Blasters do tend to have a rough time the higher they go as enemy HP and resists (DMG and Mez) outpace their damage output a bit. At those levels, Blasters tend to live up to their "glass cannon" nickname.
All I can say is keep at it. It took me forever to get a 50 Blaster, but I'm pretty happy I did.
Another option as well would be to find a primary that can supply enough mitigation as well. AR isn't exactly the greatest on that aspect. Ice/ and even Energy/ (for the KB) are both pretty survivable on their own. -
Well, a solder will be better at electronics work and/or keeping two metal items together.

Not particularly.
Aion doesn't really interest me too much. And even if it did, it'd savage my poor old comp something fierce.
Lineage and Guild Wars? Eh. Fantasy isn't quite my cup of tea.
Exteel? A nice diversion now and then, but it's already free.
So, no. I get all the NC entertainment I want/need with just my CoX sub. -

Quote:This?Isn't there also one where someone changed the big screen in GV so Recluse's broadcast was broken up by a Rick Roll?

There is, or at least used to be, a floating recruitment poster in Mercy.
And I don't mean, it was floating off the wall. It was floating, face down, about 4 stories off the ground. You could even stand on it. Funny thing was, you couldn't see it from above. It was only visible from below. -
Glee! Hero forums which look heroic. Thanks, Zom!

Quote:Pistols users do tend to be portrayed in the gray areas of morality as far as comics go. So it makes sense for Dual Pistols to be one of the headliner Sets for Going Rogue, an expansion all about the gray area.I want Rayguns. Sorry, but I can't think of super-heroes who shoot people with bullets and we already have Assault Rifle. As has been said "any fool can pull a trigger". And they do everyday. Doesn't make you a super-hero.
That said, I still want 'em. -

To view yours, click the Private Messages link up in the greeting bar. When you get to the PM menu, find the drop box under the fill bar labeled "Jump to Folder".
Select Sent Items and you'll be directed to your outbox. -

Change your main bookmark to that and it'll show the English forums with subforums opened. -
Quote:Yes.Hmmmm.... I hadn't considered the effect of Power Boost on EMP Arrow. Does the defense buff bonus of Power Boost apply to defense debuffs as well?
For reference, EMPA+PBU, once slotted, is a 65s Mag 3 Hold. Which also has a chance for +1 Mag, which is enough to hold most Bosses.
Plus PBU's also a decent +DMG boost. While it is on a pretty long recharge, it's nice to have for a really good hit. -
Bumped my Dark/EM Tank up from 15 to 20
Got my Fire/Regen Scrap up from 24 to 25
And I moved my Huntsman up from 35 to 36
Yeah, I didn't do a whole lot of super leveling. -
Quote:From the Press ReleaseMy theory is that only toons in Praetoria will be switching sides. Once you are back in Paragon City or the Rogue Isles you will be back to what you always were. It's only a theory and not based on any fact, rumor or desire on my part. It's just how I think it will probably wind up working.
Quote:For the first time, hero characters can become villains and vice versa, enabling hero archetypes to cross over to the Rogue Isles and villain archetypes to experience Paragon City
As for the APPs/PPPs, that remains to be seen. It's already known (and has been since the badges first appeared) that there are "betrayal" versions of the Patron badges. I would imagine though that it go like so:
If Villain goes rogue before getting Patron - Villain will get access to Ancillary pools, not Patron pools.
If Villain goes rogue after getting Patron - Villain will keep access to the Patron pool. -
Quote:Sure, that's fine. If it works for you, then it works for you. Really, people, c'mon. We're not gonna sic the Slotting Police on you if you like doing things your own way.*On a related note, my controller just got Acid Arrow. It recharges very fast. I was just going to throw an Accuracy and End Reducer in it and call it a day since I have lots of slot-hungry powers. Will that work well? I mean the main aspect of it is the -DR and you can't slot for that so is there much point to tricking it out? I'm not running into a lot of stuff I can't hit so maxing out the -def aspect seems like overkill.
Quote:Oh. Procs. I should probably proc it up, huh?
Could? Yes.
* - Yet.
EDIT: And for note, I like using 5 slots in my AA:
2x Lysosome HOs (Acc/-DEF/-ToHit)
2x Rech IOs
1x Achilles' Heel -RES proc -
Quote:It wouldn't be so bad if the Hero skin wasn't so... grey. It's kinda monochrome.Look at the concurrency. These boards are much faster than the old ones, but we're having load much higher than we did before as people come in to check out the new shiny.
I personally vastly prefer the villain skin after months of testing in the hero version.
Let's see some highlights or something! -
For Damage, you, the Defender, won't really be doing most of it. You will, however, be giving your team the opportunity to do a whole lot more though:
Acid and Disruption Arrows. LOVE them! Each will put out 20% -RES. Acid won't self-stack, but with enough +Rech, Disrupt will. That'll push the output to 40% -RES normally, and 60% -RES in a high-octane build.
Oil Slick Arrow: Max out DMG and Rech, as soon as possible. 3 DMG, 3 Rech is the SO rule of thumb. Once you graduate to IOs, you can get the same core values easier and have a slot or two left over for extras. I suggest the Achilles' Heel -RES proc and the Impeded Swiftness DMG proc (Chance for smashing)
And then there's your AoEs. Fistful is a must, Explosive is hit or miss and Rain of Arrows is the reason you took the set. -
That and the damage tics (and thus the sleep breaking) happens in a short, quick burst instead of a long, drawn-out, rooted animation.
With RoA, you fire it off and can move right about when the arrows are landing and thus the foes are waking up.
With FA, you're standing still for 3.3s. All while those enemies are now awake and returning fire. -

Been using that feature on other forums and I can't begin to describe how much of a pain it was to quote multiple posters before compared to using this simple little feature. -
Yep. Was Mapserving like crazy for a while. Decided to log and spend some time getting acquainted with the new forums.
