If you want to do this TF in a specific way, then make your OWN group and cherry pick who you invite. Tell them up front how you intend to do the missions.
The only thing this task force needs changed is to have the Rikti Crotch Shot cinematic removed.

Wow. So the "this is pretty random" aspect was instead, "give to my friends and don't bother participating and coming back to look at this thread every day".

Quote:MC Hammer and parachute pants were early 90s.For what it's worth, "The Eighties" had a pretty distinctive ("dark and gritty", supposedly) style in comic books, too, that had not-much to do with Hammer Pants or big hair.
...not that I'm any more in for a Rob Liefeld booster pack than a MC Hammer booster, but I do think the first is more likely than the second. -
Quote:Yes, but:An entire booster pack of nothing but shoulder pads and big hair?
None of the hairstyles will correctly attach to Huge males, and instead float an inch above their heads like Resistance hair, which is still not fixed.
None of the hairstyles will recolour correctly, forcing yellow, black or grey, like the new Steampunk goggle hat.
All of the hairstyles will cause Huge male skulls to collapse during idle animations, like every single hairstyle since launch.
No belts with belt loops will be added. No idea why belt loops are so difficult.
No belts which can be worn with jackets will be added.
Jean jackets will be added, but their sleeves will not match and they will give Huge males a 15 inch waist, like the Steampunk pack. But, maybe they will have back emblems (very 80s punk). -

Please remove any hard-coded colours from the new costume pieces. Yellow decorations and grey hat hair are extremely limited use of these art resources. Unless I have a yellow character, I can't really fit bright yellow buckles into it, and yes, people have been known to use costume pieces outside of the original intent. I thought that was the whole point of having a flexible costume creator.

Please get rid of/provide a "None" option for travel power effects. To this day, I scratch my head over the visual effect that comes from Fly/Hover/Combat Jumping/Superjump.
Superman's hands and feet don't fart air when he flies or leaps tall buildings. Acutally, I don't know of any comic book heroes that suffer from this embarassing affliction. -
I really wish they'd allow combining existing auras with the incarnate auras, because none of the new auras in the last two years have the same "pop".
Here's an example with original level 30 auras compared to auras later added to the game. The old auras have a powerful glow to them, whereas the newer auras are just... slapped on top without any special effects.
We can assume that the new incarnate auras will also lack the old 'glow' if used on eyes.
I would pay money to have dual-auras just so I could combine the old eye glows with the Incarnate auras. -
Are you logging tells? Maybe some sort of chat log buffer overflow?
Edit: And the seagull was Zwillinger. He isn't tech support. -

This happens on my lower powered machine, with which I have to run the game on lower graphics settings. It might be a missing or bad mipmap in the cursor itself. It's a sort of trial and error thing; I'll have to sit down and find out which setting is causing it, by relaunching the game over and over with different settings each time.

I bought a laptop almost identical in stats to that about a month ago. Mine has the same CPU and the same graphics chip, although mine currently has 3GB of RAM. I didn't expect it to play CoX at all, but I was pleasantly surprised. The bottleneck is not the graphics chip. It might be the shared memory or the CPU, but I'm not entirely sure. I just know that adjusting many of the graphics settings doesn't boost or hurt framerate (It runs the same with 4x FSAA or none at all)
It struggles with any sort of crazy raid or zone event with 30+ people on screen (which is why I suspect the CPU is the bottleneck), but is fine for an 8-person mission team.
Here's a link to mine:

Quote:Fringe handles causality as there being many versions of all possible events. If you go back in time and change something, you spawn a new tree of events without erasing the first. The two universes handled in the show are just two of countless others. Peter is probably... somewhere, but these two versions of events are ones in which he is not present.I still am not processing Peter vaporizing in any fashion that makes sense. How did he "fulfill his purpose" and how did that make him vaporize?
I don't know if I buy the time stream healing itself by eliminating the irritant, so to speak.
At the very least I want an explanation and, while we're at it, it's about time the Observers were explained also.
While we're at it - how did Bell travel back and forth until he became charged to the point that he couldn't return? How much damage did he cause in the process? Walter takes a lot of heat for the initial incursion, but Bell must have his share as well.
Walter ripped a hole in the membrane of the Universes and stepped through it. William strained himself through the membrane without altering it, like mechanically separated chicken smushed through a fine grate. They were different processes with different consequences: one damages the membrane while leaving the traveller intact; the other damages the traveller while leaving the membrane intact.
My theory on the Observers is that they are the descendents of modern day humans that go back in time with the machine. They will have plenty of time to evolve that strangeness. -
Quote:Are there? Because you say so? I know this will be a shock to you, but it's not your job to filter suggestions to the developers. There's this swarm of forum flies that, without fail, descend to devour any suggestion submitted here as though each is some personal attack against the status quo. Most of that crowd have "Forum Cartel" under their names and are mystified why the rest of us hate coming here and interacting with them.Second, there are so many *bigger* issues to deal with - yes, even in terms of animation and powers - that this just seems ridiculous to even bring up.
The suggestions forum is an archive of any and every suggestion. You don't need to sort, rate, categorize or trash it; there are people at Paragon Studios paid to do that and they will do an immensely more fair and balanced job at it than you. -
Quote:What a strange and incorrect definition of soloing. I suppose, per your rules, Masterminds and Illusion people can't claim to have soloed anything because a pet did a lot of work.Yeah, but with ghost robots and a Widow. Hardly solo.
It wasn't so much you as it was them doing the work and you being a distraction.
Heck, Warworks alone can drop a Pylon themselves twice as fast as any Tanker with no player contribution other than some healing or taunting. They're that broken good.
Don't get me wrong, I've taken down Kraken, Eochai and a Monster Island Lattice with them myself, but I would never call it "solo".
But hey, Sally is a GM too, right? So there's always that.
