FFG is 13.3% DEF
Acid is 26.6% -RES
Poison Gas Trap... I don't recall.
Seeker Drones got boosted to 6.65% -ToHit and 26.6% -DMG, I believe.
And though you didn't ask:
Triage Beacon and Caltrops are unchanged.
Web Grenade is boosted for Immob (Defender mods)
Trip Mine and Time Bomb both do less damage for Defenders than for Corrs (and Blasters).
NOTE: These numbers were as of the 8/19 closed beta patch. They may have changed since. -

Hooray for Cometshooter!
Also, this thread has a severe lacking of lesbian Hellions. -
Quote:No thank you. With Energy Manipulation having the secondary effect of "Foe Disorient" for some powers, how about this for an idea.
Power Bolt (chance of Foe Disorient)
Power Blast (chance of KD)
Energy Torrent (chance of Foe Disorient)
Power Bolt (chance of KB)
Sniper Blast (chance of KB & Foe Disorient)
Power Push (chance of KB)
Exsplosive Blast (chance of KD or Foe Disorient)
Nova (KB and Foe Disorient)
I feel this here would help with the resists found late game and add a bit more control over powers and give it a bit of mitigation without losing its roots.
Knockback is a greatly underestimated mitigation tool. Think about it. To even come close to matching current Energy's mitigation value, all those Stun chances you put in? They would need to be at least Mag 4. Anything less would not provide the same benefit as the KB.
Also, Power Push? Chance of KB? No. -
Quote:Because this is an Issue, not just a simple patch. No, that's the purpose of the training room in general. I mean why is this a "closed" update. Most of the update test in the training room aren't closed.
Issues are generally very large additions to the game, be it in the form of new power sets, new zones or even entirely new game mechanics. For this reason, Issues require much more intensive and directed testing as their changes have a greater effect on the game as a whole. -
Wow... I'm gonna miss your snark, AC. The forum's gonna be a little different without you around.
Take care, though, and best of luck! -

Technically.
Oil Slick will sometimes fail to ignite. This bug has persisted for so long that it's become the "standard" behavior of the power. Attempts at fixing it occasionally get tossed around, but so far nothing to date has solved it. That said, OSA is still a good power to have around.

Quote:When can I expect my Closed Beta lifetime membership card? So, A requirement for getting into Closed Beta is not loving me.
Anyway, OP, nobody is going to tell you for two very big reasons:
A) Players won't tell you because we don't bloody know.
and
B) Devs won't tell you because then they'd be swamped with people gaming the system in order to get an early peek instead of finding people who are good testers.
We don't know what their criteria are and they're not inclined to elaborate. -
Quote:That works. Thanks, Zom!OK, think I got it licked for the Hero Skin. Re-cut-and-paste from here.

Using Hero Skin and Hero settings. Black background for the QR and WYSIWYG editors.
-
Wanted to say thanks again for all the work you've put into this, Zombie. And that goes for you too, Aggelakis, Fleet, Diellan, and anyone else I might've missed.
I do have one complaint though: With the 8/12 version of the Hero Skin, the black background causes the background of the Editor to be black as well (at least in Firefox 3.5.2). That's a bit of a hassle to try and post anything. I can work around it by changing text to white, but still.
Been dabbling to see if there's an easy way to fix it, but I'm not that well-versed.hat

Quote:The comment is the context.Maybe I'm just too old but looking at the twitter posts is like looking at a bunch of disjointed and out of context comments. I get the feeling I'm only seeing about one word in 10 of a conversation.
That's the "draw" of Twitter. It allows short, immediate, off the cuff comments. Unless you see an "@NameHere" preceding the comment, the message isn't responding to anything.
And if you do, then you can click the "in reply to NameHere" portion to see what the message is replying to. -

Wow, GF... you guys are tossing out invites like there's no tomorrow. Coolness.
Not surprised to hear about Closed Beta continuing. Good to know though. -
Curse you, Devs!!!! */em shakefist*

Quote:As a participant in past closed betas here and a viewer of the 15 clopen beta, I can, and will, declare bull on that statement.Basically, that beta accomplished the same that any of the other 'normal' betas have been doing. They got about the same amount of stuff fixed and released it in about the same time period;
The 15 clopen beta was a travesty. -
Quote:Now that's a pretty big incentive to keep mum.
- Players removed from the Closed Beta phase will not be considered a "player in good standing", and even if they qualify for the "Veteran" Pool for Going Rogue Closed Beta, they will not be offered an invitation to that Closed Beta.
So yeah. Closed Beta. Fight Club. You know the rules. -
This may be due to the changes they implemented to keep non-Beta Testers out of the Character Creator.
-
Task Forces have always required characters to be of the minimum. We've never been able to SK into them. I see no reason why that would change.

Quote:Actually, yes. Yes there is.Positron's statement could apply to several of those, or to some private conversation he had with Back Alley Brawler. I *think* it probably applies to the statement about i16 bugs. There's no way to be sure
Posi's tweet reads:
Quote:@CoHBABs You've jinxed yourself now.about 2 hours ago from TweetDeck in reply to CoHBABs
And yes, it's the bug fixing one.
