon OSB. This can be due to a variety of reasons which, to this day, still causes Castle great deals of frustration.
Oil Slick Burn is the huge patch of fire. It deals Fire damage every .2s for 15s. NOTE: If you defeat OST at the 29s mark, OSB will still run the full 15s. -

'd imagine it has to do with the pets somehow. Is +regen more beneficial to pets, thus the change? Or is it a case of periodic heal would be too powerful, thus the change?
[/ QUOTE ]
Pretty much.
The Heal Tick power (Soothing Aura) is actually almost twice as powerful as the +Regen power (Suppress Pain). Simply put, this was shown to be too powerful for a Mastermind in Bodyguard mode and made them nigh-unkillable.
It was changed to be +Regen so that there'd still be some level of threat to the MM. -
[ QUOTE ]
This power constantly going buggy doesn't help TA's reputation.
[/ QUOTE ]
Completely untrue.
It merely reinforces it.
OSA is known to cause Castle to pull his hair out. This is just another case of it acting up. -
[ QUOTE ]
By the way, one thing I don't like about Thunderstrike on Dominator is knockback. How come Brute/Stalker get knockdowns? Is it because Dominator has higher modifier for control values which make Thunderstrike a knockback?
[/ QUOTE ]
Because Elec Assault Thunderstrike was ported over from Blaster Elec Manipulation which does have knockback.
Elec Melee's Thunderstrike was specifically changed to have knockdown instead because it'd be too much of a hindrance to the melee ATs otherwise. -
[ QUOTE ]
Judging from the numbers, how is MM's better than Corruptor's?
[/ QUOTE ]
Never said either was better, just gave numbers.
However, it's worth noting that, originally, MMs had the same thing: ticking heals every 4s. That made things odd since that level of healing going down with an MM in bodyguard mode made them pretty much unkillable.
So Suppress Pain is actually the weaker version by default.
[ QUOTE ]
Edit: I guess MM's aura benefits more on ATs with higher HP like Brute. I wonder how much Brute can get with MM's aura.
[/ QUOTE ]
Brute HP at 50: 1499.3
HP gained per tic: 6.247
6.247 x (1 + 3.9) = 30.611 HP/s -

4:00 PAM?
Hrm, that'll be tricky.
Good catch, thanks -TheOcho -
[ QUOTE ]
main thing i'd like to know is what will happen with Hero and Villain SG's ???
[/ QUOTE ]
They turn into delicious candy. -
[ QUOTE ]
Just curious, how is Supress Pain comparing to Corruptor's version? I have a 45 Sonic/Pain and the 4s heal is very small. It's not good enough to keep me alive if I am under attack but it is good when I stand beside my bro's /pain. The stacking heal is ok.
[/ QUOTE ]
At 50, a Mastermind's Suppress Pain, once slotted, will give 390% +Regen.
At 50, a Corruptor's Soothing Aura, once slotted, will heal for 86.14 HP every 4s.
At 50, a Mastermind has 803.2 HP.
With 390% +Regen, the Mastermind will gain:
3.347 x (1 + 3.9) = 16.399 HP/s
With the Corruptor's aura, the Mastermind will gain:
86.14 / 4 = 21.535 HP/s
EDIT: I keep getting the names mixed up. -
Thank you for the post, Mr. Harlick. It's very interesting to hear, though some parts do not jive with what I've observed in-game. I'll have to make another run soon and pay extra special attention in case there's something afoot.
Looking forward to seeing the changes you've got in mind though. -

Has anyone doing the Hero TF see him use his phase power?
[/ QUOTE ]
I never saw it, but I will say that it seemed to me that using the temp powers (though it required multiple stacks) seemed to turn off the "unstoppable" (re: only taking 1 damage from an attack). I think the phase was replaced with crazy huge resists.
[/ QUOTE ]
This was my experience as well. He never phased, but periodically throughout the fight we would ntice that his hit points seemed to have stopped moving even though our attacks were still hitting perfectly fine, so we'd nail him with the Ugly-[censored]-Laser-Guns-From-Hell, and then we'd be back to turning him into confetti.
[/ QUOTE ]
Correct.
Hero TF Reichsman has no "Unaffected" phase. He instead has overlapping +RES "toggles." Each dose of the DGR turns off one of those "toggles" for a short time. Fully shielded, Reichsman has 99% RES. After a few hits from the DGRs, he only has 7%. -

I love this bug.
Went against a spawn with 4 Drones in it. The explosions wouldn't stop!
Utterly. Awesome. -

The official release dates of the boosters #4 and #5 is Soon™.
The official release date of Going Rogue is Soon™.
So, it seems that they'll all be released at exactly the same time.

Fixed that for ya, Zombie. -
[ QUOTE ]
Not saying it would be the best idea for them; then again they did allow all the prestige sprints to be gained via vet. reward...so...there is a precedent.
[/ QUOTE ]
In fact, there's precedent for the exact opposite:
The Vet Reward Arachnos Chest Emblem was originally the exact same that players got via purchasing the CoV Collector's Edition. This was pointed out and the Devs replaced the Vet Reward version with a different model, thus assuring the CoV Collector's Edition version was solely obtainable through that. -

Does anyone else imagine that their pet, Singy, makes a gentle, pulsing "wub wub wub" sound?
[/ QUOTE ]
That's because Singy wub wub wubs yoo.
<3 Singy. -

How do you complement a well played Trick Arrow Defender? I don't want to hear "nice heals" anymore. What does one say?
Good arrows?
[/ QUOTE ]
I'll settle for, "nice work." -
[ QUOTE ]
Oh cool. So I can order any Destined One's death, and subsequent annihilation by Arbiter Drone and character deletion? Mmm, the grief potential...
[/ QUOTE ]
Sure. That's exactly what you can do. -

...what the <@#$%>
One of the ARBITERS?

That's what he said.
And the badge is "Arbiter."
