While I agree with everyone "those are really good" I do have to say that something about the way you draw faces bothers me. Especially the eyes, just seem off from the rest of the body. That's really my only complaint though.
-
Ok first off, these people are just kidding. I mean I hate you all equally...
It's kind of a wierd way of saying great job I wish I could do that too, or had the patience to learn. I've said it a few times but that doesn't mean I'm gonna sit on my butt and complain. Y'all haven't inspired me to pick up art again. As a matter of fact my friend believes in me so much that he got a drawing book for my birthday today.
Now that said, there is a difference between practice and natural talent. It's pretty much fact that which side of the brain you use makes a huge impact on what you are talented or not talented in. I'm very artsy, whichever side that is, I have inherited my parents' music abilities and have enjoyed that very much. My father is a wonderful artist and I used to be in art class in middle school. Drawing didn't come as easily as music did so I took to music faster than art. This happens to a lot of people when they're young because they don't have as much patience as they do when they're older; so they do what's easiest.
Now I think anyone can do anything, I very much agree with that statement but there are some that can do so much more than others can just from natural ability. Me being a musician find that there are tons of people that can play a piece of music, but most of them are clones of what their teacher tell them to play. There are very few that like to take music and make it their own, which is what I do. That is exactly why I hate you artists that can draw exactly what you envision and I'm sure you'd hate me because I can make a piece of music sound exactly like I hear it in my head.
Honestly it's what you make of it. It takes a combination of the ability to do it from the start and the want to improve on that. And that is my view on this, take it as you will. -

In the lobby of the watchtower in Grandville is a statue of each of Lord Recluse's lieutenants. At the base of this statue is a plaque that, when you click on, brings up a text box with tabs. The tabs are for the Archetype, and it goes into detail about the powers (including the hard numbers) that that Patron will give that Archetype. (Thus you can easily look at all the patron powers for your AT, and even those not for your AT).
You are given a mission to visit each of these plaques before you choose your patron.

Positron, how do pools that have a drawn weapon (like the Mace) work with powersets that already have to draw a weapon (Ninja Blade, AR, etc)?
[/ QUOTE ]
I was wondering the exact same thing.
And for those of you complaining....do you not see that Stalkers can hold you, placate and then snipe ya? I don't like that at all.
However, I do see complaints from MMs acceptable. Let's shoot a whole bunch of guys only to immobilize them so that they can all still shoot me! -

Also, many powers detoggle, not just brawl. Some powers detoggle multiple toggles at a time.

Name: Paragon Stone
Server: Justice
Leaders: Roxstar
Website: http://www.paragonstone.tk/
Recruiters: Roxstar, Phantom Strife, Human Dustdevil
Description: This SG is mainly for Stone Tankers and Earth Controllers. Yes it's a themed SG, but that doesn't mean other archetypes aren't welcome. Anyone can join but must look stone-like. Earth Controllers are needed badly, Stone Tanks can be found anywhere. For information on the rules and costume, or to just leave a message on our forum plz visit the website.

Just to update this website is now http://www.geocities.com/paragon_stone & and the recruiters are Roxstar, Fossil Burn & Stone . (yes the . is a space from the name) -
I think you're problem might be that heavy mallet was the only attack with an end rdx. Stone Melee is really end heavy I'd say maybe 2nd to Axe in the tanker secondaries. Also try running without Pots like mentioned above. As far as my slots I have end rdx in the following powers Pots (2), Rock (1), Rooted (1) and all attacks(1). Hope that helps.
-
Thatsmystapler, what powers do have Edn Rdx in? If you don't have any in your attacks and your armors it will drain your end really fast. Also, the big problem is that you are soloing with mudpots. While soloing there's no need to grab agro since they'll all be focused on you. I'd suggest turning Pots off and see if your end problem gets any better. And this may be a duh kind of question but you are slotting with SO's right?

One thought about your latest build. I would try and fit in minerals before 47. There are a few psi-specific missions that is nice to have minerals for in your forties, well before 47.
[/ QUOTE ]
Lol, well I've already done my respec and now that I have I wish I would've put fossilize back til 47 and taken Minerals at 44. Fossilize doesn't last long (though I'm only 44 so it's not slotted up yet) and I never really noticed the difference without minerals before.
I took too many people's advice where they said you could do carnie missions with just Rooted and Rock Armor. Which you can, until you get to the boss! Heh, oh well I'll wait for the free respec from I7 to switch 'em...if we get one. -

Empowerment station buffs are currently set at 15 minute durations (far longer than any other non-toggle buff in the game). They are bestowed on you as soon as you craft them, and last 15 minutes from there. The idea is to have enough time to get you past that sticky part of a mission that was giving you trouble.
15 minutes is the time we are going to the Training Room with. If it turns out that that's not enough time for you to Empowerment Buff, get to the mission, and get you through the tough fight, then it will be increased.
[/ QUOTE ]
That's a terrible idea. I thought you guys wanted to give us something cool and helpful. So bascially it is a power that you get because you died in your mission and rezzed in your base? You craft it and try to run back to your mission and hope the buff helps you get past it? Wouldn't just buying inpirations while you were in the base give you the same benefit? And the inspirations will be more convenient since you can use them or not use them depending on what the situation calls for.
I just don't think this will be very helpful and I think it is far from what people thought we would be getting. When you think about it. It really doesn't make much sense and I see no reason for the addition the way you are going to do it. It's another object with no point except that you waste your salvage on it. It goes in line with the inf to prestige conversion rate idea. At the base it is a good idea but the way it is implemented brings nothing to the game and people won't use it.
[/ QUOTE ]
Basically I think these are only gonna be used in base raids since that's about half the time of most raids. -

Heh, i need to hit you up for some coloring tips. How did you get such clean lines from such a sketchy piece?
Oh and as an afterthought, on strength, he's supposed to be wearing bracers, not gloves
[/ QUOTE ]
Oops.....I'll fix it. And yeah the lines took a long time to fix up. A lot of brightness/contrast was done and then going in with a 2 px brush and tracing over all the lines for clarity. I think he turned out good though. -

Rox,
You really have a nice grasp on the coloring. We love how you put the group together. Can you add a LITTLE SPIKE to the group? The kid is thinking this is the cover to his book.
Thanks.

Thanks guys I'm glad you like it! Altoholic You know I thought the same thing when I was coloring it, but the reason I chose red and black was because if Ice. E's scarf. I kind of wanted them all to have something in common. THey also all have freckles. I believe they are all supposed to be the same person but I'm not sure
[/ QUOTE ]
Man I'm gonna have to go recolor all the ones I did! Yay for conformity!!! That's cool I'm getting better each time I'm doing it. Hey Gill do you have any suggestions on any good photoshop websites that specialize in comic coloring? I have a few but I just wanted some more insight. -

Okay, did my renditions of Flame & Spike.
It's about time we got a heroine and a super pet, Spike the Super hedgehog!(although he turned out like a mix of a hedgehog and King Koopa...)

Hehe...when I was coloring Megumiko's version of flame I was thinking about him looking like a girl. All you'd need is a little chest, I mean he looks kind of feminine to begin with.No offense Megumiko, he's still my favorite.
I love Spike btw....just awesome!
